I decide to trust him, since he's my only hope right now. "Fine, just let me get a few things from my apartment." He nods.

I get into his car, and Chad drives me to my apartment. "Oh I'm Alex," I quickly introduce myself. Once there, I walk inside and throw a ton of clothes and shoes into some bags. I pick up my computer, and race back out to Chad's car.

"You'll love me place," he says, "I have dogs! Oh, and you can meet my wife, Fallon."

He's married?! I didn't know that. I trust him a bit more now.

"You can also meet my bandmates, you guys will get along quite well, Alex," he smiles.

"Chad, I just want to thank you. I had been looking for a way out of that relationship. Matt has been an alcoholic, and gotten away with that a few times," I hang my head.

"I'm sorry, Alex. Just remember, you're worth fighting for." I smile, no guy has ever been this sweet to me before.

We pull up to, what I assume is, his house. "All ashore that's going ashore," he says putting his car in park.

I smile, gather up all my belongings, and follow Chad inside. I'm greeted by a large, black dog. "Kale, down!" Chad says. "No, it's fine, I love dogs." I reach down and pet, Kale, who greets me with a lick.

Chad disappears down a hall, and returns with his wife. "Fallon, this is Alex. Alex, Fallon." I shake her hand, It's nice to meet you, Fallon." She smiles, "You too, Alex."

"I'll take your stuff upstairs," Chad offers. "I can take it, if I know which room."

I grab my computer and one bag, and Chad grabs the other. He leads me upstairs to a guest room. It's purple, and decorated with teal flowers.

I gasp, "Chad it's perfect!" He grins, "I figured you would like it." I don't know of it's acceptable of not, but I hug him. He hugs back, and I just take it all in. This hug was gentle, and not forced like the ones Matt used to give me.

"I'll leave you to get settled in, let me know if you need anything," he smiles, and closes my door.
