During class, Tyler starred at me a few times. But whenever our eyes met, he would frown and look away.

Immediately after the class, I didn't spare a second. I ran after Tyler.

"Hey!!! Wait up. What's wrong with you." I said as i chased after him but he was too fast.

"Tyler!!, come on talk to me. What did I do wrong?" I shouted from behind hoping he would stop at that. But no, he didn't.

So I ran faster and cut up to him. I pulled his hand and held it firmly not letting go.

"You wanna tell me what's going on?" I said trying to make him turn around and face me.

"What do you want from me. Don't act as if you don't know what you did. You've made your point and I get it, so just stay away from me OK". He said furiously but a little bit hurt.

" what are you talking about, what did I do?" I asked still confused.

"Really? Look Emmi I don't have time for this, I've got important things to do" he freed his arm and sighed.

Now I was just staring at him with confusion. I didn't want to loose him. He was important to me. We've really grown fond of each other for the past few weeks and he has been very nice to me.

"Fine!! Leave !!!go do whatever it is that is more important than me" I said sadly. Which made him feel a bit guilty.

"I tried calling you through the weekend but your number was not going. I sent you a couple of text and you didn't reply any. I guess you were too busy having fun with your lover boy Jason" he started calmly but got a little upset when he spoke about me and Jason.

"That's impossible, I never got any text from you or call." I said with assurance.

"So you think am lying then, or you think am just making things up. .....whatever Emmi. You were never worth the trouble in the first place" he said and turned to walk away. But I stopped him by grabbing his hand again.

"Tyler! ..." I paused a bit till he turned around.

"What is it now" he said pulling his hand away fiercely.

"I don't know what happened and I never said you were lying. But I promise you I didn't get any text or call from you. I tried calling you too but it wasn't going through" I said convincingly.

"Oh now you're trying to mock me?" He asked pointing a finger on his chest.

I didn't know what to believe. Was he really telling the truth or he just doesn't want to talk to me.

"Emmi...."

"Yes?"

"Did you block my number?" I kept quiet as he asked that. Why would he even think like that.

"If you didn't want me and didn't want to talk to me, you could have just told me " I could tell he was really hurting after saying that.

By that I knew what he meant. He wanted an answer from me to be his girlfriend.

He waited a few moments for my answer before turning to leave.
I didn't know what to tell him, I only liked him as a good friend.

I was speechless for a moment But I wasn't about to loose him. There was only one thing I could do to make him stay even though I didn't want it.

"Tyler... !!!!" I paused and waited for him to stop walking away.

"I want you, I need you OK. Please don't go.  Stay with me" i shouted so he would hear me. And for some reason, my eyes were now filled with tears.

He means a lot to me. And has been there for him. It would be unfair to let him just go like that with the worst impression of me over a little stupid misunderstanding.

He turned as I said that. I knew it was the only way to keep him. I didn't want to hurt him.

"Oh wow...you're full of surprises. Because your lover boy has finally used and dumped you and finally moved on to another hot chick, now you want me as your second option." He said with a bit of sarcasm in his voice.

"What are you talking about. And Jason is not my lover boy so stop calling me that please" i replied But curious about what he meant by Jason being with "another hot chick".

" and nothing ever happened between Jason and I. So I don't know what you're talking about. And what's this about using and dumping me and moving..... " he interrupted me before I could finish.

"Jason and Lucy are together. They're dating" he said boldly.

I couldn't believe it. He must be lying this time. But in a way I believed it. It was Jason we're talking about here. The biggest Playboy in the school.

I faced my head down a little. My eyes were red and I was about to cry. I didn't know what to think or believe anymore.

"That's not true" I said trying to convince myself to believe in it. I sobbed a little which I ended up regretting. I was in front of Tyler who I was just trying to convince that nothing was between Jason and I.

"So you do care if he was with someone else" he said with disappointment.

"No I don't. I didn't have anything with Jason ok" I said trying to make it believable, but I wasn't fooling anyone. It should in my face, my expression and my emotions.

"Why will you stop lying for God sake. I saw everything and he told me everything OK. I have evidence" he said furiously. But I didn't know what sort of evidence it was he said he had.

"What are you talking about. What evidence. Am talking you nothing happened between us. We just hanged out at his fathers place, played a few games and went him. That was it. Nothing else ok" i said trying to assure him.

"You're pathetic, your so terrible at lying. Do you really wanna see?"
He said bringing out his phone to show me something.

Damn it!!!!! Damn hiiimm.

Jason!!😡😡

It was a photo of Jason and I kissing.
How  d he take that picture when we were kissing. Now he used it to turn Tyler against me.

I felt so embarrassed seeing that picture. After all i had told him that nothing happened between Jason and I.

Now he must think that am the worst liar ever. He must hate me now.

"No Tyler wait, I can explain, is not exactly what it looks like. Well it is what it looks like. Like we were kissing but that's not the point. is not what you think" I said trying to explain. Explain what I didn't understand. Damn it.

"You still have the guts to talk" he was really hurting. I could see his eyes turning red.

"Tyler....I..I.." No words came out of my mouth.

"Just what I thought"
He said and walked away.

I couldn't believe what just happened. It all happened just too fast. Tears ran down my face as I watched him walk away. I never knew I cared about him this much. Or was it just. Because I was afraid of loosing him as a friend.

I lost him too.

"You look so miserable girl. I told you it was not a good idea for you to go after my Jason. I warned you."

I heard someone say standing in front of me. It was non other than that Lucy. And did she just call Jason "her Jason?"

" yeah you heard right. Jason is now mine so you better back off bitch." She said so excitedly, she seemed very happy and in a good mood. But it was still a warning. I have to stay away from her guy.

"And get that face cleaned up. You look like a hideous crab monster with your face and makeup all ruined" she said throwing a clean white small towel at me.

She laughed and went away with her two panthers following her like two lost sheeps.

I lost Jason and now Tyler. But I wasn't going to give up, mostly on Tyler. Though I could tell he was upset and hurt at the moment but I know he'll come around. He'll forgive me.
