Finally, The day of the competition arrives.

Students attended school because the competition is going to begin at 7:00 pm.

Melody and Cyan are walking through the corridors.

A girl: Best of luck for tonight Furukawa-chan!!

Melody: Thank you.

A boy: We are counting on you.

Cyan: Don't worry one bit!

Just then, Magumi (Cheer leader captain whom Melody saved) comes running towards them with her other team members. They are all dressed up.

Cyan: Magumi!

Magumi: Hi!

Melody: You should be in your uniform.

Magumi: Nah!!! We are practicing.

Cyan: For what? There aren't any events coming.

Magumi: For today!! I owe you guys one and for that, You can count on me and my friends to cheer you on!!!

Melody: Thanks... 

Cyan: Yeah, you are the best.

Magume: No problem! Gotta run!! *Leaves*

After that they walk past the art room and see giant banners and posters made just for Melody.

Cyan: Things surely turned out differently.

Melody: I wasn't expecting all THIS.

Cyan: Everyone believes in you!

Melody: I know.....by the way... where's Ren?

Cyan: Are you missing him?

Melody: No! It's just that the way he's so annoying, he should have come to meet me first thing in the morning.

Cyan: Sorry to disappoint you but he's not here. Actually none of the band members are here.

Melody: Why?

Cyan: As the winners of Rock Live Competition last year, they were invited to perform at the competition. They went to rehearse there.

Melody: I see.

Melody's thoughts: So I won't be able to see him now till my performance.....

Cyan's thoughts: I'm soooo excited and nervous at the same time!!!

Finally the time for the concert arrives.As Melody and Cyan reach the Arena reserved for the event, they realize that this is no small deal.

Cyan:  This place is Enormous!!

Melody: It is....

Cyan: 3D Background screens, those laser lights and that gigantic stage! I'm so gonna faint.

Melody: *Sigh*

Cyan holds Melody's hand.

Cyan: Nervous?

Melody:.... Yes..... I never imagined it would be this high level of competition.

Cyan: I know... I'm nervous too. It's just like your first concert.

Melody: I never imagined that I could feel this feeling again.

Cyan: Melody, Let's do this!

Melody: *Nods*

Just then the principle walks to them.

Principle: So you are here. How are you feeling?

Melody: ....Nauseous and a little dizzy.

Lora (assistant): Oh NO!! Should I bring some medicines?

Principle: No, I think she's just fine. Any ways, Lora, take them to  the dressing room.

Lora: Right! Follow me girls.

On their way, they meet a green haired girl coming from the opposite direction.

Girl: Well, Well, Well, If it isn't Furukawa Melody.

Melody: That uniform of yours and the way you talk, tells me that you are Memoko Karin.

Karin: BINGO!!!

Cyan: Melody, we need to hurry.

Karin: Oh come on! Her performance is last and mine second last. We can have a little chat.

Melody: I'm not really that interested.

Karin: Too bad. I heard you got into a fight with our student council president and the out come was quite interesting .

Melody: Indeed it was.

Karin: Don't get your hopes too high. I kill with cuteness.

Melody: Of course you do but then... is that enough?

Karin: Can't wait for your performance. May the best win.

Melody: Indeed.

Glaring at each other.

After this, Melody, Cyan and Lora leave.

In dressing room;

Lora leaves Melody and Cyan alone. Melody almost begins to get ready when there's a knock at the door.

Cyan: Come in.

Ren enters the room.

Melody: Ren! *Surprisingly happy to see him*(Obviously she doesn't smile)

Ren: Hi, I was worried so I thought..

Cyan: It's perfectly fine.

Melody: .......

Ren: Oh! and Melody, someone's here to meet you.

A girl with long black hair and crutches enters the room.

Cyan: Nagisa!

Melody: N..Nagisa?

Nagisa: Long time no see Melody.

Ren: I thought it would be best if Nagisa-chan was here.

Melody: N..Nagisa, I...

Nagisa: You've changed Melody. and so have I.

Cyan: I was expecting you to show up.

Nagisa: Of course I'd come! It's my friends performance we are talking about.

Melody starts to cry.

Melody: Nagisa, I can't explain how sorry I am. It's all my fault. I destroyed everything and I couldn't even apologize.

Nagisa: It was just an accident but if you want to take the blame so badly then yes IT WAS ALL YOUR FAULT YOU GOOD FOR NOTHING GIRL!!!!

Cyan begins to laugh and Ren smiles.

Melody:.....

Nagisa: I am angry because you never came to visit me and you owe me many birthday gifts. Oh, and I loved that music box.

Melody in between crying: I.. know right?.... I.. loved it too.....

Nagisa: Yeah..... Melody, please don't worry about it. When Cyan told me that you are performing again and also that secret of yours, I practically jumped out of the bed! Doctors say that I can leave these crutches in a few months too. I can't dance or anything like that but still if you do that for me then it's enough. It's all thanks to you...

Melody: I'm so glad. Thank you for being with me. I love you two.*Wipes her teas but still doesn't smile* But what's with the secret?

Cyan: NOOOOTHING~~~~~~

Melody: This is fishy.

Nagisa: Of course it is.

Ren: I think it's the moment when you guys hug and forget all of it. *Brings out a camera*

Cyan: Yup!

Melody: No way! It's too embarrassing!

Cyan gives her dear friends a hug and Ren snaps a photo.

Melody: Hey you!...

Just then, Nagisa snatches the camera from Ren and pushes Melody towards him.

Melody bumps into him and their eyes meet. Immediately, Melody moves away and Nagisa snaps a picture.

It turns out something like this;

Nagisa and Cyan look at the picture.

Cyan: Now that's an expression Melody!

Nagisa: Such a cute picture, it deserves to be framed!

Melody: No way! Delete it right now!

Cyan: Never.

Ren: Can I have the camera back?

Nagisa: Sure. *Hands it over*

Melody: No, delete it first!!

Ren looks at the picture.

Melody: You! Delete it right now!!!!

Ren: Hmm...... I...think I'll keep it.

Cyan: Yes!

Melody: Not you too!!!

Ren: You can fight me later. Right now get ready because you don't have much time.It's time for my performance too.

Cyan: He's right.

Melody: Fine.... But you'll pay for this!!

Nagisa: We get it, we get it! Now go and change.

Ren opens the door to leave but stops and turns his face.

Ren: Melody, Watch me.

Melody: ......

Ren leaves.

Cyan: Wonder what was that about?

Melody:.......

Ren's thoughts: I got mine and Melody's first picture together! I hope  she doesn't mind. Today I'll sing for her and I know my song will reach her heart!

Melody's thoughts: That picture..... I don't know why but I wanted that picture too. I'm so stupid! Why am I acting like this? UHHHHH!! He's so annoying!

Ren's Band begin their performance. Melody is watching it while getting ready, through the screen in her room. She smiles as she hears those lyrics.

Melody's thoughts: Thanks..... I will!

Nagisa: Are you complementing him by any chance?

Skip the first three performances.

Now it's time for Karin's performance. The crowd is going crazy.

Karin announces;

Everyone ! Watch me! Worlds cutest idol is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crowd:

Yay!!! Karin!!! You're the best!!! We love you!!!! WE are watching you!!!! Go for it!!!!

As her performance ends, the crowd is filled with applause. Everyone is cheering for Karin.

The glow sticks were glowing in the sea of audience but a certain group of people was dark. Those were the students of Airi high. They were uncertain of their feelings.

One of them: She was amazing.

Another: Can President really win.

Another: It's impossible! We'll lose.

Another: Yeah, there's no hope!

Cyan, Nagisa and Ren with his Band members are also there.

Ren turns to his school fellows.

Ren: Stop it! I know Karin is good but... Melody knows what she's doing. I am not certain too but I believe in Her!

Cyan: Please! Believe in Melody! She is better, She can do this. I know it!

Nagisa: Melody will win!

The host: Oh My God! As always, a brilliant performance from Memoko-san! I'm a fan!!! The crowd decides their winner after all!

But not just now, the Last performance of the evening, The student council president of Airi High School, Furukawa Melody is still a mystery. Never has she shown herself before and it is her first concert. Is she better than Memoko Karin?!

And what's this? No one knows about her and the sea of Fans is DARK. But only her school fellows hold the glow sticks high. Is she ready to face this challenge?

Melody doesn't appear on stage yet but speaks in her Mic.

Melody: It's okay.... As long as even a single glow stick glows, I'll sing.

Saying this, she begins her performance. Much to everyone's surprise, she was a total different person.

As expected the crowd was cheering for her by the end of her performance. The audience were fired up and everyone was shouting her name. 

Host: This is amazing! Such performance! I have no words.... Let the judges decide but they seem speechless too. It was a PERFECT performance!

As for Ren and Other students of Airi high, their mouths were dropped open. 

WHO IS THAT FAIRY? AND WHERE DID THAT DEVIL GO?

Cyan and Nagisa were less surprised. More like emotional.

Nagisa: I'm so happy.

Cyan: Me too. I'm glad she's back.

Nagisa: Good work with that dress.

Cyan: Thanks. That's my thing after all.

Ren: S..she... was..amazing...

Ren's thoughts: That was out of this world. My heart's beating so fast, seeing her singing, dancing and smiling like that! She was a total different person. I like her even more now. Is it even humanly possible for someone to be THIS AMAZING?! I think I've fallen for her hard. That smile of her's.....

Melody's thoughts: I... I did it! I really broke all my walls and it's all thanks to him. I'm so glad. It's good to smile after a long time. To be yourself.

Karin's and Saika High's Student Council President's reaction;

Nagato (President) : W..What the HELL was that?!

Karin: I don't believe this! She is out of this world!!!

Nagato: It can't be! I can't lose the bet! This is impossible.

Karin: Is she a professional?! The way she turned the game around, How...?

Nagato: No.....way..

After 15 minutes; (Judges needed to decide the winner)

Host: And now, Ladies and Gentle men! The moment we all have been waiting for... The winner of this year's R.S.C is............... Furukawa Melody from Airi High School!

Nagato: Damn it!

The place was filled with applause.People were yelling out her name and Cyan and Nagisa were crying from joy.

Melody climbs up the stage once again. She meets up with her aunt,( the principal ) on the way to the trophy.

Principal: I'm proud of you.

Melody: I did what was my duty.

Principal: Will you ever change?

Melody: No.

Principal: Knew it.

They both walk to the judges. One of them Hands Melody the trophy.

Host: Congratulations, Furukawa-san. Is there something you'd like to say to your fans?

Melody holds the mic.

Melody: Thank you. *MOST BEAUTIFUL SMILE EVER*

After that, All the students from Airi High School climb up the stage celebrating their success. Every one was happy.

In this crowd, Melody manages to find Nagisa and Cyan. She actually was looking for Ren.

Melody: Hey..

Nagisa: You were absolutely awesome!

Cyan: I love you!!!

Cyan hugs her.

Melody: Yeah yeah I know.

Nagisa: It felt very nice. Thanks for being yourself Melody.

Melody: I can't be more happy. I'm so glad. There's nothing more I can say.

Cyan:Okay but there has to be something you can say to the guy standing behind you.

Melody turns to see Ren.

Melody: Ren!

Ren: Um... A.. Um... You were great !

Melody: Y..Yeah... Thanks. Um.. Your song was great too.

Ren: Really? Thanks....

Both were AWKWARDLY NERVOUS.

Cyan: What's wrong with you two? You guys aren't Dating yet! What's with this nervousness?

Melody: Like HELL it's gonna happen!!! Think before you speak!

Nagisa: Leave them alone Cyan. Come with me.

Nagisa drags Cyan away.

Melody: She is annoying sometimes..... Ren, Thanks for your help. I couldn't do this with out you.

Ren: No, I really just wanted to be friends.

Melody:  Friends? Well, as long as we are on good terms.... we can be friends.

Ren: Huh?

Melody: You've done so much for me so it's the least I can do. I owe you.

Ren: So this is the nice Melody I've heard of.

Melody: May be.

And with that, they shake hands.

Ren's thoughts: Finally! At least she classifies me her friend. My feelings for her increase every moment. I wonder what she's thinking now?

Melody's thoughts: I'm thankful to him but there's some thing else too that I feel. My heart beats so fast when he's around. May be I'm falling for him........ NO! He's so annoying.... He's like anyone else. No way I like him!!! YUCK!!! Why did that thought even cross my mind!
