Almost three weeks later......

Principal's office:

Principal to her assistant : It's time.

Lora (Assistant) : Mam , shouldn't we ask her first?

Principal: We will but after we have already signed for it.

Lora: I have a feeling she'd say no. I think we should tell her earlier. What if we have to back out?

Principal: * Sigh* I guess you have a point. But this is very important for both, School and Melody.

Lora: I'll call her right after your meeting ends.

Principal: Sounds good to me.

............. At the same time in corridor.... 

Melody is standing with Cyan currently in a very unique situation:

The Boys who got beaten up badly came all the the way from hospital to apologize for what they had done.

One of them: Furukawa-Chan! Natsuki-Chan!... WE are soo sorry for what we did but now we realize it. You opened our eyes. We have become good people now. We beg you for forgiveness!!!

Other boys nod.

Whispers.........

Melody: Stop acting weird. You are attracting too much attention. Get lost.

Cyan: Don't be so rude now. Please stop doing that . It's embarrassing.

Boy: WE ARE SOO SORRY NATSUKI-CHAN!!!!

Melody: This is totally annoying.

Boy: We just want forgiveness......

Cyan: Please stop it. Melody, forgive them already.

Melody: I'm not the one who should forgive them. It's in your hands. Meet you in the class.

Melody walks away.

Boy: Natsuki- Chan!

Cyan: UH!.... Please stop this.. I forgive you! Okay..?

All boys: THANK YOU , NATSUKI-CHAN!

Cyan: This is awkward!

Cyan runs away.

Later on in class;

Ren always sat on the last seat next to the window. In front of him sat Usui and next to Usui sat Cyan. Melody sat next to Ren . At first Ren ignored her but now he couldn't help but stare at her from the corner of his eye.

Ren's thoughts: Man! She is so... something.... I mean she has something in her that's so... so attractive. There is so much I don't know about her..... and soo much I wanna know...

Melody's thoughts: How annoying!  What's his problem? He keeps on staring at me. What does he think he is?......

Cyan's thoughts: Is it just me or Melody is radiating a very DARK Aura specifically because she is annoyed?

Teacher: Ren-kun! What is the solution of this question? Ren-kun? REN!!

Ren:............(still thinking)

Teacher: Ren! WOULD YOU PLEASE STOP STARING AT MELODY AND ANSWER ME?!!

Ren: Huh?! What?!!

All the students start to laugh. Ren tries to explain but is interrupted by an announcement .

"Student Council President Furukawa Melody , The principal want's to see you. Please meet her in her office."

Teacher: You should go Melody-chan.

Melody: Okay.

Cyan: Should I go with you?

Melody: No it's fine.

Cyan: Okay.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

Principal: Come in!

Melody enters.

Melody: You called?

Principal: What's with all the formality? I'm your aunt. Have a seat.

Melody sits on the sofa. Her aunt sitting in front of her with Lora beside her.

Melody: You are not my aunt at school.

Principle: How rude.

Melody: Reason you called?

Principle: Fine fine, we'll get on the business.  You see... are you familiar with the Ruler School Competition?

Melody: Not much. 

Principal: It's an Idol competition.The top 5 schools take part in it with their female representative school idols or idol group. The winner becomes The Ruler school. It has the authority of possibly doing anything. They rule all the other schools and can expel their students even if the problem is minor. Like if a student of our school gets into a small fight with their students, our student will be expelled. 

Melody: Okay so whats the reason of telling me this?

Principal: *sigh* For years our school has been the Ruler school and I made sure that this authority would not be miss used but last year our third year school idol Misaki Haguro lost the competition against Saika High School's First year student, Karin Memoko. Indeed Karin is amazing. Misaki now has been graduated and Karin is a Second year school idol. We need a school idol to participate. We have to win no matter what! 

Melody: What's with the winning desire?

Principal: Saika High is using these authorities in a wrong way. Their students constantly bully our students especially girls. No one can say a word because They are Ruler School students. We are specifically being targeted because we cant even take part in the competition. At this rate we are not going to stay on top. Considering Karin's ability, Saika will obviously win unless we can bring someone better. 

Melody: So, I'm supposed to beat the crap out of them?  

Lora: No No No No! That's not it!

Melody: Then?

Principal: You are not that dumb now are you?

Melody: I guess you are right.

Principal: Melody, This is a request. Please become our School Idol. We know how amazing you are. With you on our side, we'll definitely win.

Melody: All this year you were waiting for me instead of looking for another school idol?

Principle: No one's willing besides no one's good enough. There are only 3 weeks left in the competition and no idol is allowed to do concerts during this time. Only You can make everyone your fan in the first 10 seconds of a song. Your concert at the competition would be enough.

Melody: I'm glad but.... I don't sing anymore. My past was something else and now I'm someone totally different. No matter what you say but I won't sing. Please let this discussion end here.

Lora: But Melody!

Principal: You won't let go to your past. But..... anyways you should go now. Please consider what I said. We...this school needs you. That's the real reason you transferred here.

Melody: I'll take my leave.

Melody leaves the office.

Lora: We are doomed!

Principal: No we aren't. The flame of Music still burns in her heart. She'll do it.

Lora: I hope.

......

Melody's thoughts: Every time I try to move forward I...... I won't do it! I mustn't! What would Nagisa think? After what I did to her..... Forget about it Melody! Just forget! Control your feelings like you always do.

It's already lunch break. Melody enters the class. There are a few students in there.

Cyan: What happened?

Melody: Nothing in particular.

Cyan: Okay then time for regular petrol around the school! 

Melody: What's with the cheerfulness ?

Cyan: Nothing in particular.

Melody: Don't copy me!

Cyan: Whatever..... Anyways... Why was ren staring at you today?

Melody: Because he is annoying and if you want a better answer then ask him and not me. Not that it bothers me .

Cyan : Yeah right...

Melody: What's with that face?

Cyan: Nothing in particular.

Melody: Quit it!

............. It goes on.......

Ren's thoughts: What could it be? Why was she called? I am worried.... It's not like she'll tell me. Maybe it's because off the incident 3 weeks ago.... I hope not...
