"See you later babe." Candy said as she got out of the truck.

as I watched her walked into Candys Nails her nail shop.

I hated to see her go but I loved to watch her leave especially when she's in a sundress.

As I pulled off my phone started to ring it was Jerry I decided to put him on the car phone since it was just me.

"Whats up." I said.

"Hey, are you free right now?"

"Yea I just dropped my wife off,whats up?" I asked.

There was a pause.

"Are you alone...?" he asked.

"Yea I am...," I told him.

"Good can you swing by North and Palmetto and pick me up so we can talk."

"Sure," I said.

What is up with him.

(Chanel pov)

"So you don't know who Miracle is?" I asked

Devin shook his head.

"I'm sorry sweetheart but no I don't."

"What about my momma how do you know her?" I narrowed my eyes at him.

He grinned.

"Chanel I've haven't seen your mom since High school." he told me.

I slumped back and crossed my arms.

"I'm sorry." I said.

I was about to reach over and grab my purse when his hand touched mine.

"Its ok but hey maybe I could help you find your sister I know some people at the courthouse who could pull up some information about her or something."

I thought about it

"Sure," I said but keep this between us I told him.

"I sure will." he smiled as I walked off.

"Hey man, I said to Jerry as he got in the truck.

"Hey, he said in a low voice.

"Whats wrong with you?" I asked.

He sat back in the passenger seat.

"I need you to help me with something?"

I raised my brow.

"What do you need help with?" I asked.

"To get full custody of my daughter."

I looked at him confused.
"You only have one daughter Alexia and shes....
