*8 Months Later*

You woke up quietly to see Lexi still asleep. You lifted the blanket carefully and saw her fully developed pregnant form and was expected to give birth at any day now. You kissed Lexi's tummy and then her lips until you got up and looked at the scars on your arm and knee from the surgery. You rubbed them and shook your head before heading downside and started to make breakfast when the dogs and Larry Steve came over to you.

You: Goodmorning you crazy critters.

You patted all of their heads and continued to make breakfast for you and Lexi until you heard the bedroom door open as you see your pregnant wife carefully making her way downstairs and couldn't help, but feel bad for her.

You: Goodmorning

Lexi: Goodmorning

Lexi sat down as you kissed her.

Lexi: I barely slept last night.

You: I was gonna say, you look....

Lexi: Terrible?

You: I was gonna say exhausted.

You then turned and finished making breakfast as you served Lexi her veggie omelet and poured her some orange juice.

Lexi: Thank you. This looks great.

You then put your omelet on a plate and poured yourself some orange juice and joined Lexi.

Lexi: I invited Becky and Fergal over today for a visit. They want to see how I'm progressing with this.

You: It'd be good to have some company over, I mean, it's been a couple months since we had company with me getting my knee brace off.

Lexi: At least the cuts on your face are gone though.

You: Yeah, but the scars on my body tell a different story.

You and Lexi talked for a while longer while you two ate breakfast and later spent the day with Finn and Becky.

*Later that Night*

It was around 3 in the morning when you woke up to the sound of screams to see Lexi in pain.

Alexa: Y/N!

You: Lexi? What is it?

Alexa:........ the baby's coming!!

You: Shit! Alright, let me get everything ready!

You sprung from bed and got Lexi's bag ready when you suddenly helped Lexi up from bed and got her downstairs to the car as quick as possible.

Lexi: Y/N! The bag!

You: I'll be right back!

You ran back into the house and grabbed Lexi's bag and both of your phones before getting in the car and drove quickly to the closest hospital.

*Later*

You and Lexi arrived to the hospital and got all the paperwork taken care of as the doctor and nurses all wheeled Lexi into a room while you followed close behind them. After getting Lexi, in a room, the doctors and nurses all went to work quickly.

Lexi: This is it.

You: Try not to think about it. I'll be with you the whole way through.

*4 Hours Later*

Lexi grasped onto your hand tightly when she was about to give birth.

Doctor: Ok Lexi, we've done all we can! It's time to push!

Lexi gave one big push as she groaned in pain.

Doctor: Ok Lexi, you're doing great! Keep going!

Lexi pushed again hard when she groaned in pain again.

Doctor: Ok, I see the head! One more push Lexi!

Lexi looked at you with fear in her eyes.

You: You can do it Lexi! I love you!

Doctor: Come on Lexi! PUSH!

Lexi took a deep breath and pushed harder than usual until she screamed in pain and fell back into the bed, tired and exhausted until you and her heard crying.

Doctor: The child has arrived! Let's get it cleaned up!

One of the nurses took the baby to clean it up while Lexi looked up at you tiredly.

You: You did it babe.

Lexi: I can't.... believe.... we're parents.

You: Trust me, you're gonna be a great mom.

Lexi: And you're gonna be an awesome dad.

The nurse then came back and gave the doctor information on the baby.

Doctor: Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Y/L/N. Lexi has given birth to a healthy baby boy.

You and Lexi looked at each other in excitement when the nurse handed him over to you.

You: Hi buddy.

Lexi: He looks just like you.

You then handed him over to Lexi when he opened his eyes to the site of his new mother.

Lexi: Hi, I'm your momma.

Lexi pressed him across her chest when you kissed Lexi's forehead and then the baby's forehead.

*Later*

You smiled at the comments on your Instagram until you heard a knock on the door to your room and opened it to see Becky and Finn.

Becky: Hi!

Becky hugged you before you hugged Finn.

Finn: Where is the little goober?

You: He's right over here.

You walked over to the crib and picked up the baby to show him to them when you handed him over to Becky.

Becky: Oh my god! He's so beautiful!

Finn: Just like his daddy.

You: When did AJ and Wendy say they'll be here?

Finn: In a few minutes.

*Later*

Wendy: Oh! Look at you!

AJ: Beautiful baby dude. Congratulations.

You: Thanks you guys.

Suddenly, the doctor came back in and asked an important question.

Doctor: Do you have a name for this little guy?

You looked at everyone as Lexi smiled and nodded.

You: You wanna meet them? Ok....... Everyone.... Meet Alan Fergal Y/L/N.

AJ and Finn chuckled and smiled in excitement as Wendy and Becky excitedly looked at each other knowing that your new son is named after both AJ and Finn when they both hugged you.

You then gave Alan to Lexi when she kissed his forehead and held onto him with care while the doctor went to finish the paperwork.

*2 Days Later*

You and Becky helped Lexi into the backseat after gently setting Alan in his carseat before you, Becky, and Finn got in the car and drove home. Once arriving, AJ and Wendy were at the house to help with Lexi and the stuff for the baby as you picked up Alan from the carseat and carried him inside while Wendy and Becky helped Lexi in and AJ carried in some stuff for the baby while Finn did the same. After Becky helped Lexi down into a recliner due to Lexi being on her pain meds.

Lexi: God I feel like crap.

You: You still look amazing though.

You kneeled down next to her and gave her Alan when he grabbed Lexi's finger when she kissed his head.

Lexi: I love you too. I love you too.

You went over and helped AJ carry in the rest of the stuff and set it down near the living room entrance.

AJ: Is that everything?

You: Yep. Thank you guys very much.

Wendy: We can stick around for a little longer if you guys want. Me and AJ don't have anywhere to be right now and we can just chill with you guys.

Becky: Neither do me and Fergal. We've had a couple of busy days.

You: That'd be great actually. Lexi and I could use the company.

You and the guys then joined Lexi and the others in the living room and continued talking and telling stories until nightfall came around and everyone had to leave. After they all left, you carried Alan up to his crib while Lexi carefully got into bed. After putting Alan down to sleep, you joined Lexi in bed after she put on the baby monitor and the both of you fell asleep, thinking about the future.................
