"Aahahaha!" a ten-year-old Nawin dash within the park with a bright grin plastered on his face. An emotion of overjoyed and excitement is shown clearly in the big brown orbs. He laughs in anticipation the comes to a stop near at the end of the park. An isolated area of the park that not many enter because of the dense forest and tall trees that creates quite an intimidating appearance.

Nawin begins scanning around the area with optimism. His eyes darting to the sides, front, and back. "Ahaha," a melodic giggle escape from one of the bushes. "Ah!" Nawin beams and turn to the voice and sees emerging from the bush is Sayomi. Who's wearing a beautiful and amusing smile on her face, looking at him with warmth.

"Sayomi!" Nawin shouts out in his adorable squeaky voice and rushes toward the older girl. Sayomi kneels and catches the young boy into a warm embrace. "Ahaha," the Pureblood giggles, just feeling the Makasha's happiness radiating around him. No matter the times she must leave a few days to feed, Nawin regularly waits in this location for her return with a beaming smile. Never once did that smile waned and it is one of the things Sayomi always looked forward to when she returns to him.

Nawin pulls back to look at the Pureblood's face. He blinks a couple of time when noticing something. "Sayomi why are you still pale?" he asks with concern. Sayomi has always been more in the paler side, but Nawin can see it is more than usual. When she returned from these trips, she would look much better, but now it is different.

Sayomi cups the boy's cheek with her right hand and smile in reassurance. "It's nothing for you to be concern about my dear. I just haven't got enough sun recently" "Then we should head to the beach!" Nawin cutely suggests, his face burn in determination, and he points the direction toward the closest beach. Sayomi giggles a bit by the adorable expression on the boy's face and him pointing at the complete opposite direction of the beach.

Sayomi stands up and gently stroke the boy's soft black locks. "We can go at the weekend if you want my dear" "Yeah!" Nawin happily cheers which brings a bigger smile to the Pureblood's face. Sayomi brings her right hand down and like always, offers it to Nawin, who takes it without hesitation.

The two begin walking forward, their next destination is home. But they could only take a few steps before hearing one of the bushes rustles. "Huh?" Nawin tilts his head and turns to the direction "What's that?" "Probably some squirrels my dear" Sayomi answers and shift her gaze to the large bushes.

"Squirrels!" Nawin beams and let's go of the Pureblood's hand to rush toward the bushes. He stops in front of the bush "Hey little guy! You there?" he whispers out "My dear you probably just scared them away by rushing over there so loudly" Sayomi comments with amusement.

"Awww," Nawin moans in disappointment and is about to stand up when the bush rustle once again. He turns back and smiles, but that quickly twist into horror when seeing a black snake slither out of the bushes. It hisses and looks at the boy with its slit gray eyes. "Ahhahhhh!" Nawin scurries back and screams in fear. Sayomi immediately appears beside the boy and grasp both his shoulders then jump far back, away from the dangerous looking reptile.

"Ahhhh!" Nawin continues to cry in fear, hugging the Pureblood's legs tightly, burying his head against her stomach. Sayomi strokes the boy's hair and whispers comfort words to him "It's ok, it's ok, my dear. I don't let that snake hurt you." She knows of Nawin's fear for snakes. He never liked them and seeing one for the first time up close must have been terrifying.

Sayomi's gaze shifts to the snake and is surprised to see it still there. Not only is it not scared off by her sudden movement, but it has its eyes firmly set on her. Sayomi's eyes begin to narrow, and it gleams. A booming sound erupts, and a sizable hole appears in front of the snake.

Sayomi's eyes slightly widen when seeing a fading purple barrier surrounding the snake. It blocked her telekinetic attack. Realizing that this isn't a normal encounter, Sayomi immediately puts Nawin to sleep by gently grasping his head and temporary cutting his consciousness.

The Makasha falls forward on the Dracul before is pick up. Sayomi turns around and leans the young boy on one of the trees before returning to her feet. "Whoever you are... Either leave or show your true form," Sayomi utters, the soft and tranquil tone she carried before is gone and replaces with a deep tone with hidden malice.

The snake's eyes gleam before its entire body begins to glow. Sayomi stares at Nawin's face for a few seconds before turning around toward the light. Her pupils sharpen. The light starts to fade and emerging from it is Ophis, in her young girl form.

Ophis cross her arms behind her back and grow a faint smile when staring at Sayomi, who looks back with a sharp gaze. "Interesting... So, you Purebloods truly do still exist" Ophis starts off, her smile change to intrigue "Your kind are more ghost these days" "And it's better off that way," Sayomi firmly retort.

Ophis is slightly taken aback by the answer. "How did you find me?" Sayomi asks in a sharp tone, showing full hostile. "Believe if you will, but I merely was passing through here until I noticed you entering the city. From your appearance alone, I knew you were a vampire. A rare sight, so I followed. Not until just now when I got closer to you did, I identify you as a Pureblood." In her mind, Sayomi cusses to herself for being so careless. Because of it, she has placed Nawin in danger. And worse, someone in the supernatural world now knows of his existence.

Ophis's gaze firmly moves to Nawin. When seeing this, Sayomi step forward which has Ophis's attention return to her. "You are playing with your food?" the Deity asks, tilting her head "From the answer you gave... I didn't think you would be so fiendish."

"He isn't food," Sayomi firmly state "Your pet then?" Ophis asks and sees her words are beginning to annoy the Pureblood. "None of those and none of your business to know" Sayomi replies. Ophis continues to be intrigued by this. The Pureblood in front of her is very different compared to the ones she'd seen. Compared to when she witnessed Alucard's reigned on earth and saw how the Purebloods acted. How vicious they can be.

"Do you know who I am?" Ophis asks "I do, and I preferred if you go on with your business" Sayomi swiftly retorts. Ophis's eyes narrow at the tone and show a hint of annoyance starts to build. "If you do know who I am then you should watch your tone," "Take your own advice too," Sayomi's eyes gleam "You don't know who I am. Just because you are a deity don't think you are invincible."

The air begins to grow tense as the two powerful beings stare at one another. Their gaze clashing is enough to have the trees around the area starts cracking and splitting.

Ophis isn't blind and sees this unknown Pureblood is strong. Stronger than any other ones she has encountered in the pasts. 'She must have a royal blood coursing through her... Either a Princess of some of the Pureblood families that existed back then.'

Ophis takes a glance at Nawin and notices Sayomi tenses. She smirks at this. 'I can easily use the boy to kill her. She is in clear disadvantage. But, killing her now would be a waste. She could prove to be very useful in the future. Especially with her deep attachment to this boy.' "Harm a hair on that boy," Sayomi speaks, catching Ophis's attention "And I will bring an army of hell to you, Ophis. I'll punch through the Dimensional gap and wreak havoc. That I swear."

'Uh?!' for only the second time in her life, Ophis feels her heart freeze for a moment in intimidation. Those red eyes glaring at her is filled with so much intent that Ophis believe the Pureblood's words.

But that feeling is quickly gone and instead, Ophis return to neutral. Her face returns to expressionless. "That boy is nothing but a frail human. He serves no use for me. Human is nothing but creatures running borrowed time until they rot away. Like insects."

Ophis's lip twists into a dark smirk as she looks Sayomi right in the eyes. "Before you know it he'll wither away in age. Unless... you turn him of cours-" "Shut up," Sayomi hiss "My patience is running thin! Get lost, Dragon!"

Ophis remain calm and turns around. She glances back but not at Sayomi although instead at Nawin. Her gray eyes flash in intrigue when staring at the boy's face. Sayomi sees the look directed to the Makasha and brings her right arm up, red orb charges on the palm and aim at the Dragon.

Ophis just slowly shift her gaze at the Pureblood and gives a taunting smirk before her entire body glows in bright light. Sayomi blinks once and sees the light dies away to show Ophis has left. Dispersing the magic orb, Sayomi turns around and kneels in front of the sleeping boy.

A look of solemn crosses on the Pureblood's face as she looks at Nawin's sleeping face. She brings her right hand forward and cups his soft cheek, stroking it lovingly. "I hope you never will get involved in the supernatural world, my dear. Your parents and I will do our best not to let that happen. You are too good for this world... This world should not taint you with its cruelness."

Sayomi gently scoops the boy onto her arms and begins walking out of the forest section of the park. "I hope that you will never have to see her again, my dear. As long as I am alive, she won't sink her fangs on you."

Present: Twin Peak

Sayomi stares at Nawin from the top of the mountain. Watching him being consumed in the mark's power. That look of anguish and malice plastered on his face. Her eyes exhibit sadness and grief as the memory of the younger Nawin flashes over the current one. "... I failed to keep that promise to myself and... To you, my dear."

Battlefield

The entire Carmilla's army watches the Makasha with wide-eyed in silence. Stunned by this sinister power coming from him. Akeno and the group look at their dear friend with great concern. "H-He's using it?" Riser whispers out, opening his eyes "Uh," Rias looks down at her friend and sees him regaining conscious "Y-yeah," she answers with a stiff nod.

"Damn!" Issei punches the barrier, and his fist bounces off it. He glares heatedly at Marius. Enrage at the Vampire for antagonizing his friend to use that cursed mark. "Don't, Issei" Rias speaks, already knowing what her lover is planning. Issei turns around to face the Gremory "Why?!" "Because you'll just end up getting yourself in harm's way. Nawin-kun may have some control over the mark but if he losses that control then you'll be his enemy as well."

"She's right, Issei," Akeno speaks up. Issei turns and sees the great concern on the Himejima's face as her eyes firmly set on the Makasha. Akeno tears her gaze away and focuses on healing Akame, who's gone unconscious. "Right now, all we can do is hope for Nawin-kun to not lose himself to the mark's temptation... I-I hope."

Issei clench his hands when seeing the Himejima taking it hard by seeing Nawin using the mark's power. 'It must tough... Seeing him like this and feeling that horrid aura engulfed him.' Issei turns around to look at the person he considers his best friend 'Nawin... Don't lose control, please.'

Marius watches the Makasha stood there still like stone. Staring at him with those piercing slit eyes. "I don't know what this power is," Marius regains his sinister and arrogant smirk "But it won't change the outcome of this battle! You'll just collapse in exhaustion soon enough, and I'll finish you off!"

Marius's eyes snap wide, and the iris gleams. Nawin looks up and burst to the right before the telekinetic could come into contact. The speed behind the Makasha's movement was so abrupt and booming that it left the ground where he once stood to shatter into smithereens.

Cussing, Marius tries again but before he even gets a chance. He finds himself falling and crashing face-first onto the earth. "Ahhhhhhh!" the spectators watch in speechless at the dismembered Marius screaming on the ground. His bottom-half stood on the same spot with blood gushing from the open wound. Nawin stood behind, staring at the screaming man with a sinister gaze while the black electricity surrounding his right hand disperse. It all happened so quick that no one could even register it happening until Marius starts crying in agony.

Nawin watches the legs jump and hurl a spinning roundhouse kick to his head. With ease, the Makasha catch the attack then throws the legs to the far distance, away from Marius.

"Guuuhhh," Marius takes his hands on the ground to push himself up until Nawin comes from the side and brings a right hand down on his head, gripping it painfully tight. "Gahh!" Marius grunts in pain and opens his eyes to see himself staring face to face with the Makasha.

Though, instead of emitting fear. Marius quietly smirks at the face of his opponent. Nawin growls at the sight of the Tepes's smirk and hurls him to the east in rapid speed. Marius soars through the air for a moment before approaching down to the earth in accelerating speed. He comes crashing through a thick boulder before plunging to the surface.

"Grhhh!" Marius groans in pain and pushes the rubbles off him. He didn't waste time to use the Grail's power and in less than a minute. A bright light forms out of Marius's waist, and it begins shifting into a pair of legs. When the light disappears, a new pair of limbs is shown.

The Tepes grins in satisfaction. Still impressed by the Longinus's ability. He returns to his feet and quickly perks before jumping back to avoid Nawin coming from the top, bursting through the cloud of dust with his right feet aimed down.

The moment Marius's feet touch the ground, he thrust both arms forward to form a sizeable red magic orb between the palms. "Take this!" he exclaims and discharges a thunderous beam to the Makasha that's still in the smoke. When the beam dies down, Marius looks and is in a shock to see Nawin standing there on the destroyed ground with barely any noticeable injuries. His shirt is completely burnt to show his toned upper body. The Draconic Mark is on a clear display, showing it covering half of the Makasha's entire body.

Marius is beside himself when seeing the Makasha is staring at him with those venomous eyes. Not treating him like a threat. "You got your legs back," Nawin notes "Like I said," Marius spat in arrogance "I am unkillable!" "Then I won't have to hold back," Nawin state with a twisted smirk dancing on his lip "I'll kill you again and again until you can't handle it anymore."

Spreading his arms to the side. Marius roars and releases his mana. The red aura emits around the silver-haired man before discharging to a destructive degree. Everyone senses the Tepes's mana skyrocketing to another level. "Good!" Nawin screams, his smirk twist into a wide grin "Give me a battle! A real fucking battle that'll leave Transmere shaken! By the end of it! I'LL BE PAINTING THIS GROUND IN YOUR BLOOD!"

"I LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY!" Marius hollers then thrust his right arm forward to release a thunderous telekinetic blast that obliterates the area and send the Makasha blasting off in bullet speed. Marius lifts a piece of the earth from the ground and starts cutting its side in rapid pace using his telekinetic ability. The object quickly shapes into a large size cone with a sharp pointy head. Marius thrust his right arm to hurl the cone forward.

Nawin maneuvers his body in midair and slams his feet into the ground, dragging through the earth to slow down the momentum. When halting in place, Nawin looks forward and sees the earth cone is just a mere meter away from him.

Marius along with the spectators receive a shocking surprise by what happened next. A large black onyx color arm created of pure mana manifest out of the aura surrounding Nawin. This thing clenches into a fist and burst forward to smash the incoming cone into pieces.

"W-what is that?" Marius whisper, watching the hand returns besides the Makasha like an obedient pet waiting for its next order. "Ahahaha," Nawin starts chuckling darkly, and the arm raises up to the air. Black electric cracks into life before charging around the hand. "Blow up that son of a bitch."

By the Makasha's order. The hand darts forward to throw a circle shape projectile created by Nawin's signature black lightning magic. The projectile suddenly burst forward in light speed and impacts on where Marius stood. Next thing everyone sees is the field ignites in a blinding explosion that creates tremors. The battleground levels in destruction with pieces of earth scattering everywhere.

The clouds of smoke lift to the air as everyone on the sidelines watching with wide-eyes at the destruction caused by the Makasha. "W-what is that?" Issei utters, looking at the hand beside Nawin. Rias helps Riser up, done healing his wounds before shifting her gaze forward "I have never seen Nawin-kun used that before." Akeno didn't say anything and just focus on healing Akame, not wanting to see the current state of her lover. Anxiety coursed through her entire being. Akeno grits her teeth and watches the hole on Akame's abdomen slowly closes. Koneko glance up at her friend's face with concern, seeing how stressful those violet eyes display.

Nawin begins walking toward the destruction. Suddenly, the earth from behind starts cracking and up burst Marius. "Uh?!" Nawin turns around and gets snatch by the throat. "Ahaha!" Marius chuckle and starts squeezing the Makasha's neck. Nawin coughs but doesn't weaken. Instead, glares at the Tepes and the arm comes bursting down to crush the man into the ground with relenting force.

Nawin jumps away and smirks at the sight of the hand literally squashing Marius down to the ground like a mosquito. Calling the arm back, Nawin begins matching forward. "W-what?!" Nawin utters out through his gritted teeth when his entire body freeze still. Unmoved like a stone. The Makasha tries to force his legs to move, but it proves fruitless. 'W-what is this?!'

"Kukukuku," Nawin sees Marius slowly rising up from the ground like the undead. The dislocated bones in his body create sickening cracking noises as it starts jointing back in place. Marius stands straight and grins in satisfaction. "Paralyze seal," he remarks and advances to the frozen Makasha.

Marius stops in front and gets face to face with the Makasha. "All I need was grab your throat and placed the seal on you," the Tepes state and laughs by the burning rage shimmering in his adversary's eyes. Marius turns to the strange arm "Interesting technique, though annoying!" he shouts and swipes his right hand upward, using the sharp nails to sever the black arm away from the Makasha's aura.

The arm drops to the ground and disperses into black smoke. Nawin mentally cuss when seeing this and starts trying again to move his body. Seeing that he is now completely defenseless.

"Nawin!" Issei shouts, seeing Marius turning to the Makasha, pointing those dangerous nails forward to the neck. "No!" Akeno shouts, standing up and rushing to the barrier, slamming her fists at it "Nawin-kun!"

Marius chuckles and grazes his nails across Nawin's neck, drawing a tiny cut that immediately leaks out some blood. "You hear their screaming?" Marius utters, smirking cruelly "Soon those screams will be one of pain... When I slowly tear all their heads off their body, one by one. And don't worry," Marius leans close to the Makasha's ear "I'll drop your dear lover's head right beside your corpse... Though, before I kill her, I'll have some fun with her."

Nawin's eyes widen at the comment and see Marius pulls back, wearing that disgusting smirk. "Y-you," Nawin utters, his lip twitch before twisting into a sneer. The mark glows and starts spreading across until it covers the Makasha's entire body. Marius sees this and immediately push his hand forward, aiming the nails at the center of the neck for the kill.

"YOU MOTHER FUCKER!" Nawin roars out with such force it creates a sonic boom that blasts Marius away in missile speed. Sending him bouncing through the earth like a ragdoll. "AHHHHHHHHH!" Nawin yells to the sky and starts using the mark's power to break through the seal. Suddenly, the Makasha's neck glows to reveal the seal. His arms begin to move, then follow that is his feet that starts walking. Instantly that walk breaks into a sprint before Nawin kicks off the ground to burst toward the Tepes.

Marius pushes his right arm down to send him to the air then rotates to land on his feet. Nawin comes bursting from the front like a hawk and snatches the Tepe's face then slams it to the ground. Dragging Marius's head through the earth in a vicious manner. Marius's feels his face being rip apart from the broken surface that contains many crushed pebbles and sharp rocks that can easily cut flesh.

Nawin pulls Marius in front and delivers a brutal punch to the stomach that shatters the ground. The Tepes immediately vomits blood, and his eyes bulge out to the degree that it looked like it'll fallout from the sockets. A dark smirk plays on the Makasha's lip when he sees the evident pain shown on Marius's face.

Releasing the Tepe's face. Nawin gives a vicious front kick to the stomach that sends Marius blasting away. He goes flying and crashes through two rock pillars before smashing to the surface.

"Grrahhhhh!" Nawin growls through his gritted teeth. The Canine teeth start growing in length and sharpen in shape, sharing a great resemblance to a dragon. A newfound rage surge through the Makasha's body. Marius's words play in his mind 'Though, before I kill her, I'll have some fun with her.' "Grrrhhhh!" Nawin's growls become deeper as his body begins shaking lightly.

'Ahahaha,' a demonic and unmistakable chuckle echoes inside the Makasha's mind. 'You hate him don't you, kid?' Tairex question in a wicked tone 'You want to kill him, no? Want to rip him into pieces. Want to gouge his eyes off. Want to burn a hole through his body. Want to make him suffer! If that's what you want, then that mark won't be enough! You'll need more... Much more.'

Nawin's open his eyes to find himself floating in a black void inside his mindscape. Standing in front is Tairex in his dragon form. That terrifying form that can scare any living creature. "Hehehe," the black dragon chuckles and pulls the Makasha closer by using telekinesis. Nawin doesn't say anything and looks on in silence with fade red eyes. The Draconic mark still covered across his body.

"You have the desire presently to reach a new height," Tairex says, grinning widely to display those large, horrifying razor-sharp teeth "I'll push you to that level, kid. Then you can wreak havoc! Kill that fucker for what he has done and said! Rain down blood and destruction on this land!"

Nawin watches Tairex open those massive jaws and moves closer. Seconds later, Tairex slams his mouth shuts and takes the Makasha in. Eaten him whole.

From the outside, Nawin falls on all fours as black mist comes to life around him. "Grrahhhh!" the Makasha's growls become inhuman and now match more of a beast. His eyes start crying in blood. Nawin's hair rapidly begins growing in length until it touches the ground.

"N-No," Akeno mutters in horror, her hand held over her mouth. This feeling of impending washes over the Himejima as she stares at her lover. Seeing him becoming something. Something evil. "Uu-urgh," Akame shakily opens her right and looks down at her King. 'N-Nawin-kun... No...'

"T-This," Rias stop beside Issei, watching on in shock. "This isn't the mark's doing... I-It's something else," "W-what's happening to him, Rias?" Issei whispers out, watching helplessly by the sideline. His feet stick to the ground like glue from the horror at what his best friend is becoming. Rias didn't answer. She clenches her hands together and rests it on her chest.

Gasper stops to his king's side and grabs her by the end of the shirt. "Buchou! What's happening to Nawin-san!" he asks, tears trickling down his eyes. "Buchou!" Gasper shakes the Gremory for an answer. Rias couldn't say anything and just look onwards at the horrifying scene. Everyone inside the barrier can only watch on in anxiety for their friend/lover's life.

Sayomi watches the scene in rage. She wanted Nawin to reach to the next level but seeing this. Seeing what he is becoming has crushed that desire entirely. "Marius," Sayomi snarl in hatred "You fucker... You pushed him too far." It is taking everything in the Pureblood not to interrupt. She wants to see this through and hope in the end. Nawin can control this power. "Please," Sayomi whispers, her eyes show immeasurable sadness in them "Overcome this... Nawin."

Marius pushes out of the rubbles and stands up. He turns around and is like everyone, stunned by the Makasha's current state. The black mist around Nawin starts moving closer until it completely covers him in a shape of a dome. Everyone on the battlefield holds their breath and watch with anxious at what is to come.

"Get out of there, bastard!" Marius shouts and fires off a magic orb. The attack soars through the air and contacts the dome only to bounce off. Marius is stunned by the result and watch his attack contact a boulder and combust it into smithereens.

"Ahhhhhaahhhhhhhhhh!" Nawin's scream booms inside the dome before it shatters to cause a massive and destructive shockwave that shakes the entire realm of Vamhaven. The shockwave flings Marius away in bullet speed. The gold barrier protecting the group shatters by the intense pressure in the air. "Ahhhhahhh!" Rias and the rest go flying back by the thunderous force. From even further distance, Stan and the rest of the army also are blast away by the shockwave.

The entire populous of Transmere just felt the shockwave and tremors coming from the battlefield. All begin feeling a torrent of ominous coming down at them. Love ones clutch each other for support. Parents hold their kids close. Others stay indoors for protection.

When dust clear, it shows the largest and barren crater ever to be seen in Vamhaven. The pit stretch across for over a hundred meters wide and over thirty meters deep. It looked like a colossal meteorite just crashed on the battlefield.

A red blast explodes from the ground and exiting the hole is Marius. "Urgh!" he drops to his knees and grips the right shoulder. Feeling the right arm got dislocated by crashing through the ground. Marius stands up and pulls the arm to force it back in the socket. "There," he utters then looks around to find himself inside the crater. Marius turns forward and lets out a gasp. His entire expression shift to speechless.

In the very center of the crater stood a figure in the dust. When the copper-colored cloud is lifted, the view becomes clear. Standing there is a humanoid figure that resembles the body structure of Nawin. The figure is entirely covered in darkness. Like the black aura has fused into Nawin's flesh. As if he has converted himself into Tairex's raw power. Becoming a being made of mana.

Two pupil-less glowing red eyes snap opens and stares straight at Marius. The Draconic mark is still visible. Its purple patterns are spread all over the Makasha's body. Lapping over the darkness.

"What the hell are you?" Marius utters in disbelief, looking at the unworldly figure "Are you even Nawin Makasha?!" Marius didn't get a reply and sees the figure begins slowly advancing towards him. "Huh, if I had to take a guess... You have lost control of your sacred gear," Marius comment with a smirk "Now you've become nothing but a mindless beast. Excellent! This will make killing you much easier!"

Marius kicks off the ground to blast toward Nawin. Reaching his right hand out, clenching it to a fist. Marius brings it forward with full strength behind it, aiming for the head. "W-what?!" as he was inches away from attacking, Marius feels his entire body freezes in midair.

Nawin lets out a low growl then his eyes gleam. A sudden repulsive force discharge from the Makasha's body and sends Marius blasting beyond while the earth beneath shatters in destruction. The Tepes thrashes around the air before crashing into the crater's slope, buried inside the earth.

"T-that can't be Nawin, can it?" Issei utters out in stunned. The group has taken to the skies to watch the battle continues. Akame's injuries have already been dealt with, and she is now being carried on Koneko's back. Riser wounds have also been healed, and he is now floating with the rest without needing help.

"T-that c-can't," Akeno whispers out with glossy eyes, watching the rapid changed of appearance of her lover. It's like he is a completely different person. "T-that isn't, Nawin-kun..." "It must have something to do with his sacred gear," Rias speaks out, catching everyone's attention. "But he has control over it!" Issei inserts "And so did you," Rias retorts "Remember Hollow Hell? When you thought Lucy killed Kokoro and you went berserk?" she reminds, and Issei goes silent, grimacing at the memory.

"We need to do something!" Akeno snaps out of the shock and turns to her King "Rias, we nee-" "No!" Akeno is left shocked by the Gremory swift reply. "Don't be stupid," Rias peers directly at her friend's eyes "That down there isn't Nawin-kun anymore... That there is his sacred gear's soul taking over. We land down there then we are his enemy as well. Currently, Nawin is more dangerous than even Marius so going down there means our deaths, Akeno!"

Akeno grits her teeth and shifts back to the scene below. Clenching her fist so tightly that blood starts seeping out from the gaps. 'Nawin-kun... Please fight this. Please return to who you are!'

"Ahhhh!" Marius burst out from the earth and set sight at the Makasha. "Bastard!" he roars then thrust both arms to fire off a volley of magic missiles. The dozens of lance shape attacks soar through the air and rapidly gaining distance to its target.

Nawin abruptly breaks into a sprint before bursting through the missiles. Marius watch in speechless at the dozens of small explosions erupts from the projectiles colliding with a surface. Even with being hit by all those attacks, Nawin just blazed through them like they were nothing.

Marius cuss and gets to a stance when seeing the Makasha approaching him n rapid pace. Nawin suddenly thrust his right arm forward, and it extends out of its regular length. Stretching promptly toward the Tepes. Like an elastic.

Caught off-guard by this, Marius gets taken by the throat then is yank toward the Makasha. Marius comes to a stop right in front of Nawin. "U-uh," he can't hide the look of fear when being in this close contact with the Makasha's current appearance. The raw mana radiating from him is able to make the Tepes shiver. Then there are those two red glowing orbs devoid of any emotions staring at him. It is a terrifying image.

"Gahh!" Marius screeches out in pain when feeling the Makasha's other hand snaps down on his right thigh. The long and sharp nails digging into the flesh. Nawin holds Marius sideways then begins pulling. "Uh-AHHHHHH!" Marius cries out in agony, feeling himself being literally ripped in half.

"GAHHHHHH!" the Tepe's stomach starts opening to reveal the inner flesh. Blood pours down from the open cut and splatters to the ground. The intestines slither out and hang limply. "Hehehe," Nawin chuckles in a deep demonic voice before roaring and entirely pulls Marius into two at one swift motion.

Tossing the bottom half away, Nawin looks at the upper half and sees Marius quivering in fear. Looking at him with those wide eyes revealing panic. Nawin's lip twist into a wide sinister grin. He clasps both hands on the Tepes's head. "D-don't" Marius whispers as he is once again pulled straight near the Makasha's face.

Black electricity begins cracks around Nawin's hands. "AAAAHHHHHHH!" Marius's agonizing scream explode around the area that has many that heard wince. The Tepes feels thousands of volts surging inside his head. His body goes into a shake like a seizure. The arms jerking and turning everywhere. The head cocking to the sides. His eyes roll to the back of the skull.

Nawin grins widen and increase the volume of electricity more until Marius's entire head couldn't take it anymore and explodes. Pieces of the brain splatter everywhere on the ground. Fresh blood covers the Makasha's chest and face. The headless upper body collapses to the ground and lays on its blood.

Nawin spreads his arms out and cocks his head up to release a mighty roar that causes the ground to implode. A single roar was enough to produce a mighty shockwave that shook the entire crater.

"Damn it!" Sayomi cuss, her teeth bare to show those sharp fangs. The emotion of concern and anguish displays on the Pureblood's face. The scene below is getting harder and harder for the Dracul to stomach. Seeing Nawin transformed into that hideous form. Completely giving freedom for his sacred gear to go on a rampage. Surrendering his body to it.

Sayomi glance to the east over where Marius's upper body was sent by the shockwave. He is already rapidly regenerating to his previous state. "This will be a never-ending cycle... Nawin will just keep killing him again and again. Marius no longer stands a chance in this battle... He is just stalling the inevitable." Sayomi shifts her eyes back to the Makasha and frowns "The more Nawin spends in that form, the harder it'll be for him to escape it..."

Thinking for a moment, Sayomi sighs and reopens her eyes. "You stupid boy," she whispers as a howling wind blows past. Sayomi clenches her knee before slowly raising up to her feet. "Looks like I have to step in."

Marius raises back to his feet after the sacred gear regenerated all the missing limbs and head. "Grahhhh," he growls and looks ahead to see Nawin already has sight set on him. "That's all you got?!" Marius shouts out, and his eyes gleam to activate the telekinetic.

Nawin takes a step to the right and avoids the invisible force with ease. He then takes one step forward and instantly appears right in front of the Tepes. "W-what?" Marius whispers in disbelief at the unworldly speed he just witnessed. It was even faster than when Nawin used the Speeding Shadow God. Before a blink of an eye, he appeared in front. It was horrifying.

A long blade made of shadows appears on the Makasha's right hand. He grins widely and brings the sword forward to the Tepes. Then just like that, the sword disperses away, and Nawin brings his right arm down. Silence befalls while Marius just stares at the Makasha with wide eyes. Then, a thousand of cuts explode all around the Tepes's body. His arms, legs, torso, neck, waist, and head is covered in hundreds of deep cuts.

"GAAHAAAAA!" Marius stumbles back like he is on fire. Looking at his bleeding arms in terror. Every inch of his body emits agonizing pain. "AAAAAHHHHH!" unable to even coup through this torturous feeling, Marius drops to the ground and continues crying in pain as a horrifying amount of blood pours from the hundreds of cut wounds.

"T-this," Akeno whispers as tears drips down her eyes "This i-isn't Nawin-kun... I-It isn't him." Rias clench her hands when seeing the Himejima breaking down by the terrifying scene. Everyone in the group is just frozen in place. None knows what to do as they watch their friend going on a rampage. Killing Marius repeatedly in hideous ways.

"I can't take this!" Issei shouts, and the rest shift to him "We need to do something! We need to reason with Nawin! Snap him out of it!" "And if that doesn't work? We get ourselves killed?" Riser retorts "Would you rather just do nothing while Nawin is losing himself!" Issei explodes, glaring at the Phenex "Of course I want to do something! Nawin is my friend as well, but I am trying to think logical here!" Riser screams back.

Rias watch her team going in fragmentation. Akeno feeling despair by seeing what her lover is becoming. Issei and Riser arguing on what to do. Gasper hiding behind her while looking at the battle with glossy eyes. Koneko and Akame watching their friend/king with helpless eyes that don't know what to do.

Rias turn forward to see Nawin marching toward Marius who's still on the ground twisting around in a pool of his blood. 'What to do, what to do, what to do?!' Rias grits her teeth tightly while trying to come up with a plan to save their friend. But as much as she tries to look at all the scenario. Every one of them ends with them getting killed. Rias saw just how fast Nawin is currently in that monstrous form. He can kill them in a blink of an eye.

"Rias!" Issei's sudden shout snaps the Gremory out of her thoughts and opens her eyes. "W-what?!" Rias whispers in shock when seeing a massive pink barrier form around the crater. "W-when did that happen?!" she questions, turning to Issei "I-I don't know? It just appeared out of nowhere" "The cast was in an accelerating speed," Riser comments, looking at the barrier with suspicion "Someone just entered the battle."

"Who?" Akeno asks, wiping the tears away and shifts to the Phenex "Going in there is suicidal." "Koneko did you caught anything?" Rias asks her Rook "No, Buchou. This person took a stealth approach into the crater." Rias revert to the barrier and watch the dense pink mana blocking the view inside. 'Who would trap them self in there? Akeno is right... It's suicidal.'

Inside the Barrier

Nawin growls loudly at the barrier trapping him. He sways around to see it encasing the entire crater. Effectively leaving no means to escape. Nothing can be seen through it from the inside and outside.

"Grgh!" the Makasha's head cocks to the side before his entire twist around swiftly to meet with Sayomi. "Gruah?!" Nawin's tilt his head, his eyes show curiosity at the Pureblood. "You don't recognize me?" Sayomi asks, looking at the Makasha with steel eyes.

Nawin takes a step forward and stretches his arms out to the Pureblood. Almost like he wants to go closer and touch her. Then, suddenly the Draconic marks activate and glows vividly. "Gaaarrrhhhh!" Nawin's heads cock up, and he lets out a roar fill with pain. "What?!" Sayomi utters in shock and sees Nawin snapping at her, now glaring with venom.

The Makasha breaks into a sprint, charging toward the Pureblood with both arms spread to the sides. "Damn you, Ophis!" Sayomi swears, seeing the Dragon god meddling when she made herself known. She gets to her fighting stance. Legs placed slightly wider than the hips. Right feet slide in front while left remain behind. Arms up with the left positioned forward while the right stays near the chin. It isn't a stance the Dracul use regularly. It is a stance reserve for more non-lethal combat.

Nawin disappears in speed, leaving the ground he once stood to implode. Sayomi cocks her head to the right to avoid a right fist blasting from behind. To counter, Sayomi uses her right arm and snatch the Makasha's wrist then throws him over her shoulder. Sayomi then gives a right kick to Nawin's back while he is still in midair, blasting him through the earth.

Sayomi watches Nawin quickly kip up to his feet. Looking unaffected by her attacks. Of course, the Dracul is holding her power back by more than half. "I need to calm him down," Sayomi whispers to herself "And do it quickly."

"Rarrrrhhh!" Nawin lets out a mighty roar, producing a sonic boom to the Dracul. Sayomi pulls her right arm back then thrust it forward in blind speed to create a violent wind blast that pierces through the sonic boom and collide with the Makasha.

Nawin goes on all four to keep his footing. Digging the nails into the earth to withstand the wind current. When it passes, he stands up and lets out another roar. Sayomi perks when hearing a sound of crackling coming from above. She looks up and gets a surprise when seeing a black portal form in the air, aiming right down at her.

The portal suddenly rains down a volley of black lightning strikes. All speeding down to the Pureblood. "That's new," Sayomi comments and thrust her right arm up to discharge a booming telekinetic blast that easily overpowers the strikes. All the lightning gets redirects to varies direction, away from the Pureblood.

Sayomi looks forward and receives a brutal right fist right to the center of her face. She is sent sliding away, though still on her feet. Nawin gives chase and when near, jumps while stretching his right arm for a clothesline. Sayomi's opens her eyes, and it gleams in annoyance. "Garhh?!" Nawin's movement comes to a halt like a stone.

Sayomi stands straight and cocks her head to the right to spit out blood before shifting back to the Makasha. "Would you snap out of it?!" Sayomi snaps, getting more and angrier the longer she sees Nawin in that form. She delivers a quick right hook that connects perfectly at the Makasha's face and sends him blasting to the ground.

Nawin quickly sits up, but another fist smashes to his forehead and sends him back into the ground. Sayomi straddles down on the Makasha and clenches her right hand into a fist for another attack. But, Nawin is relentless. He brings both hands up and clamps the nails into the Dracul's waist.

"Guh!" Sayomi grunts in pain and brings her fist down, smashing it at the Makasha's face. The ground cracks and shatters by force exuding from the attack, but Nawin keeps an iron grip on the Pureblood. Pushing the nails deeper into the flesh. Sayomi retracts her arm for another attack. She looks down at the Makasha's face, and her eyes widen when seeing an image of Nawin in his normal form appearing over the current one.

"Garrhh!" Nawin roars and digs deeper into the Dracul. Sayomi winces and opens her eyes to see the current state of the Makasha. Seeing as this rampaging beast. 'Sayomi! One day you won't need to protect me! Because when I get bigger, I'll get stronger, so I can protect you!' 'Ahaha, I can't wait for that day, my dear.'

Sayomi's eyes turn solemn as memories resurface. She looks down at the current state of Nawin with great grief. "I'm sorry," Sayomi whispers, a single tear falls from her right eyes "I'm sorry for this, my dear. I'm so sorry that I failed you." "Raagh!" Nawin growls and shoots his upper body up to headbutt the Dracul. Sayomi grunts but didn't get staggered. She brings both arms forward to pushes the Makasha down to the ground.

"Raargghh!" Nawin roars and tries to retaliate, but the Pureblood's strength was overwhelming. "Nawin..." Sayomi whispers, looking down at the boy, watching him growling like a beast. The Draconic mark is glowing brightly, tainting his mind. 'As long as I am alive, she won't sink her fangs on you.' That past sentence echoes through Sayomi's mind. The word she spoke through her mouth and meant it.

"Snap out of it!" Sayomi shouts and only receive a roar in response from the Makasha as he twists and turns, trying to escape. Nawin pulls his arms back and thrust both forward to the Dracul's stomach. "Gahh!" Sayomi coughs out blood, feeling the nails digging into her flesh.

"Hehehe," Sayomi faintly chuckles as blood drips from her lip. "Remember whenever I got mad you would give me a kiss, my dear?" Sayomi question and Nawin's movement suddenly comes to a halt, and he looks at her, tilting his head to the side in a sort of confusing manner. "It always worked. You were always able to calm me down." Sayomi's lip forms a breathtaking and warm smile that immediately has an effect on Nawin. His once tense shoulder starts to relax, and his arms fall. He just stares at the Dracul in an almost trance moment.

Sayomi begins leaning down slowly and close her eyes. "Wake up, my dear" she whispers before her lip joins with Nawin's.

Mindscape

In a void of darkness, Nawin floats around aimlessly. A cold world filled with nothingness. In a way, it is almost comforting. In here, no worries can be felt. Just endless silence. "Wake up, my dear." A soft voice whisper through the void. Nawin's eyes slowly open when hearing the voice.

Nawin floats upwards and looks around. "Sayomi?" he whispers, knowing that voice very well even if it was faint. For the first time when here, Nawin begins to feel some warmth in his body. First, the feeling started on his lip, and now it surges through his entire body. This warmth is able to make him move again. It starts giving him strength.

Nawin looks onwards to the endless abyss. His expression morph to stoic while his eyes sharpen like a knife. "Tairex!" Nawin shouts for the dragon "Reveal yourself!"

It did not take long when a puff of shadow form in existence in front of the Makasha. It morphs into a humanoid shape until the shadows scatter to reveal Tairex in his human form. A tall man who looks to be in his late twenties. Tan complexion with wine-red color eyes with slit-shaped pupils. Long black hair that reaches to the knees with long bangs falling to the side of his shapely sculpture face. Like before he is dressed in a black kimono with red interior.

"Kid," Tairex speaks, wearing that devilish smirk. "You dare take advantage of me?!" Nawin shouts, anger visibly shows in his eyes and face "When I was enraged and vulnerable! You dare step in?!" Tairex remains composed by the rant. "I did what I thought was right to get you to the next level. Also," the Dragon looks at the Makasha in the eyes, tilting his head "Wasn't that what you wanted? To have the power to repeatedly kill Marius in the crudest way possible until he loses the will to live. To make him suffer a fate worse than death?"

Nawin goes silent because Tairex was right. After hearing what Marius spat out of his mouth about what he would do with Akeno. When that line was said, Nawin snapped and completely lose himself in rage. Wanting nothing but to kill Marius again and again.

"I gave you what you wanted," Tairex state, crossing his arms. "No," Nawin looks up at the Dragon "You gave me a power that consumed me and turned me into a monster... You made me become a more dangerous individual than even Marius!" "You couldn't control it" "You gave it to me when I was at my most vulnerable!" Nawin retorts with booming volume.

"Well suck it up!" Tairex exclaims, getting angry "What you think this is?! A walk in the park?! You think you'll become stronger by taking baby steps! You've been stuck at the same level for far too long, and it was time to ascend!" Nawin is shocked by the sudden outburst from the Dragon and didn't reply, so Tairex continues. "I chose this moment because you had the will! The hatred! The determination to rise to a whole other level! You were facing an individual that you utterly loathe, and in turn, he gave you the drive to reach this level! You wanted to do everything in your power to make Marius suffer! To you, he became the most hated individual."

Tairex takes a deep breath and exhales. He opens his eyes to see Nawin staring at the ground with confliction in those brown orbs. "Now," Tairex speaks in more compose manner "With you woken up by the Pureblood's help... It's time for you to regain control and finish this battle, kid."

Nawin looks up at Tairex "Sayomi?" he says and unconsciously presses his left index and middle fingers to his lip. "Yes," Tairex nod "She stepped in since you were going to rampant. It's very fortunate that she is in Transmere still since she is the only one here that holds power to restrain you... I doubt you'd want to know the outcome if your lover and her friends stepped in."

"Uh?!" Nawin's eyes widen, and scenarios surface to existence. Scenarios of what would have happened if Akeno, Rias, Issei, and the rest tried to stop him. "Gah!" Nawin grits his teeth and clenches his hand at anger. Furious at himself to be in a position to have that scenario become a possibility.

Nawin closes his eyes and exhales. Trying to calm down. "You're right," he says to the Dragon "It wasn't your fault... I should have been able to take control, but instead, I just allowed the power to overwhelmed me. And," the Draconic Mark starts glowing and begins receding back to the primary mark on the neck. The flaming pattern slithers backward, releasing its fangs from the Makasha's body.

With the Draconic mark restrained, Nawin slowly opens his eyes to reveal those shining red orbs with the pupil shape to a slit. "It's time I take back control and end this" "Huh," Tairex smirk and can't hide the look of pride in those devilish eyes. "Then take the power I bestowed upon you and overcome it. Make it yours!" "No longer trying to take control of my body?" Nawin asks with a faint smirk "Hah," Tairex chuckle and turns around "You have brought some entertainment in my way, kid. For now," he looks back and smiles "I'm fine with how the way things are. You are... A worthy host for a mighty being such as I."

Real World

Sayomi pulls back up and opens her eyes to see Nawin has become frozen. Almost in a trance-like state. She also notices that the Draconic mark has receded. "Ahhh!" a enrage shout explode from the side, and Sayomi is send blasting off of the Makasha by a telekinetic force. "Bastard!" Marius comes charging from the right, rage shows clear in his eyes, and it is directing straight at Nawin. "She's mine!" Marius jumps and comes down with his right hand forward, intending to put a hole through the Makasha's head.

Sayomi rolls to her feet and looks forward to having her heart skip a beat when seeing Marius's nails just a mere inches away from the Makasha "Noooo!" Nawin's eyes glow to life, and the slit pupils become visible in the red orbs. Marius's smirk twist into a disbelief expression when Nawin's hand shoot up and snatch his wrist, effectively stopping his attack when the nails were just an inch away from ending the Makasha's life.

"How?!" Marius shouts in a fury and tries to push down, but he couldn't even budge. "Because I refuse to lose to you!" Nawin shockingly shouts back, surprising both Marius and Sayomi since before the only thing came out from the Makasha while in that form is vicious roars and growls.

Nawin brings his right feet up to kick Marius on the side of the head which sends him sliding away. "Ahhh!" Marius bends forward to stop himself and glares at Nawin, seeing him kip up to his feet and turns around for face to face. "I'm tired of this!" Marius shouts and explosively releases his aura.

Nawin sees that Marius is intending to end this once and for all with the final attack. He glances to the side to see Sayomi looking at him and give an encouraging smile. Leaving him to finish this long grueling battle.

Nawin brings his right arm up and looks at the hand, unclenching the fist. Black Lightning cracks into existence until it covers the whole hand. But, it's different from before. Once the pure dark lightning now holds another color in it. Red outlines show brightly in the crackling electricity. Blending with the blacks to create an even more dangerous appearance for the Makasha's signature attack.

Marius clenches his right hand into a fist and begins putting every single ounce of his mana into it. The fist starts glowing in red, matching the same shade as Marius's aura.

Tremors begin erupting in the crater by the amount of mana exuding from the two fighters. The already destroyed earth begins to crack and shatters. Pebbles and boulders start raising by the overwhelming pressure created.

"You'll die here!" Marius exclaims and shifts to Sayomi "I'll show you that I'm worthy by killing this nuisance!" "Oh, Marius," Sayomi sighs "You poor fool... With what you have become. It is honestly mercy on Nawin's part to put you down." "It ends here!" Nawin shouts, gaining the Tepes's attention "I'm taking the grail back and ending your reign of terror! For my friends and for the people of Transmere!"

Marius screams and charges forward "YOU CAN'T KILL ME! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!" Nawin blast forward in a sprint, holding the attack on the side "THEN I'll MAKE IT POSSIBLE! NO MATTER WHAT I WILL PUT AN END TO YOU, MARIUS TEPES!"

The two fighters rapidly approach each other. When in range, Marius thrust his right arm forward "DIEEE!" Nawin push his attack ahead "CRIMSON LIGHTNING!"

The area implodes in the destruction when Marius's fist collides with the lightning. "Gahhhh!" the Tepes scream out in pain when the Crimson Lightning suddenly pierce through his hand like a lance. "IT'S OVER!" Nawin shouts and thrust the attack through Marius's heart.

"What?!" Sayomi utters in shock when the Sephiroth Graal suddenly floats out of Marius's back and drops to the ground. "Ahhhhah!" Marius vomits out blood and slumps. In a swift motion, Nawin rips his arm out and step to the side to have the Tepes collapse face-first to the ground. The Crimson Lightning disperses into harmless sparkles.

Nawin looks down at Marius twitching on the ground and panting violently. Desperate grasping to stay alive. "You lost. I hope the people you killed and betrayed was worth it for this, Marius" Nawin says with no remorse. "N-Nawin," Marius is able to utter with seething tone "Ma-Ma-."

Nawin watch Marius goes cold, and his eyes lose the shine of life. Finally, Marius Tepes has been killed. Nawin shifts his gaze to the bright golden grail on the ground. He strides toward the sacred gear. Slowly, the black aura on the Makasha's skin starts crumbling away into nothingness. With each step taken more starts crumbling to reveal Nawin's humanoid form.

When the aura is all gone what's left is the long flowing black hair. In an instant, it all suddenly morph in black particles that vanish from existence. With that gone, Nawin has all but return to his normal form.

Sayomi watch Nawin stops in front of the grail and smile in relief before he suddenly goes down. She appears beside and catches the boy before setting him gently on the ground beside the two gold cups. Sayomi looks and smiles when seeing Nawin has passed out from no doubt exhaustion.

"Well done, my dear" Sayomi whispers, cupping the Makasha's cheek and smiling warmly "Keep getting stronger like you once said. Be safe." Sayomi raises up and turns around. A black portal rips open from existence. Bats floods out of it and swirls around the Pureblood. Sayomi stops in front of the entrance and glances back at the Makasha one more time before entering the portal. The moment the gateway shuts from existence, the barrier surrounding the crater shatters.

"Nawin!" Akeno rush inside the crater the moment she spots her lover on the ground. "What happened?!" Rias shouts, following the Himejima with the rest of the group.

Everyone lands near the Makasha. Akeno quickly rushes toward her lover's side and pulls him onto her lap. She places her hand on his chest and smile in relief when feeling a heartbeat. "A-ah, he's alive!" Akeno cries in relief and embraces the Makasha, tearing in joy.

The group smile in relief and is able to release the breath they've been holding. "Uh?!" Gasper gasp in surprise when seeing the two gold cups laid beside Nawin "T-that's the Sephiroth Graal!" "Really?!" Issei shouts in shock. "So," Riser shift to the left where Marius laid "He's staying dead then" "It seems so," Rias insert.

Rias kneel beside Akeno to look at Nawin. Seeing him reverted to his normal form. "I don't know how, and you'll have to explain it to us, Nawin. But," Rias grin "You did it." "Seems like I still have a way to go," Issei stops beside the Gremory, looking down at his best friend with a smile "To catch up with you, bro."

Akame looks at her king and can't help but let out a smile in happiness. Extremely relief to see him alive. "Nii-chan would survive," Koneko speaks and gets the Knight's attention "He gave it his all to save everyone. That's why he won. He fought for everyone." Akame's smile widens by the Rook's words "Yes... That's who he is."
