Ha Ra's POV

Insomnia.

Gosh, I hate it! Because of this thing I can't sleep. Maybe it's also because Im thinking too much. I just can't stop worrying about my mom. With her condition earlier, I doubt that she's fine.

I try to shift on my bed so that I can get in a comfortable position. In the end, I give up. I get up & go outside. I notice Angel's bed is empty.

It's a bit cold outside. I regret that I didn't bring my sweater along. I hug myself as I shiver in cold. Then I see a jacket around me. The person is behind me so I turn around.

"Hello, ma shy girl."

I narrow my eyes at Kai, "What are u doing here?"

"I just take some fresh air. What about u?"

"I can't sleep."

We stay silent after that for some minutes.

"So... how's life?"

I just shrug, "Same old. Working, Paying bills, school, visit mom. Technically surviving life."

He looks at me with amused face, "Interesting life u have right there."

I hums, "Thanks, I guess."

Then we keep on chatting while sitting until we fell into a comfortable silence.

No One's POV

"Erm... Kai?"

"Hm?"

"Why do u hate ur parents so much?"

He turns serious at the question. He looks at the sea as he answers,

"My parents always abandons me. They always cherish & love my big brother more than my sister & I. Maybe because he's the eldest & the one who will inherits my parents' company that's why they love him more. I began to accept it & live happily but then one day everything goes wrong...."

Flashback...

A seven year old Jongin is wondering around the house only to see his brother with a girl, hugging on the sofa. They seem drunk. Little Jongin goes to his brother. He grabs his brother's trousers repeatedly, making his brother turns to him.

"What?!" Jae In shouts, annoyed with Jongin's action.

Jongin seems shock & scare at his brother outburst.

"H-hyung, w-where's Hyo noona?" Jongin asks quietly.

"I don't give a f*ck about her! And go find her by urself! I don't want to see ur face ever again!!"

Jongin starts to cry as he's scared with his brother's rage.

The girl wakes up & turns to Jae In,

"What's happening? Auw, cutie don't cry. Jae, is this ur little brother? He's so cute!" she squeals as she pinches Jongin's cheeks.

"Yeah, yeah whatever... I just wanna sleep..." Jae In replies.

"H-hyung..." Jongin just doesn't gives up.

"What?! Im trying to sleep here!! Get the f*ck out of here!" the brother starts to kick the little boy. Jongin cries harder as he is physically & mentally hurt.

"Get out!"

"Oh Jae In, don't be mad at him. Jongin cutie u can go to ur room." the girl said to Jongin.

Jongin just nods, walking limpingly as he mumbles, "...Jae hyung doesn't loves Jonginie anymore..."

Jae In heard him, "Who the hell loves u? U are just a worthless child! If mom is not pregnant that year, she wouldn't have u!"

"Jae In! shush..."

Jongin is taken aback by his brother's outburst. When he looks back at the living room, he sees his brother & the girl sucking their faces off.

End of flashback...

After that my wounds were treated by the maids. My parents doesn't even ask me about the wounds. That was the day I start to hate my brother. In front our parents, he acts like an angel but behind them, he's like the devil from the darkest hell. I try to get my parents' attention by be a good son and active student. But all my achievements didn't get my parents' attention. Only his achievement gets my parents' praises. At first, I hate it. I want some attention from my parents too. But now, I just accept it. If they don't care about me, then I would not care about them.

Sometimes I feel Im not worth it. I mean, it is true as Jae In hyung said years ago. Im just a worthless child" Kai finishes his story, wiping the tears of frustration from his face.

Ha Ra looks at Kai, sympathize. She holds both Kai's hands that hides his crying face.

"It's their lost that they didn't see the potential in u. U are a great dancer, a charming guy & a brilliant student. U have many talented skills. So just live happily."

"Thanks.... I guess." Kai said, trying to stop his sobs.

"But I still think u shouldn't just be a rebel kid to get ur parents' attention. U have to show to them that they are wrong. U can be success in ur life with ur own will. So never give up on them, okay?" Ha Ra smiles at Kai.

Kai smiles a bit, " O-okay..."

"Erm... Ha Ra?"

"Yes?"

"Can u keep our meeting here a secret?" Kai said, embarrass that he just cry in front of Ha Ra.

Ha Ra whom notice Kai's discomfort smiles brightly, "Okay!"

Kai's heart starts racing fast when he sees the genuine smile. He wondered why...

"Thanks for hearing me out."

Ha Ra nods, "I think we need to go back now. It's getting late."

Kai nods, following behind Ha Ra.

Kai also wonders how easy it is for him to tell about his parents to Ha Ra.

'Maybe cuz shes a comfortable friend...'

Kris' POV

I can't sleep. So I go to the kitchen to get some drink. That's when I heard strange sound. I start to get cold chills as I think about ghosts. Nah, there's no ghost in this penthouse! So I search for the sound.

Then I see a black figure at the living room when I walk past it. The creature is sitting at the corner of the room, making noise.

I can feel goosebumps all over my body but I braven myself to approach the creature. I slowly walk to the creature.

The intense atmosphere is killing me. I walk nearer to see.... a girl crying... to be exact.... Angel is crying?? She is hugging her knees as she cries.

Sheesh... I am scared for nothing. But... why is she crying??

I put my hand on her shoulder, startling her.

"Hey, are u okay?" I asks her.

She keeps on crying. I dunno what to do so I just pat her shoulder.

"It's ok. Everything's going to be alright."

A few moments later, Angel stops crying but she still hiccups.

"T-thank y-you."

"It's okay. That's what friends do right?"

Angel's POV

"T-thank y-you." I said to Kris.

I'm so embarrass that he sees me in my venerable state. Actually, I keep on thinking about my problems. I'm so glad that Kris & I are friends again, sort-of. But now I have another problem. BIFGER PROBLEM! I just realised that I have a crush on Kris. But I know we are just friends. Well, its better than enemies. Its not like he likes me. I mean, who likes me? Even my parents hate me... Gosh why do I have to live in complicated life?!

"It's okay. That's what friends do right?"

Yeah friends... That's what we will always be.

Kyungsoo's POV

"Kyungie, this is my childhood friend, Yugyeom. Yugyeom, this is my boyfriend, Kyungsoo."

I knew from the beginning that the guy is bad news. After we introduce ourselves, Dina & the guy catches up, and completely abandoned me. I swear, I see evil smirk when he looks at me.

Aish... I just hope things getting better after this.

Luhan's POV

"Oppa, help me!"

"No."

"Please, oppa! Please~~~~"

".... I'll think about it."

I sigh, thinking about Rae Na's favour. She asked me to be lovey dovey with her when L is around. This is her plan for making her ex-boyfriend, L jealous & then they will get back together.

I sigh again. Do I HAVE to do the favour?....
