"Hey." I turned around to face my annoying sister.

"What?"

"Why don't you talk to Achlys?"

I raised my eyebrow: "Why should I?"

"She is at the top of school and has a Water core like you." She smiled.

"And?"

"Do you need some other reason to talk to her? She is so cool."

"Since when do you think she is cool?"

"When she saved me at the party."

I raised both of my eyebrows: "Saved?"

"Ops, I forgot to tell you."

I sighed in frustration: "Fine, I will talk to her."

She smiled so bright I wanted to tell her not to get fake hopes but she was already with Zac and Daniel.

I walked to Achlys. She was sitting under the tree and looking somewhere in the forest.

"Hi." I said slowly.

"What's up?" She answered. It was wired and I was for sure not the only one thinking about it. "Do you want to sit down?" she asked.

I nodded and sat down. She didn't stop staring in the forest but when I looked the same way I didn't see anything.

"What are you looking at?"

"Nothing. I am thinking. Do you need anything?"

"Not really. Alex said that you saved her."

"Not really. Charlie is an imbecile, I wanted to do that for a long time."

"Charlie?"

She nodded: "He is dating my- Salia. He wanted to have fun with you sister."

I smiled. "Thanks for protecting her."

"No problem." She continued to stare into the forest.

I had to ask. I probably never would talk to her again so this was my only chance: "You aren't Water core, are you?"

She shook her head: "No, I saw darkness and the whole universe. Then I somehow got attracted to water, so I started to think about it."

I nodded: "Primordial one?"

She looked at me: "Why should I tell you anything?"

I shrugged: "You don't have to."

She laughed. And turned her whole body towards me: "You look like your sister."

"Well we are identical twins after all."

She laughed some more and then nodded: "According to legend: the Water mage stood by Darkness. Will you stand by me?"

"No, never."

"At least you are telling the truth." She smiled.

"No problem."

We laughed together, I liked her laughter. Then we stopped laughing and just sat there in silence.

"Are you always going to tell the truth?"

"Maybe, I don't know."

She smiled softly.

Mr. Rowe started to explain what magic is and to do it: "Magic comes from nature. It always was there and always will be. We come after magic. Nobody knows what was before. Humans call this event the Big Bang but for us it's time when magic started to react. All of us have Magical cores inside us. We are built of magic. Humans are too bad they forgot how to actually do it. We on the other Side know it, first magic was primary: Darkness and Light. Nyx and Angela.

Secondary magic was: fire, water, air, earth. The one we are made of. You can master any other but you have one you are most comfortable with. There are some rules to it. you have to be connected with a primordial magic. "

"Primordial magician?" I asked.

"Yes, we know about 5 types of magic: Core magic, Primordial magic, Time magic, Physical magic, Conjuring magic. Time magic and Conjuring magic are banned because of their dark side. Physical magic is in the second year after connection. We won't talk about it and for Primordial magic it is also called Creature magic or Animal magic. It is the oldest kind of magic. Only Primordial creatures can master it. For example Dragons, Lunar Wolfs, Solar foxes and many more.

We have Core magic. We need Primordial magicians to be willing to show us how to make complex magic."

I looked around and it wasn't that hard to get but I knew for sure Zac needed to do it in practice so he could fully get it. I didn't like that guy.

"Are we going to practice?" Zac asked.

I should ask for money every time I predict the future - I would be a millionaire if not a billionaire.

"No, how are we supposed to do that?" Achlys said with sarcasm in her voice.

"Shut up, you can do it. Why shouldn't we learn it?" Zac got point but it wouldn't help him. I knew that for something like that you needed at least a few years and a lot of training.

"Actually we are Miss Raven."

A what now? Who normal let's my sister know how to use magic? I won't be able to sleep. Like ever again.

Then Mr, Rowe continued: "Now, let's start. We will all start together. First comes physical condition, by end of Thursday all of you will be able to fight."

No, I won't sleep. I knew that as soon as I looked at Alex, she was smiling brighter than the sun.

"I won't teach you, the one who will teach you is Mrs. Volk."

Shit, we are fucked Mrs. Volk is the most feared teacher in the whole school. She is literally fear itself.

We walked to the gym. Mr. Rowe said something to Mrs. Volk and went his way. Mrs. Volk came to us and shouted: "Mr. Rowe wants from you a fighters so you will become one. Now 30 rounds around the gym. Go! GO! GO! GO!"

We ran. There was nothing we could do. If Mrs. Volk says you are running 30 laps you are.

It took us more than 40 minutes. Well 5 of us Achlys did it under 20.

"You are slow." Mrs. Volk shouted. Sometimes I thought she can't do anything else. "Now, warm up. I want to see everyone on ground: starching, 30 squats, 30 push-ups." We did it. Lucia looked a little pale but she did it. "Fine and now some pain."

I personally thought we had enough of it.

We were here for 3 hours and were forced to do some martial arts, gymnastic and runs. For everything we didn't do we all had to do 50 push-ups. Only person who didn't mess up was Achlys. She was so focused on all of this, she looked like somebody totally else.

At lunch we were forced to sit together. Everyone's arms were shaking so much we couldn't eat. Except for Achlys she didn't eat, I don't know why, that girl was the only mystery I knew. I knew about everything and everyone but nothing about her. She just started to bowl and didn't eat.

When we came back to the gym, we did another cardio exercise. This time we lifted weights and did other push-ups. I don't get what they are going to help us but I didn't say a word. It was something around 4 when we finally got out of the gym.

Big surprise: we were forced to study. Well some of us I personally liked studying but I knew Alex would rather be anywhere else.

We went to the library where our team first met. We sat at the same table with an extreme number of books. Every single one was about simple magic and how to do it.

Alex was the first one to say: "I am bored."

"Me too," Zac agreed. Every single cell of my blood boiled the moment he opened his mouth.

"Can we go?" Alex asked.

"No" was the simple answer but I didn't remember Lucia being this sharp. Alex stayed quiet about what happened only sometimes.

A grin appeared on Achlys's face: "Come on Luc, we will at least have some fun. "

"I hate when you call me like that." Lucia snapped at her.

Achlys couldn't be less bothered, she started to laugh.

"Hey, Dan, you should see this." Zac nudged Daniel with his elbow.

"What?" Daniel's voice was sleepy. Unbelievable he slept.

"We will have a fight." Alex explained and Zac laughed on it.

Lucia stood up: "No we won-" but she couldn't finish. She fainted and if I wasn't sitting next to her, she would hit the ground.

Achlys helped me to slowly put her on the floor and shouted orders. "Alex, go for Mr. Rowe. Zac, Dan go for a nurse." She was a leader to heart.

Mr. Rowe came first. He put his hand on her forehead but she didn't have a fever. I did the same thing and because Achlys didn't believe me she did too.

"What happened?" he looked up at us.

"We were studying, we started to talk, she stood up, she fainted." Achlys explained.

Door busted open and a nurse came in. Behind her were Alex, Zac and Daniel. He didn't run this time.

The nurse also checked her fever, then she asked Mr. Rowe to take Lucia to the hospital wing.

We were supposed to put all the books back to their places and go home, I would love to stay here. But I couldn't.
