I was sitting downstairs with my sisters waiting for dad to get home and mom was upstairs.

"Dad needs to hurry up and get here Uncle Damion just texted saying he is on his way." Chanel complained.

I looked up from my phone that I just got back earlier today after being grounded for two weeks.

Chanel was wearing a pink dress.

My phone ringed I looked at it and it was dad.

"Hello, I answered.

"Ask dad if he's on his way?" Chanel asked.

"Are you guys ready?" he asked.

"Yea, I said ignoring Chanel and Kiara's pleas to talk to dad.

"Ok good I'll be there in a few minutes."

After that, the call ended.

"Why didn't you let me talk to dad." Chanel said.

I looked at her.

"Calm down dads on his way and will be here before uncle D gets here with party van."

Then we heard the sound of the front door unlocking followed by dad walking into the house.

He was in a red shirt and black pants.

"No hugs from my babies." he said holding his hands out.

"We are not babies today is a sixteen birthday dad," Chanel said as she and Kiara walked up to him and gave him a hug.

I smiled.

"Yea dad were not babies anymore, I said as I walked up and gave him a quick side hug.

After that, he went upstairs.

We see bright headlights flash into the room through the window followed by honking.

Then Chanels phone went off and she looked at it.

"That's uncle Damion he's here and he said hurry up."

Its been twenty minutes since dad went upstairs.

"Lets just text mom and dad and tell them to meet us there." I said.

Chanel threw her hands up

"Ok, that works for me."she said.

Then me, Chanel and Kiara walked out of the house.

(Tristan pov)

"I told you we still had time to do something before the party." I said as I was buttoning up my blue t-shirt.

I looked over at Candy who was in a black bra and panties sliding on a pink dress.

"Yea we had time but we would've had more time if someone got home sooner. "She teased.

"You ever tried sitting up for a rooftop party and I had to pick up some money." I told her.

As we were finished getting dressed I checked my phone to see a text from Chanel.

Hey uncle Damion is here we left with him.

"Well, the kids left with Damion."

Candy looked at me surprised.

"They left already?!"

I nodded.

"Well come let's go, Candy said I grabbed the car keys and followed her out of the room.

"Promise me you won't say anything to Jerry, Trina or Damion about the whole Meldoy situation.

I was walking behind him up the stairs all the way up to the roof It was a lot of stairs.

Why did we agree to a rooftop birthday party?

"I promise but I still don't think its right to keep the fact Meldoly is not Damion's daughter a secret from Damion."

"I know baby but tonight is the kids birthday party lets just focus on that, for now, " he told me.

We were standing in front of the door to the rooftop I could hear music booming from the other side of the door I turned and faced him.

"Ok, I promise not to say anything but he still needs to know." I said.

Then we opened the door and walked into the party which was filled with a mixture of Chanel, Cody and Kiara's friends, pink and blue balloons, streamers and tables were all over.

My eyes quickly went over to Jerry and Damion who were talking to each other.

"Don't say anything babe," Tristan whispered in my ear over the loud music.

"I promise I won't I said as we walked over to Damion and Jerry.

"Hey, Jerry said.

"Hey, Damion you brought the second cooler right the one with drinks for us right?" I asked while I ignored Jerry.

He looked at me confused.

"Yea its over there," he pointed to another cooler by one of the tables.

"Ok, I said then I walked over to the cooler and grabbed a wine cooler out.

As I stood back and took a sip I looked and seen Chanel was in a circle talking to her friends and Cody was goofing around with his and Kiara was talking to Melody.

My phone ringed.

I answered it.
"You guys are here?" I said over the loud music."

"Ok, I'll be down to get it."

I moved through the crowd and walked down the building stairs and meet the caterers at the front of the building to get the birthday cake it was in a white box I opened it to see a half pink half blue sheet cake. Is said Happy Birthday in white frosting.

"Ok this is good," I said as the caters got in their white van and left.

I went back into the building and started walking up the stairs as I was almost back up at the top I heard.

"You bitch!"

I turned around to see Trina was standing behind me on the stairs I didn't see her come in behind me.

I looked at her.

"Excuse me?"
I said.

"You really going to let your husband work with Jerry to take Meldoy from me."

I looked at her she was clearly drunk.

I took a breath.

"I have nothing to do with that."

"Yes, you do all because you don't like me."

"I'm not doing this on my babies birthday you clearly need to leave I told her."

I turned and was about to go in when I felt her pull on my dress. I put the cake box down so this bitch wouldn't make me drop it.

"What the fuck let me go!"

"No not until you agree to help me win this case so I can keep my daughter!"

"This has nothing to do with me!" I shouted.

I turned around and Trina was pulling the bottom of my dress still I was trying to not let her pull me down but I felt my heels starting to slide.

This crazy bitch was about to make both of us fall down the stairs.

"Trina let me go!" I shouted as I was prying her hands off me but her grip was too tight,

"No!"

"Let me go!" I ended up flinging her hands off me and she ended up falling back head first down the stairs.

My eyes fell in horror as I seen her lifeless body laying on the bottom of the stairs.

Was Candy wrong for the way she handled Trina?
