I liked Taryn. Once I met an elf and they were nothing like Taryn. She was sweet and caring but that one I met was murder and wanted to destroy everything.

I really liked what Achlys said about that we aren't our family. I wish I could say to mom. I was glad Achlys led us to that library but something was off. She for sure didn't plan to get us there, and that bandage on her arm.

"Hey, what if we explore this forest?" Zac whispered.

"Are you sane? We could get killed." I whispered back. Zac laughed which caught Alex's attention.

"What are you laughing about?"

"Nothing important. It's just that Zac had one of his great ideas."

Alex tilted her head: "what kind of idea?"

"We could explore this forest." Zac repeated.

"Sounds good to me. When?" Alex continued to support his dumb idea.

"What about never?" I heard Arthur.

"I agree with Arthur, never is a good time." Lucia came closer to us. "We will be in trouble if dad finds out we have been here. Not talking about meeting elf."

"If you don't tell him, he won't know." Zac laughed.

Lucia rolled her eyes and looked to Arthur for help. He didn't look bothered at all. I thought that the only reason for him to disagree with this was Zac.

"Don't look at me, I have nothing in common with them." Arthur said and made his way to Achlys.

"There is no fun with you. Why do you always have to do what your father wants you to do?" Zac asked, and apparently shot black. I was in class with Lucia from day one and I knew she was really smart but for some reason she always did what everyone said. Mainly teachers or highly successful people.

"Zac got a point, sometimes it seems as if you try too hard for something unreachable." Alex's voice sounded concerned.

"I am not a robot; I have my own brain." Lucia snapped back.

"Nobody said you are a robot." Alex sighed "It's just that you are always trying to impress everybody and sometimes it feels as if you didn't have a life, as if you were trying to be good for everybody."

"But that is not possible." Stated Achlys, she appeared from nowhere, I really didn't see her come closer to us.

"You are talking as if I didn't know that." I still heard anger from Lucia's voice but now it came with frustration. "I am just saying that dad can expel us."

"Fine by me." Zac grinned.

"Now, but what will you do without and education?" I asked, I knew I would piss him off but it just came out of my mouth without warning. Lucia looked at me thankfully for supporting her, even though I didn't really want to.

"Come on, I won't drop out of school but I need some fun in life too." Zac complained.

"Then go to some party." Arthur gave a solution.

"Shut up! Nobody is talking to you." Zac's anger was all in the air, Arthur looked back to the path.

Lucia made a face that said she wanted to know why they act like that. I am pretty sure she knew they were friends before those rumors but since she stayed some time on the other Side she probably didn't know about changes in their friendship.

"They have been mad at each other since 5th year or around that time." I whispered to her. She nodded but didn't say anything.

"Still, you shouldn't go to the forest, it's dangerous." Achlys announced.

"Maybe, but you led us through it. 2 times." Alex was happy. "And thanks to you we met an elf. A freaking Guardian of the Library."

"If you mean Taryn, she isn't the guardian of that library. And I wasn't planning on going there with you."

"You weren't planning to go with us?" Alex sounded hurt.

"Which means you would go alone." I got to the point. If she was going through forest all alone she could get killed, no matter how strong she was.

"Don't worry, everything is fine."

"How can it be fine, you have connection, you killed over 5 thousand people and regularly go to forest." Lucia was again mad. But this time I understood where it came from. We should be a team, even if we don't want to, even Zac and Arthur didn't fight that much. But Achlys didn't say anything to us at all. All of us thought she was just another smart person who had a happy family and was born in a town not on another continent and fought in wars. She was 15, at least she looked like that. Since she had a connection and was from Dead City she could be an elf and be much older than us.

"Do you go through the forest regularly?" Zac's face said that he is more than shocked.

"And how come you never said anything to us?" Alex continued.

"Calm down, 1st you never asked, 2nd I am fine." she put her hands up as if she was giving in.

This continued pretty much the whole time we were walking and didn't stop when we entered school grounds. Alex and Zac were asking a lot of questions. Lucia from time to time said something about rules and how bad we are going to end up, and Achlys tried not to say much. Arthur didn't seem to care and I was thinking about Taryn.

I mean if she wasn't the guardian of the library then why was she there? Guardians are only people who live in the library, and if she wasn't why was she there. According to books guardians are powerful magicians and often were supposed to guard important points so that the enemy could not get through them. Later on, some of these points grew cities or libraries. All of them were magically protected and were designed to remain as towers.

If she wasn't a Guardian she could be an enemy, but for that she acted too nice, and she said something about wife. Maybe her wife was a guardian and Taryn is there just to substitute her.

I am not saying she wasn't powerful; I could feel her aura. Which says a lot about a person or elf. On the other hand I couldn't feel Achlys aura and she has a connection. Maybe it's some weaker primordial and that is why. Or maybe it's not even primordial.

Also, the thing about conjuring magic, why would she want to read it so badly.

Another thing was, why did we go to school? Yesterday we were forced to go home. Today we are going to school. I didn't understand it.

We went separate ways, I wished I was a woman. Whole night I would have to listen to Arthur and Zac talk shit or argue.

As soon as I could I lay on bed, it took them exactly 48 seconds before Zac started talking.

I couldn't stand it after 20 minutes and went outside of that room. My goal was simply to find something about Lunaris.

I went to the library where it all started. I looked for books with something helpful. I took out a bunch of books and sat at table. Even in night there was so much light. First book was named: Moon light. I thought that it would be something since Taryn referred to Lunaris as mother of moon. It turned out to be poems and not useful ones. Another book was called: Moon connection. I found out that there was much more primordial creatures and spirits with moon attribute. Another one helped me to realize that Lunaris isn't really a mother, since the book was named after all mothers through centuries and there wasn't her name.

When I looked at the clock it said it was morning. And another surprise was that Arthur and Zac came. I didn't really see them come but I was grateful for that. Together we searched for anything. It was Zac who was running and looking at all the books and putting them at our table. Me and Arthur tried to find something in them. Arthur for sure read a lot because it didn't take him much time to look through each of them.

"Lunaris, Mother of the moon. Was the first Lunar wolf." Arthur started to read and Zac sat next to us. "According to this book she disappeared from this world a long time ago. It also says that she made Lunar wolves to help her."

"So, they were something like her personal army?" Zac asked.

"Yes, something like that. It also says that Lunaris is known for her hatred for dragons. And disliking almost every other creature. It seems that she never lends her power to anyone."

"Beside our Achlys." Zac again interrupted.

"Yes, beside her. There is also written that she can appear in dreams and shape shifts."

"Makes sense, she is, after all, mother of the moon." I said "But the thing is, if she can shape shift, how can we be sure she isn't somewhere and just looks like an elf or human or any other race?"

"Well, it says that even though she can shape-shift, her colors stay the same. Her skin is still white, her eyes yellow or blue. And that she has some moon symbol every time. So, I think you would recognize her." Arthur answered.

"Look at this picture." Zac said and put book from his hands on table. On picture there was a lady. She was so bright and I felt power only looking at her. She for sure was Lunaris. She had a blue dress and tiara. On her back was a huge moon. If that was a symbol she always had then I wouldn't miss her. But somehow I felt as if she was missing something. "It's from last time she was seen." Zac continued.

"Why there aren't any more information." I asked. We did get to know something but it wasn't enough. And even though we searched the whole library, nothing new was there.

We returned to our room just to Zac and Arthur to come back to their fight. It was 5 in the morning. I tried to sleep but I couldn't because they were always fighting. I shouted at them to be quiet and to my surprise they were. I fell asleep and that dream came fast.

But this time it didn't end with a fight between Nyx and Angela. After their weapons crossed I didn't wake up. It took me to some forest. I ended up on the path and someone stood in front of me. I looked up and these blue eyes froze me.

"Don't look after me human." Lunaris was scary and I understood that she was Primordial only by her voice. I felt as if the whole earth shook when she talked. She looked exactly as at the picture from book. But something was different.

"Why?" I asked. Lunaris didn't answer, she just turned around and walked away. It wasn't a good idea but I walked after her. She shot me a look and my dream changed.

My mom was at the table with my father. It was the present time and my brother was there. He just got his connection and they were celebrating. It was as if somebody stabbed me. All of my siblings and both of my parents were there sitting and laughing. And they didn't even bother to invite me. I knew my mom did it, she hated me just because of my core. If there was a good reason be it but this was ridiculous. Another thing I knew was that Lunaris made me dream about this so I didn't search for her. Bad thing was that I wanted to find her now more than any time before, nobody showed me harmful things and got away with it.
