Prologue
"We must do it now or we shall be too late."
The Goddess' words rang true and the ethereal looking palace was plunged into a sense of graveness.
The others seated across the long oval shaped hall were just as tense. Their crows shone and their beauty would have been lethal if a mortal were to see, and yet their postures were stiff, their magic no longer over-flowing.
"We have already selected our champions, have we not?" She addressed the behemoth of a man who sat next to her, his armored body betraying his true nature even further.
He gave a sharp nod.
The chosen seven Sentinels were ready. They would be sent to the suffering realms and fight to protect. Fight till the life left their eyes and their magic depleted. Or until they came out victorious. For losing was not an option.
"Then we must begin."
She stood up and the winged creatures surrounding her did the same.
A portal opened up in the center, with one gesture of her hand, magic so potent it filled the rest of the beings with renewed energy. Energy that had been dwindling for their worlds were suffering.
Each of those ethereal looking Realm Gods and Goddesses of their worlds were powerless in their own rights, drowning under their vows and the power of the dark forces plaguing their realms.
They looked upon the woman then, the one with flowing golden hair and adorned in a dress of silver starlight. Her skin was flawless and her eyes were fierce. It gave the others hope.
"Tynell." One word and the sentry beside her stepped forward. "Let the wars end."
The Chosen Seven stepped forward, decked in similar armors and lethal weapons. Determination flowing in their golden veins, they were trained warriors who would end the wars in each realm they'd be sent to.
For the Darkness of the world had spread too much, the greedy had stepped out of their boundaries and innocents were suffering.
But it was then that they made an appearance, the three Fates.
Before the Goddess could begin.
The words died on her lips, her magic curtained by the overwhelming presence of the Three Fates.
The portal closed and the others gasped in surprise.
Cackling women with shifting features, the sisters appeared out of nowehere.
"You wish for too much." That was Clotho, the spinner of the threads.
"Too soon." Atropos' voice was multi-layered, the one weaving the death threads.
Lachesis - the allotter - smiled but it wasn't truly pretty. "It will change. It must."
The voices merged and the Goddess' eyes flashed liquid gold at the words.
"Goddess you are, but powerless too." Sly fingers knit a thread, needles moving too fast for the eyes to catch as Clotho's voice turned manly.
"Sacrifices, sacrifices." White milky orbs belonging to Atropos met the Goddess'. "You must pay a price for it then, for those you're sacrificing. That is the rule of the universe."
The goddess sucked in a sharp breath at the words and surprised murmurs rose in the hall. But undeterred, she rose her chin. "I understand."
"Then you must pay first."
"You cannot mess with the threads of fate without repercussions."
It is time you allow yourself to accept the truth."
One wouldn't be able to tell which sister was speaking for their voices came out all at once, lips moving in synchronization.
Power rose, and the Goddess was vibrating with it, golden light spilling from her entire being like liquid moonlight.
"Fulfill it. The reason you were made Queen."
"Keep the promise, pay the price. No one else but yours alone."
Then Antropos whispered, her eyes upturned, a pretty face but forked tongue. "Let them all go."
And so she did.
The pieces of her existence.
A hollow Goddess was left in the wake of the Fate's departure now that they'd achieved what they came for, a cacophony of shivering laughs left echoing in the vast hall.
She sacrificed seven that day.
One to the realm of Earth.
One to the realm of the Hells.
One to the God of Love - Eros.
One to the ream of Syniesta - the sea world.
One to the God of Flames.
One to the realm of Ralanta.
And one....
One daughter to the realm of Vammal.

AN~
Well, hello.
This will be a slow process lol. I'm really occupied and can't always get into the right headspace to write. I'll try and maybe if I start this book, your encouragements and comments might push me to get at least one chapter out every two weeks or so. I've also got another book going on the side, though with slow updates but yes.
I'm really glad to be back with the Mystic Bonds world (i've forgotten everything) and everyone who enjoyed and eagerly waited for this last and final book.
There is a lot to be done, mysteries to unravel, love stories to fulfill and all that stuff. But slowly. All in due time. I only hope you stay and won't let me give up. I'm tired, not gonna lie, but I don't want to give it up. I WILL finish this trilogy, so stay with me, hm?
Hope you're doing great. Thank you so much for all your support through the years. I'm truly, eternally grateful. Thank you.
Here's to hoping you'll enjoy this new journey as well.
And hoping you enjoyed this prologue lol. More mystery as usual, I know. But anyways haha. (I haven't written anything except this prologue T_T)
See you guys next time! Take care!
~Sky
