I love this question.

Elliott and Green have a family rivalry. You can ask Cyan or check out Etta's "Queens and Wings" book. The Oaks and their relatives hate Elliott and his family more than they hate their fears. It's adorable when you see a real battle in action. Because he's an absolute moron while they pick on him like bullies. Honestly, I'm shocked Green didn't kill him on the spot.
