"Jisuk!" I heard my mother call from down stairs. Just one more hit....and...BAM! Just destroyed your character and your new kingdom.

"I bet you didn't see that one coming JamsJ!" I yelled through my microphone.

"No. The crazy LullLin got me this time. That's only because you don't have Kookie or HorseHope up your butt." JamsJ said through his microphone. I heard my mother's footsteps coming up the stairs and got prepared to hear it all.

"Jisuk! Now you promise me you wouldn't play that stupid game until after dinner. And dinner is now just ready." My mom said in a annoying tone. She doesn't like me playing games but our deal was if I keep my grades up and play after dinner she wouldn't mind. Most of the time I behave and listen, but then like today...not so much.

"I'll be down in a second mom. I'm sorry it's just that JamsJ will be gone for the weekend and it's the only time we can play." I said smiling at her trying so hard not to get yelled out anymore.

"Two minutes. I'm giving you two minutes, if I don't see your face in the kitchen in two minutes I'm taking it away." She said closing my door. Damn. My mother can actually be scary at times.

"I've got to go. Tell me all about your trip to London next week okay." I said.

"Will do captain. Till later LullLin." JamsJ said clicking off. I turned off my computer running downstairs. My older sister was already sitting at the kitchen table reading a book. I sat beside her peeping at her book, she soon caught me staring and immediately slammed it shut.

"Stop getting into my business." She hissed like a snake. Growing up me and my sister where close but as we got older she just started ignoring me for her friends. Yeah we do have a nine year age gap but we use to be so close. I tease her a lot but truthfully I really miss her, I mean we use to be my best friends. Now we can barely be in a room together without her claws coming out. And when I mean her, I mean usually her.

I looked back at my mother who was putting dinner on the table. Once the table was filled with amazing aroma and beautiful looking food she sat down across from us grabbing a plate. She loaded her plate down with food before setting it down in front her. Both me and my sister watched as she took a big bite of her food.

"What about dad?" I asked as I watched her stuff her face. We always wait for dad to sit at the table. He's always busy but he always makes sure we eat dinner together as a family. During dinner he'll ask how we are and talk with my mom. I miss spending time with him but I understand last year he got this big promotion and since then those dinners rarely happen anymore.

"Dad's boss is having a hard time with his cancer so your dad is taking his extra shifts for awhile. We probably won't see him for a little while." She never looked up at us but I could still tell she was hurting. I know my dad's boss is very sick but can't they get someone else to fill in his shoes. I mean my dad is already there from 5am to 5pm. And even after that he's still working at home. I feel like I've lost him as well. The only soul I have around here is my mom. But looking at her now I think I've lost her as well.

After dinner I helped my mom with dishes and went to my room. I closed my door turning off all lights, then I closed my curtains and walked to my desk. I opened the bag of gummy worms I hid and started eating them as I turned on my computer.

Killer Hearts is the new and biggest online game at the moment. The game works by you first finding a team. You can only get on the team if they find you strong enough. For my team I had to beat the caption which was Rmonster. I have to say he was extremely difficult to beat, but then again I'm LullLin. I'm the strongest female character there is. In real life I'm not to much. You can say boo, and I'm running for the hills. But I think that's what gets me coming back to this game. I'm not me. I'm LullLin. A strong female character who isn't the typical damsel in distress. I'm everything I'm not in reality.

I clicked on the game first looking around but soon found nothing. None of my teammates were online so I started playing with other characters. Or should I say other people online.

One person had the username of Adeth. I wonder what that means. His information says he's from Germany. Maybe it means something in German. I clicked on his character typing a message.

He replies late which is weird but I ignored him for I remember how Taebae is pretty weird himself. We choose a battlefield set in China which is my favorite at the moment. My character was dressed up in beautiful Chinese clothing with her hair long and straight. He was dressed up himself wearing a mask on his character. Not that much about his character just the fact he is wearing a black and red mask. Which is starting to creep me out the more I stare at it.

I wonder if he looks like his character. I made mine look like me, long brown hair grayish brown eyes, and she even has one little freckle on her left cheek just like me. It's really cool how you can get the characters to look like you, or to not. It always makes me wonder if the people I fight on here really look like they do in real life. Or did they creat the person they wish to be.

"So um. Hi." I said through the microphone. He didn't speak. I thought I could at least hear his voice but he started typing instead.

Was all he typed. Oh! I'm hope I didn't come off rude. I one mistaken a person named Nastu for a boy when really it was a girl from Japan. She got really angry at the misunderstanding by just one little mistake.

The game started flashing bright numbers making me just back to reality.

Fight!

Before I could even make one move he was already attacking my character. Can the game even keep up with him, let alone me? I started fighting back and giving me a great advantage is that my character has a frost bite. She can blow a frost bite from her mouth making her opponent frozen for a minute. It's really cool and comes in handy. I took in a deep breath, in the game and in reality before blowing the frost bite. His character immediately froze for only a second. He started to melt. My mouth dropped open.

He's fire.

I've never fought anyone who has fire. I'm star struck. But I was also afraid. He's really strong. I looked up to my lifespan and saw only forty-five percent left, while he still has seventy percent still remaining. I made my character do a backflip and then slashed him with my sword. But he dodged it! How?

He typed.

Oh..a smart ass are we. I quickly hit him again this time making sure I actually hit him. His lifespan was down to twenty-two. Just one more hit.

"Oh yes!" I yelled as I killed his character. I'm still the best. LullLin is still the best!

The way he wrote kill you was kinda scaring me. If he wrote something like destroy your character that would be one thing, but he wrote kill you. Maybe I'm be paranoid. Yeah Jisuk. It's just a video game. That's all.

A second later he completely clicked off leaving me alone. I looked over noticing Taebae and JMario were online. I clicked on their icon letting them know I was joining their conversation.

"Hey what's up guys!" I yelled through my microphone.

"Nothing. I just got through repainting my room. So I'm sitting on the floor." JMario said.

"My cat is drinking my soft drink. Is that a good thing?" Taebae said.

"Probably not Taebae. And what color did you repaint your room JMario?" I asked.

"A soft pink." JMario replied.

"Wait I thought you were a boy?" Taebae asked.

"I am! I-I just happen to like the color pink." JMario mumbled.

"There is nothing wrong with liking the color pink JMario. I bet your room looks great." I said.

"It does." JMario said

"My cat is now eating my pizza." Taebae said.

"Your cat has issues Taebae." JMario said laughing.

"Did you feed him this morning?" I asked. It took him a few seconds to reply making my enter mother come out.

"No." He mumble.

"Then get up right now and go feed your cat! He's probably really hungry. You have to stop forgetting to feed him or he's going to die." I snapped.

"Don't die Lion! I'm sorry I didn't feed you!" I heard Taebae cry out. I heard a meow and then I heard him leave. Both me and JMario started laughing at Taebae.

"He named his cat Lion." JMario laughed.

"I think it's cute. It's unique." I replied.

"Okay I'm back. He's eating right now." Taebae said

"Good. And put a alarm on your clock for around ten in the morning to feed him. That way you won't forget to feed him everyday." I said.

"Okay. Will do." Taebae said.

"So how's your day been LullLin?" JMario asked.

"Okay I guess. Just went to school, came home, and ate dinner. Nothing really special with me." I lied. Truthfully I'm one of the most popular girls in my school but I really don't care. The only reason why people like me so much is because I'm kind and nice. I'm always there for people even if they aren't for me. My heart is just to pure. I can't be mean to people, it's a weakness of mine. I'm always to nice. Opening doors for strangers even if in Korea most people don't do that. I'll give my food to my friends if they ask, even if I'm hungry. If I'm walking and I see a stray dog or cat I'll get it some food before walking on my way. It's just who I am.

"LullLin you need some excitement in your life. Do you have a boyfriend?" JMario asked.

"No. And that's not excitement, that's trouble." I quickly replied.

"Love is special. It's something that is beautiful and sweet." Taebae said. I could feel his smile from behind his screen. He's like a little kid. So innocent doesn't know about the hurt others do to each other.

My parents love each other but I heard all kinds of stories from my mom about her first marriage. The guy she married cheated on her with her best friend. My mom said it crushed her and she never had a friend since.

"I've gotta go for a awhile. Bye guys." I said.

"See ya." JMario said.

"Bye bye!" Taebae yelled.

I clicked off looking at my phone. It's already eight p.m. I walked downstairs and grabbed my coat and shoes.

"Where are you going so late at night?" My sister asked walking down the stairs. I could tell she just got through or was still in the middle of studying by her hair and huge glasses. Whenever my sister is studying she pulls her hair into this messy bun and wears her huge nerdy glasses that sadly both me and her share.

"I'm just going to go get some snacks and juice. Tell mom I'll be back in ten minutes." I replied opening the door. I felt the cold night breeze and pulled my coat closer to me. I started walking towards the nearby convenient store. Only a five minute walk yet in this cold I feel like I've been walking for hours. Once I finally reached the store I felt it nice warm welcome.

"Hey Jisuk." Ilhoon said behind the counter. He was a close friend and classmate of mine. He sat up on the counter jumping over it quickly running to me as I walked into the back of the store.

"Are you going to Junhyeok's party this Saturday?" He asked as I grabbed a grape juice bottle.

"Probably not. You know I'm not a party type of girl." I simply replied.

"Yeah I kinda already thought that. I was just making sure, I-I just thought we could go together." He said.

"I'm sorry." I said smiling. I walked over and picked up two bags of chips that were both probably unhealthy for me.

"So have you been busy tonight?" I asked grabbing a bag of candy last. I usually don't like junk food but I'm really in the mood tonight. I don't know why either.

"A little. A man came in early buying nothing but tampons." Ilhoon said laughing. I started laughing imagining a man doing that.

"Maybe he was buying them for his daughter or wife." I said still laughing.

"Or maybe he's a pervert." Ilhoon joked around. We walked back up to the counter laughing. He jumped back over the counter ringing up my things.

"That'll be seven dollars and forty cents." He said still laughing. I gave him my money as I waited for my change. After he gave me back my change I grabbed my bag and started heading towards the doors.

"See you in school tomorrow Ilhoon." I said.

"See you. Walk home safe. Watch out for the tampon pervert!" He yelled before I walked out. I started laughing again at Ilhoon's funny personality. He's always like this. Joking around about everyone.

I started walking back home when I passed a group of adults drinking. I quickly walked passed them down another street.

"I'm not getting in trouble tonight." I mumbled to myself. I turned around to see a unfamiliar street. But I may get lost tonight. I thought.

I started walking down the dead quiet street. Where is everyone? I thought. I walked passed a pawnshop that looked like it was closed for more than ten years. Graffiti was covering the door and windows. Same thing with a small cafe next door to it.

"Where am? It's like I walked to a different world." I mumbled again.

"Hey!" I heard a man yell. I turned around to actually see a guy around my age holding a baseball bat. Oh shit. I started running until I got to my house. I quickly ran up to my room locking the door behind me. I took deep breaths in and out as I laid myself down on my bed.

Where the hell was that? I've lived here all my life and never been there before. And who was that person? Why was he yelling at me? There was so much I was confused about.

I put my snacks away and then changed into my pajamas. I fell into a deep sleep as I imagine. I was already tired from running that night.

Yeah I cut it off weird but it's pretty late here. So like the character, I'm going to sleep. I'll write the next chapter tomorrow. But good night or good morning!
