Chapter 20
"Now I present to you the graduating class of 2018," The principal says.
Everybody in the audience claps as we make our way onstage. I look out into the crowd and see Chad and Fallon. They're both grinning widely. Next to them I see Alan, Brycie, and the girls. They all look really happy, and they're clapping.
On the other side of Chad, I see Caleb, Kelsey, and Joey. They have the biggest smiles on their faces.
We sit down, in alphabetical order, and the principal calls names. Soon I hear my name, "Alexandria Graham."
I stand up, and walk across the stage. "That's my girl!" Chad shouts. "I'm proud of you kiddo!" Caleb exclaims. Joey belts out a sharp whistle. Alan claps, and cheers.
I take my diploma, and sit back down. I never thought the day would come when I would actually finish high school. I couldn't have done it without the guys though, they all tutored me, helping me to understand everything. I'm so grateful God put them in my life when he did.

"Alex! I'm so proud of you!" Chad exclaims hugging me. I giggle, as my feet get swept off the ground. He plants a kiss in my hair, then everybody else congratulates me.
"GUYS! There's cupcakes and pizza waiting at my place!" Joey exclaims. I cheer, "Yay! Pizza!" Joey and I race out to his car.
"Ha, I win," I happily squeal. "I let you," Joey tries to reason. "Nu uh!" I exclaim. "Whatever, lets just go," Joey says.

"Guys! We should watch Toy Story," Chad says. "Okay! Yay!" I exclaim. "That movie's upstairs," Joey says.
"Caleb to the rescue!" Caleb exclaims dashing upstairs. "Geek," I mumble after he's gone.
Caleb returns with the movie, and we all get comfy on the couch. We eat pizza, and cupcakes, and drink soda throughout the entire movie.
After the movie, Chad and Fallon take me to the mall, and buy me a new laptop as a graduation gift. My other gifts were books, mainly devotionals, and Alan got a me a Chick-Fil-A gift card, he said it would be my lifesaver in college. Although, it'll probably be used up by then.
College. I decided I didn't really want to move far from home. I'm taking a few classes a week at Tennessee State University. Hopefully, with my job at Chick-Fil-A, I can save up for a car.
Once home, I transfer all my files from my old laptop, which Matt bought me, to my new one. It feels good, I've been wanting to get rid of the old one for years now.
We have a game night, and basically just eat ice cream, and play wii or board games. It was nice, I love our family nights. Although, I know Chad isn't my blood-dad, and Fallon isn't my blood-mom, I love them like they are. Even better, they love me like I'm their daughter.
"Night Chad," I say, feeling exhausted. "Wow, first night of summer vacation and a 9:30 bedtime, you're a party animal," he says sarcastically. "Hey! I just graduated highschool, and I'm tired! It's not a crime!" I exclaim.
He smirks, "Okay. Goodnight love you." I hug him, "Love you too." Fallon hugs me too, "Goodnight sweetie, we're both so proud of you! Sweet dreams." I smile, "Love you guys, night."
It's summer vacation, but I still go to bed early, tomorrow will be my first day as an "adult". I can't wait to experience this new adventure with my family, and with Christ.
