(Candy pov)

"Momma can I get this?"
I heard Cody ask me I turned to see he was holding a big box of bacon.

"Boy, what are we going to do with all that bacon," I said

"There's a lot of things you can make with bacon." Tristan added.

I looked at the both.

"Come on Cody lets go find a twelve pack of clippers so you can finally cut your hair ," Tristan joked with Cody as they walked off.

Chanel, Kiara and I continued walking through the store.

"Mom why do we always shop in bulk?" Chanel asked.

"Its called saving money." I said as I was on my tiptoes trying to reach a big box of cinnamon crunch.

I almost was about to grab it.

"Here let me get that for you." a deep voice said in my ear.

I saw it was Devin I haven't seen him since that night at City Hall.

"Thanks, I said as he handed me the box of cereal.

"No problem," he said with a smile on his face.

"So how you been?"
he asked me.

"I've been good I didn't know you shopped here," I said kinda of surprised I never seen him here before.

He grinned..

"Well bulk is best." he chuckled.

"It was nice seeing you," I said as I was about to walk off.

"Hey, he said stopping me.

I turned and looked at him.

"I hope I'm not crossing the line but would you like to have lunch tomorrow."

"You know I'm married right." I said raising my brow.

"Yea I know I'm not trying to do anything just want to catch up." he told me.

I made a face.

He slipped a card in my hand.

"If you change your mind here's my number and just let me know," he said with a smile on his face.

His eyes were looking behind me.

"Who are these two lovely ladies." he said.

I was caught off guard for a second as I didn't realize Chanel and Kiara walked back up to me.

"These are my daughters Chanel and Kiara," I said.

"Well they definitely have they have your beauty he said

Ok...

"It was nice seeing you," he said and then walked off.

After he left I seen Tristan and Cody came up to me and the girls they had a basket full of junk food.

"You ready to check out?" Tristan asked.

"Yea I am," I said as I tossed Devin's number into the bottom of my purse.

(Chanel pov)

"Do you really think this guy wants mom ?" Cody asked.

I was sitting in my bed and Cody was sitting at my computer desk.

"Yes, I'm sure he asked mom to meet for lunch tomorrow and gave her his number."

"Do you think mom is going to meet him tomorrow ?" He asked.

I wasn't sure.

"She didn't seem interested but he isn't going to see her tomorrow." I told him.

"How do you know...'

"Come downstairs its time to eat!"
I heard mom shout from downstairs.

Cody got up and left.

I was still sitting on my bed as I grabbed the card out off my dresser next to me and looked at the card.

This guy definitely knows something about this Miracle.

I quickly sent Devin a text and then walked downstairs.

Do you think Candy is going to take Devin up on his offer?

Will Chanel stop Devin?
