I was laying in bed next to Candy when I heard our bedroom door open I knew it was Charlie my German Shepherd as I could hear his footsteps came over to my side of the bed. He started whining

"Go take him out," Candy said turning over her eyes were still closed.

"Ok,"I said not really in the mood to get up especially since it's cold outside now. But It's better than Charlie taking a shit in the house.

I rolled out of bed and got dressed in sweat pants and a sweatshirt and through on my black coat with my boots, it was damn cold. I quickly got Charlie's lease and started going downstairs as I peeped into the kids rooms they were good. Once I made it out of the house I was immediately attacked by the ice cold air that hit my face.

After walking a block Charlie decided to stop and went to the bathroom. As I was standing in the cold waiting I pulled out a cigarette from my coat light it and started smoking it. Across the street I noticed Meldoy walking down the sidewalk
narrowing my eyes once Charlie was done I causally crossed the street and my way to her.

"Hey,"I said.

She jumped up surprised her eyes were wide.

"Hey Uncle T what are you doing here?" She asked surprised.

"I'm a grown man.what are you doing out here is the question?"

"I was just...."

I put my hand up I knew she was about to lie and I didn't feel like dealing with that at three in the morning. I noticed she was walking from the gates.

I narrowed my eyes.

"Does your dad know your out?"I questioned her.

"No he's at work," she told me.

"Well he's gonna know now follow me," I ordered as she moved in front of me as Charlie and I walked behind her. From the corner of my eyes I seen a grey car I would deal with that later.

"You sit on the couch," I ordered as I took Charlie off his leash even he had his eyes on her. I made my way upstairs to my bedroom all I heard was the sound of vomiting.

"Are you ok?" I asked making my way to the bedroom

Candy stood up in front of the toilet.

"Yea I'm fine I think that burrito gave me heartburn and fucking with my stomach."

"Did you take some tums?"

"Yea I did not too long ago,"she said taking a deep breath then went to the sink to start brushing her teeth.

"Oh ok hey you know where Damion works at?"

"Yea he works at a janitor at Mercy," she answered.

She turned to me.

"Why you want to know?"

"Cause I caught Melody sneaking out and I think she was with Tyler."

"Tristan don't start no shit Melody can stay here until Damion get off in the morning and as far as Tyler go just leave him alone."she snapped.

"Ok I'm fine with Melody saying here I said sitting in bed but I'm not fine with still coming here."

Candy sat down on the bed next to me laying her head on my shoulder

"Well what are we going to do?"

"Me and some of the guys can jump in my truck with some bats find him and beat the fuck out him." I said

"Your joking right?"Candy asked

I wasn't joking.. not even a little.

"What's wrong with that?" I said.

"Hi vote for Tristan if Not he will beat the fuck out of you," Candy said mocking me.

I snapped my fingers.

"I like that I want that on a tshirt." I joked.

"I'm so done with you I'm going back to sleep,"Candy laughed.
