Y/n's pov

I finished taking a shower and was sitting on the bed, drying my hair with my towel, looking through Instagram, while Tom took a shower when I got a text from Elizabeth Olsen.

Lizzie Olsen
Hey, Y/n have you seen the article?

y/n
Article?
What's it about?

Lizzie Olsen
It's about you and Tom
At least I think it is

I put down my towel, I wasn't sure what any of this meant.

y/n
At least you think it is?

Lizzie Olsen
Well I've never actually seen you
But the article talks about "Tom Holland's cousin
It talks about a girl, so I just thought it could be you

y/n
Oh
That's probably me then

Lizzie Olsen
Well here's the article
www.kingnews.com/tom-hollands-cousin/
Remember don't take anything too personally
they don't actually know you

y/n
Thanks, Lizzie
And I won't take it personally

Lizzie Olsen
It's nothing Y/n, just girls watching out for each other

TOM HOLLAND'S SECRET COUSIN SEEN WITH HIM ON CRUISE

By: Karrie King

*I looked at the picture of the author of the article, and lucky me, it's Karen*

Recently, Spider-Man actor, Tom Holland has been claimed to be seen on a cruise, cruising around Europe, however, he's not who he seems.

This Tom Holland lookalike claims to be Tom Holland's cousin. While most are still convinced it's the famous Spider-Man actor, Holland's cousin, Tanner L/n, along with his friends, still claims he's not Tom Holland.

I stopped reading, as Tom walked out of the bathroom, with just a towel.

"An article came out about you," I said, looking up, glad Tom's back was towards me, so he couldn't see my face.

"Oh, there was?" he asked, seeming a little nervous.

"Yeah, it's about you being your cousin," I replied, "it's not a very well written article, so I don't think it'll cause anything."

"Who wrote it?" Tom asked, standing up.

"Karen," I shrugged. "Her real name is Karrie King."

"Oh, that's almost Karen," Tom said, laughing a bit.

"Yeah," I said, laughing as well.

Tom nodded, going back to change.

*time skip brought to you by "respect the drip karen"*

"Do I have to dress up?" I complained, looking at the blue dress sitting on the bed, but slipping on the Captain America shield ring I had.

"Darling, we're going to a fancy 'restaurant'," Tom said, fixing his tie. "Besides, you'll look stunning in that dress."

"Okay, but I'm not wearing those," I said, pointing at the pair of black heels my mom made me bring.

"You don't have to," Tom shrugged.

I nodded and went to the bathroom to change.

After we were done getting ready, we went to the elevators, waiting for one, talking about whether or not hotdogs are sandwiches, when one of the elevators opened.

I looked over to see Karrie King, standing there.

Tom and I became very uncomfortable standing there, especially after we read the article.

She saw how uncomfortable we were and smirked, knowing we had read the article.

"How are you two?" she asked.

Tom looked down, while I looked her in the eyes and smiled.

"We're doing fantastic," I said.

"That's good," Karen said. "You two look good tonight."

Holy Thor, that's a weird thing to say.

"Thank you," I said, hiding my uncomfortableness.

She got off of the elevator, as we got off, waving us goodbye, I was extremely glad when the doors closed.

"She is so creepy," I said at once.

"I know," Tom said with a shutter.

We got off the elevator on the sixth floor and walked over to the restaurant my parents were meeting us at, walking in, getting escorted to our table.

"You two look nice," my mom said, as we sat down at the table.

"Thank you," I smiled. "You and dad look nice too."

We ordered our food and just chatted, it wasn't very interesting, until this brunette girl walked up to us, or well, walked up to Tom.

"Uh can I have your autograph?" the girl asked.

My whole family stopped eating, looking at the girl.

"Excuse me," she said. "Can I get your autograph?"

"I'm sorry," Tom said politely, "why would you need my autograph?"

"Because you're Tom Holland?" she said, unsure of what she was doing.

"Sorry, I'm not him," Tom said. "I'm sorry."

"Oh- okay," the girl said, walking off.

"That was awkward," Dylan said, eating his food again.

We then ordered dessert, Tom and I shared one, since we were already full (Tom was, I wasn't, but he insisted on sharing one with me).

Then, Tom insisted that he had to feed me some of our dessert, making me laugh as he fed it to me.

When I looked back, there was Dylan, smirking his phone out, taking a picture of us.

"Dylan-" I said.

"You can thank me later," Dylan said, pocketing his phone. "I'll put it with your wedding photos."

"Dylan, no," I said, raising an eyebrow. "It probably looks horrible."

"Are you saying you're a bad teacher?" Dylan asked, sniggering.

I frowned, shaking my head. "How dare you say that," I said, "but no, I meant, I look bad."

"I bet you don't," Tom said.

"Bet," I said, raising an eyebrow.

"Y/n, calm down," my dad said, sighing. "We're at dinner, you, your brother, and Tom can discuss this later."

"Fine," I sighed, "but Dylan you at least need to send me the picture, like right now- please."

Dylan smirked, pulling his phone out, sending me the picture.

I went to pull my phone out to look at it.

"Y/n," my mom said, giving me a stern look. "No phones at the table, wait till after."

I groaned, shoving my phone back into the pocket of my dress (yes, my dress was that fancy).

After another half an hour, we finished eating, Tom and I made our way back to our room.

"You know, the picture isn't that bad," I shrugged, sending it to Tom.

"Darling, this is perfect," Tom said, saving the photo to his phone. "I don't know what you're on about."

"Sure," I sighed. "I look okay, but not amazing."

Tom sighed, shaking his head in disagreement, opening the door to our room.

"Thomas- there's chocolate," I said in an excited whisper, pointing to the small chocolates placed on the pillows.

"I can see that," Tom chuckled. "But are you still hungry after dinner?"

I narrowed my eyes. "Yes, but I'll wait."

Tom smiled, hugging me, his mouth next to my ear, so I could hear his breathing. "Just don't eat mine."

I felt shivers down my spine as he said that.

We stood there for a bit.

"That's it," I sighed.

"What?" Tom asked, a bit concerned.

"I'm getting out of this stupid dress," I said.

Tom chuckled letting me go, letting me go change.

*time skip brought to you by joe*

Tom, Dylan, and I were sitting in the Beach Club, when the same brunette girl from earlier walked up to us, or, well, Tom.

"Hi," she smiled, not even looking at Dylan and me.

"Hi," Tom said, smiling as well. "Oh- I'm Tanner by the way. This is Dylan and Y/n," he said, gesturing towards us.

"Oh, right," she said, her smile wavering for a second, but snapping back immediately. "I'm Oliva, Olivia Knight."

"Nice to meet you," I said smiling.

She then invited herself to sit down, next to Tom, not even asking if the seat was taken.

Tom didn't seem to notice this, as he was focused on watching the Mario Kart game that was currently happening.

I looked over to Dylan, who also seemed to notice this, but he just shrugged.

"Who wants to go next?" Natasha asked. Tom and I's hands shot up. "Okay, the red team will be Tom and Y/n."

My strategy was simple, I was going to make myself look bad, then all of a sudden win. I wasn't going to let the hundreds of hours I've spent playing this game with David go to waste.

Tom and I lost, of course, by four points.

"Who wants to be on Y/n's team?" Natasha asked, looking around the room, the only person to raise their hand was Dylan. "Okay, Dylan is with Y/n. And who wants to be on Tanner's team?" multiple girls raised their hands. "Oliva, you'll be with Tanner."

Oliva smiled, looking at Tom, while Dylan and I shared glances, already knowing what we were going to do.

"Good thing I also spend a lot of my time playing Mario Kart," Dylan whispered to me.

"Don't worry Tanner, I'll be a much better teammate than Y/n," I heard Olivia say in a sweet tone.

We chose our characters, I immediately went for Funky Kong and the Flame runner, which was luckily unlocked, while Dylan went straight for Toad, with the Mach Bike. We both turned manual drift on which caused some eyes to widen.

"I think she was just playing with us last round," I heard someone say.

"Yeah, there is no way she would've known to choose Funky Kong," someone else said.

"She even did it without talking to her teammate," another person said.

It was apparent Tom heard these things as well, looking at me, an eyebrow raised, to which I just smiled and winked, turning back to the screen to see Olivia still choosing.

Tom was kind, letting me pick the course, so I chose Coconut Mall, by far my favorite course.

We started, and I was immediately in first, there was a lot of whispering and cheering in the room, as everyone watched us compete.

I ended up winning, Dylan coming in second, Tom was in fourth, while Olivia finished in twelfth.

"That was a good game," I said stretching, as though it was nothing (or well, because it was nothing).

"That- how did you do that?" Tom asked.

"Luck," I shrugged.

"Oh really?" Tom whispered into my ear. "I guess I'll just find out later."

"Sure," I said, pushing him slightly. "Now, let me get back to my game."

Tom's pov

Y/n, Dylan, and I were about to leave when I felt a hand on my arm.

"Why are you leaving," I turned around to see Olivia.

"Erm, because Y/n and Dylan wanted to," I said, unsure what to say.

"Well, why don't they leave," she said, looking at Dylan and Y/n, who were standing outside. "And we can spend some time together."

"Oh- well, I was just going to go back to my room," I said, "tomorrow is a shore day, so I wanted to, maybe go and sleep."

"Do you want some company?" Olivia asked, with a small smile on her face. "You must be lonely in your room by yourself."

"I share a room with Y/n," I said, "but I'd better go, nice meeting you."

I left the Beach Club, nodding for Dylan and Y/n to come with me.

Y/n and I made it back to our room Dylan thought Y/n and I needed some "private time".

Y/n and I were sitting on the bed, just talking.

"I still want that answer from earlier," Y/n said out of the blue.

"Answer for what question?" I asked, knowing what she was talking about.

"You know when I was like, 'how could you ever hate me?'" she said. "Then you were like 'well maybe I can', then you never answered me."

I laughed softly, caressing her cheek.

"Right," I said, bringing my voice to a whisper. "My feelings toward you are the complete opposite of hate."

"I feel the same," she said, making me smile. "Wait- we're talking about love, right?"

I chuckled, nodding.

She grinned, kissing me on the cheek.

I cupped her face after, leaning in, kissing her. Thankfully, she kissed me back, so I pulled her towards me, so there was no space left between us.

When we pulled away, both of our faces were red.

"I love you, Y/n," I breathed so she couldn't hear.

After that, the room was full of uncomfortable silence, neither of us knew what to do.

"I'm going to go change, you?" Y/n said after what felt like hours of us sitting there awkwardly.

"Yeah," I said, standing up, helping her up as well.
