TRISHA

Last night has been a mess, it still feels like an a dream to me.
He kissed me forehead!
Okay I know it was a protective gesture.. he is my brother's best friend and might see me as a little sister. because what else ?

Sighing I move towards the table and called my best friend to ask if she is okay. I Talk to her when I heard a knock on my door.

I went to open the door to find bhaiya looking at me.
"Kya hua bhaiya?" I asked confused.

"Tune Kanishka ko dekha?"
I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion.

"No why?"
"Wo Ghar me nhi hai jab mai subah utha to he wasn't in his room either, call bhi nhi utha Raha hai"

"what?" I asked my eyes widening, Where is he?
"Mai use khojne jata hu shayad library me ho, tu use call krti rehna, ye le no." and he left the house in hurry.

Oh God where did he go?
I instantly call him but no response, I called him again and again,
after 8 rings he picked the call.

"Hello?" A drunk voice came through the phone.

"Kanishka? aap kaha ho?" I asked quickly.
"Pata nhi, aap kaun?" he asked his voice rugged
"Share your location " I told him in a stern voice.

"but aap ho kaun" he asked, his voice messy.
"Aap Karo share pehle"
"kya.. kaise"
I told him how to do it.. because clearly he is drunk.

After 5 minutes he shared his location somehow

"Wait there for me, I'll pick you up in 10 minutes" I told him and changed my dress in a minute and booked a cab which came in no time. thankfully.

When I reach the address it was a bar, I went inside my heart thumping against my chest.

Then I saw kanishka on a sofa in the side eyes closed

I rushed towards him.
"kanishka! heyy" I called his name and held his hand, he open his eyes slowly.
"Trisha.." He breathed
"yes, I'm here.. let's go home" I said trying to lift him up but he didn't.

"You're here" he said looking at me in the eye.
"yes I'm here" I repeated.
"you're here for me?" he asked smiling like a kid.

My heart skipped a beat at it.
"Yes. now let's go"
I hold his hand tightly to lift him up but he pulled me on him
I landed right on his chest, one hand gripping his shoulder.. and other in his hand.. my face burned at the proximity.
"Kanishka" I spoke softly.

He removed my hair from my face and tugged in behind my ear.. his fingers lingering on my skin.

My heartbeat increasing every second.

"Kanishka.. let's go" I spoke again, he nodded and started to get up with me.
I took him towards the cab that was waiting..

We reach home somehow, he fall asleep in the car just after entering it. Kid.

I called bhai to tell that I found him he came home before us and helped me taking Kanishka inside.

"Ise aaram karne do, mai abhi aaya.." bhai told me when we exit his room.

"Aap kaha jarhe ho?" I asked.
"Mumma ka call aaya tha 1 ghante pehle hi, kuch documents nikal ke Dene hai Bank se.. important hai mai aata hu" I nodded and he took some documents and left the house.

I went in my room and sat on the bed.

After a while I heard a voice coming from kanishka room, I went to check and saw kanishka laying there on the bed uncomfortably.
I touched his face and found him burning, He has fever.

Oh shit, what do I do?

I call our family doctor.
He came to check on kanishka in 15 minutes

"He's fine... just normal fever.. give him these medicines" and he left.
I order the medicines and sat next to him.
He was asleep.

"Trisha.." He said in sleep.
"Kanishka? are you up?"
no reply.

"Trisha.. don't leave me.. " My heart skipped a beat

I hold his hand softly and placed a kiss on it
"I'm here.. I'm not going anywhere."

I stayed there and fall asleep beside him.

KANISHKA
When I woke up, my head was burning. I looked around and then I saw Trisha beside me holding my hand.

My heartbeat raced seeing her so close.
So she took me home.

A smile crept on my face as I remember how she directed me towards the car.. faded memories.

I bent a little and placed a kiss on her forehead.

"Thankyou Trisha"

I squeezed her hand in mine and stayed like that.
