"One pepperoni with mushrooms pizza, extra cheese" someone ordered dropping a $20 bill on the counter. I could have sworn I've heard that voice before. It sounded so familiar.
I turned around to face him but I couldn't recognize him though.

"Be right up with your order sir" I said taking the money he had dropped in the counter and turned back to go get his order.

"By the way, how is your friend?" He asked tapping his hands on the counter.
It was now it hit me. It was that same strange guy that gave Jason and I a ride to the hospital.
But how did he find me and what was he doing here.

"Excuse me?" I pretended I didn't know what he was talking about. He suddenly stopped tapping his hands and gave me a dangerous hateful stare which made my heart skip.

"Uhm....you mean Jason right?...uhm....he's fine thank you," i said nervously and quickly rushed to the cooking room without sparing a second for him to say another word.
But when I returned with his order, he wasn't there. He was no where to be found.

"What a strange being," i thought to myself.

It was getting late and has been a hard working day at work. Made more deliveries than usual.

Riinnnnng
"Hi Em, how are you doing, just calling to make sure if you can still make it to dinner tonight," it was Tyler, I almost forgot about his dinner invitation.

"Yeah of course, I'll be there," I said assuring him.

"Cool, see you soon," he said and I hung up to finish up with the store and close up.

But the strangest thing happened. I didn't know if I was seeing things but I was 100% sure it was a human figure I was seeing on one table facing down.

"Excuse me, who's there?" I asked nervously moving closer to the place.

"Please sir, how can I help you. We're closed," I was beginning to get really scared, I felt chills run through my body as I swallowed my breath.

"But u haven't gotten my order yet. And I believed I've already paid you," he said slipping out his hand and let out a piece of paper. But still faced down.
I took it and opened it slowly.

One pepperoni pizza, extra cheese.

It was still that strange guy JJ. What could he possibly want from me. I was so sure he didn't just come back by this time just to ask for a pizza he ordered since morning.

"Am sorry but I can get your money back. We're closed. Or you can come back tomorrow Sir," he finally looked up immediately I said that.

"Am sorry I left without notifying you earlier, but I had some emergency to take care of. Isn't there anything in the house that is already prepared?" He asked calmly which made me more at ease. Maybe he wasn't here to kill me after all.

"Sure, I can hook you up with something but you're gonna take it to go, I have a place to be right now," I said managing a nice smile and he nodded.
I quickly went to the kitchen to find something he could take to go. But I was looking over my back the whole time to make sure he was still there.

I found a packaged Burger that was a mistaken order and didn't have anyone to eat it.

"Here you go," I said dropping the burger I had packaged for him and put in a nylon expecting him to just leave already.

"Thank you, you can keep the change," he said standing up from his chair and I began to praise God in my mind.

"Say, Emmi right? ....so....where is your friend now, did you tell him I said hi?" He asked with so much curiosity.
Now I was sure he definitely wants some information on Jason and I wasn't going to give him any no matter what.

"Uhm....I don't know," I said walking towards the door to lockup but he caught my right hand and pulled me back.

"What do you mean you don't know huh?" He asked getting furious. He really has some anger issues and needs to work on it, because I hate getting yelled at.

"I don't know where he's been for days now. So please can you leave now? I've got a place I really need to be right now," I said boldly and a little sassy.

He looked at me for a while trying to figure out what to do next and my heart was beating, I hope he really leaves.
He then finally stood up and left with the food without saying another word.

"What a weirdo" I said to myself.

I finally got to the cafe Tyler had asked me to meet him at by 9:15pm sharp. A little late I guess.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I heard a voice ask from a corner with rage. I turned around but only to see Emma staring furiously at me with her arms folded.
I didn't see Tyler anywhere.

"What do you mean what I'm doing here? You don't own this place," I said leaving her to find a sit for myself.
I looked around and realized we were the only ones in the shop.
I decided to wait patiently for Tyler,and in about 15mins, he was finally here.

"You made it. Thank you so much for coming," he said giving me a hug and a kiss on my forehead.

"You're finally here, what took you so long, and what the hell is she doing here? And what are you doing with her?" Emma said as she walked towards us.
I looked at Tyler and saw a deceitful look in his eyes and quickly realized what was going on, He had set us up.

"You two calm down OK? I'll explain everything to you in a second. But first, I'll need to ask you two some questions," he said calmly and sat down drinking a bottle of water.

"Ha! ..and what makes you think I would stay in the same room with her. Even being in her presence is already making me want to pweek," she eased and took her purse about to leave but Tyler quickly grabbed her by the hand not letting her go.

"Come on Emma, just give me a chance to fix things between you two. She hasn't done anything bad to you for you to act this way. You're overeating," he said with a little bit of rage and impatience in his voice.
She then pulled her hand away fiercely and rolled her eyes before finally sitting down folding her arms.

"Good," Tyler said sitting back down and I did too.

"Emmi, what is Emma's favorite color,food, movie and song?" He asked seriously.
I didn't get why he would be asking me something like this. What was it going to prove.

"Red, pizza, Titanic, and Titanic," I answered sarcastically.

"And Emma, can you answer the same?" He asked facing Emma.
But she sighed angrily before answering.

"Pink, pizza, Titanic and Titanic," she answered sarcastically too.

"Look here Tyler, I've got homework to do and I don't have time for silly pop quizzes like this. So I'm leaving," she said and stood up abruptly.

"And why would I want to be friends with her again, so she can be blowing me off and be taking me for granted again just because of that good for nothing, Jason," she said staring like she was furious and hurt.

"Look Emma I'm really sorry about that trust me. It was an unpleasant time and I couldn't....," she interrupted me.

"Save it. I don't want to hear any more shit from you. You'll always run back to him the second he steps back into your life.
And as long as you'll always be friends with him, then you can forget about us.
I'm even surprised you can be so dumb to fall for her pretty face.
She'll run out of your life the second Jason comes back, she's just using you," she said to Tyler and then took her purse and walked out furiously banging the door.

"I'm sorry Emmi, this wasn't what I had in mind. I really thought you two had some good friendships going on there," he said sitting down looking disappointed.

"Is OK. It wasn't your fault. You couldn't have changed her mind if she didn't want it to be changed.
And you don't need to worry about me having friends. I've got you and my mom, and I couldn't ask for anything more.

I said giving him a counseling hug patting him on the back.
He smiled at me gratefully and hugged me back.

He drove me back home and gave me a nice suiting kiss before leaving. Honestly, I was really getting used to him and enjoying his company. But whenever I'm alone, is only Jason I can think of.
