I sit on the front steps, biting my lip when David's car pulls up. I stand and wrap my arms around myself, praying Delirious will stay true to his word and not hurt him. David parks and climbs out of his car, smiling at me meekly. He walks up to me and grabs my arms, kissing my forehead.

"Hey David" I sigh, hugging him. "Hey Lu. Are you alright?" David asks, looking down and cupping my face. I blush and look down, nodding. "Yeah, I'm doing okay" I shrug, not lying but not telling the truth either. "Thanks for saving me back there" David chuckles, pushing my hair back. "Just don't be cocky during this meeting and agree with Delirious and don't get yourself hurt" I order, going on my tippy toes and kissing David before dragging him into the base.

David chuckles and squeezes my hand, following me as I grab my phone and call Delirious, just like he asked. I bring David to his office and we wait outside the door, though David grabs my hip and pulls me closer. He kisses me softly and smiles, his eyes crinkling the way they always do. "We'll be fine, Lu"

I sigh and nod, seeing Delirious marching towards us. He glares at David before unlocking the door, and the three of us step inside his cluttered office. Delirious leans on the far wall, scowling with his arms crossed over his chest. "D-Delirious, this is David. David, this is Delirious" I say slowly, trying to read Delirious.

"Uh, thank you for not killing me. And for, y'know, bringing me here safely" David smiles, sticking out his hand for Delirious. "I'm not shaking your hand" Delirious growls, making me sigh. "You're gonna tell me everything you know about Luke and what he did to Ohm. Hold back and I will know and I will shoot you. Am I understood?" He snarls.

"Sir yes sir" David says, smiling a little. "You'll stay in the same room as Lui, but if you hurt him, or try to spy on our plans, I will rip out your eyes and feed you to rats" Delirious hisses, stepping closer to David. He puts up his hands. "I wouldn't think of it. This place seems nicer then The Demons, if Lui is any example" David explains.

Delirious grumbles a little but then he sighs, rubbing the paint off of his forehead. "Fine. I'll talk to you both tomorrow, it's been a long day I don't feel like getting even more pissed" Delirious huffs, kicking us out of his office and walking down the hall. "Well he seems nice" David chuckles, getting an eye roll from me.

"C'mon Davy I'm tired too, can we sleep?" I plead, grabbing his hand. "Yeah, yeah of course. Show me where your room is" David smiles sympathetically, squeezing my hand. I nod and pull David down the hall, to my room. We step inside and I rub my eye, rolling my shoulders and hearing them crack.

"Lu, c'mere" David sighs, pulling me back. He spins us and presses me against the door gently, kissing me again. I smile a little and kiss back, leaning against him and sighing. "I love you" David says, making me blush dark red. He cups my face and chuckles, kissing me again. "Like, I really love you"

I giggle and sigh, hugging David tightly and basking in his fimillar scent. "Yeah, I think I love you too" I mumble, giggling when David lifts me up and lays me on the bed. "Now c'mon, let's get some sleep" He says, kissing me one last time.
