Blind Reason 

We march along and sing the song

with voices stretched on high

of vanquishing an enemy

who freedom would deny

Peace is where we're coming from

peace is what we want

and do or die it's what we'll have

became their potent vaunt

So brace yourselves we're on our way

bringing devastation

you'll never fight another day

against our mighty nation

And so war's thunder struck the earth

the blood made rivers wide

both hopeful victors and defeated

all swept off in their tide

Was there a lesson in this absurdity

did we make a better place

did we right wrongs of anyone

or did we simply bring disgrace

Our world goes on in spite of us

it's rotations never cease

and its inhabitants cry out for war

to save what they call peace

From the war to end all wars, through WW2, Korea, Viet Nam, and untold centuries in the middle east
