Night 5?

Questions:
~What is the Night 5?
~What is up with the Night 5's genetics and magical chains?

Let's get started.

The Night 5 is a group with 5 parts that were created by the Night and Grace Kingdoms in order to help the Life Kingdom's creation by protecting the nighttime. The Night 5 then were given the abilities of the Night, which made them very weak during the day. Back then, they left the day fighting to the Life Creations while they dealt with the Night battles. Today, the Night 5 has slightly worked around their weaknesses to work with their day friends.

There are four Night 5s; Northern, Southern, Big Under, and Small Under. Like I said, there are 5 parts. Well, 5 main parts and a side part. Let me explain them. Then I'll follow each up with clips.

(By the way, if you need any info about anything I might've missed or didn't explain well, ask me. I have literally a stack of files about this group. I think I can find the answer)

First we have one of the more well known parts; the Wild Hunt. This group was slightly inspired by the actual Wild Hunt from European Folklore, the only difference is that the original Wild Hunt was mostly dead souls that when faced or even witnessed people would die and get sent to another world. Meanwhile the Wild Hunt of the Night 5 is slightly different, having the same killing abilities but they're not made of dead souls and actually drain their victims of their aura as energy in order to live through the day. The Wild Hunt is one of the hardest parts to get in as an outsider since they require many trials and tests in order to enter. They also have one major weakness; Magic.

Dijon raced forward as the new moon hummed softly. His sword was already racing around his left arm as he targeted someone who had escaped the village they were after. He activated his Nightstep, gaining him the needed jump before he cut the person down. A dark, smoke-like thing came out from the body before entering his sword. He gave a relaxed sigh as he Nightsteped back to the others.

"Get 'em?"

"Yeah... took too long, but got 'em. All done?"

"Yep. We'll make it till morning."

~

Then we have the next famous part; the Coven. They are just like their real world equivalents. The only difference is that these guys have magic. They aren't very powerful physically as their allies of the Hunt, but they have a hell lot more magic than most casters out there. They are able to cast things that vary from curses to remedies to potions to analysis and beyond. They were actually gifted by the Kingdom of Grace with homes; the Cavern, a place that works to help them grow and holds Night 5 events. They are the only ones to not have a prime weakness like the rest of the Night 5, yet they are the most hated within the group. They are the easiest to get into, basically only needing a casting ability.

~

Cedar sent a storm spell as Scrappy casted some fireballs. Blue tried to call out, only to get silence as they sent another rain of attacks. Scrappy called out to the brown haired male as their nearly transparent, dark purple wings carried them in the air.

"Cedar! Wish dropping!" He nodded as he let lightning race across the sky. She then called out once more, this time letting it echo.

"PURPLE WISH!"

Purple sparkles flew through the air as they strengthened the lightning before it tore the enemies apart. He smiled at her.

"Only you."

"Now you have to catch up." He blew raspberries at her before he shot down to the others. She winced before she raced after him.

~

Then there's the slightly less known part; the Skybenders. These guys are like airbenders, however they are more for using the skies and space for their abilities, making them the only group to not get fully affected by the time the sky says as they can change it. They were blessed by many space and sky legends and kingdoms as well as a small blessing from Grace to be able to control what they bend without seeing the skies. Many benders of the Night 5 train in high places, such as mountains and hardly ever want to be near the ground. They are only easy to enter if you are a version of Fire, Water and Air benders as they are the more sky worthy. Earthbenders must be lucky to enter (The only example is Northern Night 5 Skybender Bertha so far).

~

Lillie chuckled as she raced Saturn to the sky. She already heard Sun scream, so she was already doing good. Saturn gulped as he glanced at her and they entered the clouds.

"You sure?"

"Don't test me." He nodded as they paused at a break in the clouds. "Ready?"

"Don't think twice." She frowned as he did a quick spin, making the clouds clear out a radius around them.

"That better be a mental note for you."

"It is. I know you won't." She chuckled as they summoned human-sized orbs of sun and moon power. Sun was probably either screaming or hiding. Oh well. The shout that followed was perfect.

"SUNS AND MOONS! TAKE OVER!"

The orbs raced down as the two Skybenders raced down, summoning blades of space and stars before they slammed into the enemy lines.

Oh... and Lillie did hear Sun's screaming. Just thought to mention it if you were curious.

~

Then comes the next lesser known part; the Spiritweavers. These guys are the ones to use the spirits that the Hunt doesn't use. They also are the least public friendly and would rather work in a graveyard. They actually go to haunted or death places in order to practice their weaving and don't normally fight in the air. Their weaknesses actually range from the need of souls to physical effects from the weaving. They are the weakest group due to this, yet can deal with many of the problems of the Night 5, unless you're Fantina. They are personally blessed by the Spirit Kingdom and are used to sending the ruler their prayers before the Grace Kingdom. Entry is only hard because people fear the group and the groups get rather small. However, Ghost expertise and knowing of the spirit world is a great way to gain entry.

~

Fantina got screams going when someone, we'll blame Kincaid until we actually see them through the smoke, attacked the Contest Hall. Ruby and Platinum were able to defend everyone until she stormed in.

Ok... she didn't snap. She just knew what she was doing.

"GREEN WISH!"

Her hand flashed green before spirits raced around her. The crowd gasped as she chuckled.

"Time to make this battlefield into a stage once more!"

With nothing more than graceful steps and her own performing skills, she made a show while weaving those spirits. And yes, she did tear up the enemy in the process.

Oops.

~

Then comes a somewhat new part; the Guiders. These guys are born leaders, naturals of the light and dark, and masters of their ways of guiding people. These people use the powers of elements, light and color in order to lead their allies into any sort of mission. Many times they are Elemental Arena Mages or simple Guiding Mages. These guys only have a rivalry weakness as they are very competitive and are classy when escaping. They normally don't like working behind others, making that a very good advantage against their weakness. Entering is a hassle; knowing you must be able to manipulate certain sections of their work in a certain way. Though finding a team in a single region alone isn't hard.

~

"Left."

"I know why, but please?"

"No."

The Dexters were originally arguing about how to find the Escapers' new base until Silver spoke. Then the argument shifted.

"I could have him dead in ten minutes."

"He could be outside in 5."

"2."

Dijon and Cedar looked over at the Guider as he spoke again.

"I know my way to the new base. I've already been there and knocked twice."

"Why?"

"Just to piss them off. I also blinded Kincaid once and stole three things from them. By the way, this was all yesterday's trip." Cedar put his head down as he spoke once more. "Go to Nimbasa, go to the sandstorm outside, take a left, another left in between two houses and just go till you see a small house. Knock and run. Trust me, they still think I'm going to show up to knock again."

"You-"

~

Lastly, there's the side part; the Four~5s. These are special members that are in all five. While it seems easy, entering this part is extremely difficult as you must be able to cope with all five skills and weaknesses. In addition, you must be able to counter the others without trying and be accepted by each of your respective Nights. Not only that, but then you must meet with the others of this group to change it from Four to Five or whatever number you're becoming. This is very complex. Also, you get bonus points for every person you memorize in your Night 5.

~

"Arctic, don't touch me!"

"Poke."

Cedar snapped his fingers just as Dijon screamed, quickly deafening Red before his ears were damaged. Red was stunned for a minute before he snapped again and called out.

"Voices on low. Please and thank you." Dijon and Arctic glanced over, sword and ax clashed.

"Why?"

"Because-" He then frowned. "May I just ask?"

"She started it."

"Well I know that, but put the weapons away." Arctic paused.

"But-"

"No." She huffed.

"Fine. I'll go kill someone else!" The two Night members winced as she headed for the door.

"Please have mercy on the Pachirisu!"

~

All this just for night warriors. Dear Lord...

The Grace Kingdom blessed them while the Night Kingdom gave them it's territory as its original home. So there's that.

As for the second question...

The Night 5 is full of interesting patterns and skills. So their genetics and magical chains make them even more unique. Well...

The Wild Hunt has an extremely unique love season. They have three stages that cause them pain if not dealt with quickly.

1: When they catch sight of the love that'll take their hearts, they develop Hanahaki Disease. And just like the original disease, they must confess or else it'll kill them.
2: A heat/runt-like stage after confession. They get very attached to their loved ones and often are ready for breeding. However, they are patient and wait for their loves to be ready for their natural deadly and rough love making.
3: This stage comes after a positive session. This leads them to be very protective and constantly marking their territory and family.

All stages have their levels of pain. As for their genetics and magical chains, certain families will do genetic merging while they do magic division. In other words, they try to combine as many characteristics into a single child like it'll be their only one, yet barely give it any skills like they're getting many kids.

The Coven is much different. They have a simple breeding just like any human or normal person. However, they're passings of genetics and magical chains are much different than anyone else. Genetics can be similar, so that's good. But depending on the relationship depends on the magic chain.

If the male is the Covenant, it is unlikely the child will have the flowing Coven aura because there's not enough bonding of child and father before the child is birthed. There is a 1-in-100ish chance that a male Covenant can get pregnant, meaning they can do what the females can. If the male isn't a Covenant, it is likely that they can transfer their magic and give their child a primary cast.
If the female is the Covenant, it is very likely that the child will have flowing Coven aura because they have time to let it flow into the child before birth. If the female isn't the Covenant, the magic chain is normal and the child gets whatever the mother's family gives it.

The Skybenders and Spiritweavers are very similar to those of non-Night 5 people. The only difference is the genetics. A Skybender child will get more of their mother's traits with a 1% chance of getting their father's while a Spiritweaver child will get the vice versa. There are rare instances where it is reversed; two examples are actually Saturn (Skybender) and Ice (Spiritweaver).

Guiders are some of the more interesting ones. A Guider child (Depending on numbers) gets stages of the Guider parent's abilities. If two Guiders make a child, the magic chain is very unique and it's a war to see what the child can do. This also depends on what group of Guiders. But for genetics it's normal.

The Four~5s have the most confusing part. Since they must get used to all 5, they have to also have a combination of the genetics and magic chains. They get the stages of the Hunt and depending on who the Four~5 is depends on the magic chain and traits. If the Four~5 is the mother; the child will mostly have the Coven aura, Skybender traits and Guider skills; while the father will give the vice versa. If it is a gay ship, it's more complex.

If a non-Night 5 member breeds with the Night 5, they can cause one slight conflict; the day/night trance. This trance is a battle of if the child is day or night. Depending on the race of the parents and part of the Night 5 will depend on the Child's outcome to this. If it's two Night 5 members, the child is guaranteed to be a night fighter and the part of the Night will have to decide everything else.
