The hallways become silent as Melody patrols the hallways.
Whispers............

It's her. Yeah. She's pretty but rude. I will stay away from her. Me too.........

Melody keeps on walking ignoring them while Cyan tries her best to catch up. (She is the vice president )

Suddenly Melody stops. She turns her head towards the boys lockers.

Melody : Why is the floor here so dirty.

Cyan : No idea.

Melody : Who was on cleaning duty? !
Girl : I... I was supposed to clean. I am sorry!

Melody : Aren't boys supposed to clean this place?

Girl : I am fine with it! I'll clean this right away.

Melody : No!  Where are the boys who were supposed to do this job.

Boy : We are here! What are you gonna do about it, girly!

Melody softly turns and looks at a group of bad boys . She stares at them with a cold, expression less face.

Melody : Clean this up. Now! !

Boy : No way we are going to do that.

Just then HE enters the scene.

Ren : Come on you guys. Do as she says all ready.

Melody : I don't need your assistance.

Ren : At least be a little thankful.
Melody : You are Hakurye Ren right?

Ren : yes, so?

Melody : If you are so interested in assisting people then assist these not so gentle men in cleaning this mess.

Boy : Didn't you hear? We aren't cleaning.

Melody turns and walks away.

Cyan : Sorry to say this but clean or she'll go for the kill. If I were you I wouldn't be saying no.

Saying this she also walks away.

Boy : What the hell... She'll probably have me expelled or something. I'll just have to do it....

.......... (time skip ). ............

Ren's thoughts: What does she think she is? I wasn't supposed to clean but she made me. What's her problem ?

Ren is walking through the empty corridors after the school was out. He had some club work to do. He suddenly stops when he hears someone talking. He hides behind the wall and listens to the girl talking who he knew was Cyan.

Cyan : Melody! Why can't you be nicer to everyone.
Melody : This is none of your business. I am who I am.

Cyan : You weren't like this and you know that! You were once nice and sweet. Why can't you just forget it?!

Melody : Shut up!  This is who I am now. I can't forget it. I don't understand why you wouldn't leave me. You are no longer my friend!

Cyan : because..... I promised her to be by your side forever. You know that we are childhood friends and that's the truth.

Melody : I don't care what she said! I want to stay alone!! Your presence is only irritating! 

Saying this Melody walks away.

Cyan : Melody......

Tears roll down Cyan's cheeks.

................. (time skip ). ........

Ren is lying on his bed with a cat on him.

Ren's thoughts: So the president has a hidden past? If she wasn't so cold before , what made her become what she is now? She is totally a mystery.... I bet a smile on her face will certainly look good and it won't hurt... things might go a little more smoothly if she just asks everyone nicely.....hmm.......

Suddenly, a boy enters his room.
Usui : Yo Ren! I'm here!

Ren : Hey, there's a thing called knocking!
Usui : whatever. You do remember that tomorrow is our concert at school right?
Ren : Of course I remember.
Usui : Hey,  you also cleaned the boys locker area today right? It was hilarious! All your fan girls were cursing the president.

Ren sits up, holding the kitty in his hand.

Ren : Seriously! I hate her! Stop talking about her! 
Usui : Well it can't be helped you know. President has her own reasons.
Ren : You know her?

Usui : Not exactly but she was in my class in middle school. she has changed since then alright. To be honest, I even had a crush on her back then....

Ren : Why would she change then? You know?

Usui : Nope, I did hear something happened  between her friends and then she left the city. She had two best friends,Cyan and another one who's name I don't remember. All three of them left the school around the same time...

Ren : I wonder what would have happened.....

Usui : No one knows. Anyway, why are you so interested?

Ren : No reason.

Usui : yeah right.

Ren: Lets do what you're here for!

Usui: Okay, okay...

Usui hands him the lyrics for their new song. They often write songs together.

Later on Usui leaves .Ren does his routine work and then goes to sleep.
