JESS SKIPS OUTSIDE, SITTING BESIDE HER FRIENDS AND TAKING HER LUNCH OUT OF HER BACKPACK.

"Hey, Adam!" She says, sitting next to him.

He looks at her, and smiles. "Hey Jess! I'm glad you made it to school today! Where were you earlier?"

Jess' smile falters. She didn't want to talk about what happened.

"Umm....my mom woke up late and I couldn't wake her up! She's a heavy sleeper. Sorry!" Jess lies through her teeth. She laughs nervously. Adam gives her a suspicious look before going back to eating his lunch.

"Hey guys! Sorry I was late to lunch. My teacher kept me in for some reason." A familiar voice says. Adam and Jess look over. Jess smiles.

"Hey Ross! How was class?" She asks.

"Boring. As usual. Why weren't you there for social studies, anyways?" He asks.

"My mom slept in." Jess says blankly. Ross gives her the, 'I know your lying' look. She ignores it, continuing to eat her lunch.

"But you walk to school, don't you?" Ross asks her. All the blood drains from Jess' face, and she stopped instantly.

She hears footsteps coming closer and she feel a hand on her shoulder.

"Are you okay, Jess?" Shelby chirps. Jess nods slowly. Ross crosses his arms.

"Whatever you say, Jessica..." He mumbles.

THE BELL RINGS, AND CHAD WALKS INTO HIS NEXT CLASS.

"Hey Chad! How was your class?" Doll (Dollastic) asks him in her high pitched voice. He had gotten used to it by now.

"It was good. How was yours?" He replies.

"It was good! Do you know what class Audrey is in? She wouldn't tell me." Doll asks. Chad shrugs. He had absolutely no idea. She had never told him either.

"Well, class is starting so we better pay attention." Chad says, paying attention to the teacher who was writing their assignment on the board.

CORY STARES INTO SPACE, DRUMMING HIS FINGERS ON HIS DESK.

He had never really paid attention in class. He mostly just say there, thinking.

"Cory? Cory? CORY?" Uni whisper/yells at him.

Cory thoughts shatter as he looks at Uni.

"What do you want?" He asks.

"You dazed off into space and I was just checking if you were alright." Uni replies. Cory rolls his eyes and lays his head on his desk.

TAL WALKS TO HIS NEXT CLASS SILENTLY.

"Hi Tal!" His friend, Micheal, says, walking beside him.

"Shut up, Micheal." Tal hisses in annoyance.

"Why should I?" Micheal asks.

Tal sighs, walking away from him. Then he feels someone nudge his shoulder.

"What do you want, Anthony?" He asks.

Anthony frowns.

"Why are you so mad?" He asks.

"Please leave me alone, I want to be by myself." Tal says, ignoring his question.

"Fine." Anthony says, walking off to find Micheal.

"Now, knowing my luck, Matt or Ellen are gonna come." Tal mumbles.
