Information [Read All]

Welcome, one and all, to my new Warrior Cats RolePlay, Hidden Scars!

This information may seem like a lot to take in, but will give you all the information you need for this RolePlay. Read it all.

Here's a little blurb for it!

In the three Clans of cats living in the forest, any scars a cat has are considered burdens. They signal a cat's weakness and loss in battle, and give them worse reputation within their Clan.

Scars are not only physical, but emotional scars  are always there to haunt a cat as well. They are easier to hide than physical scars are.

What scars do you hide?

Well, there's my new RolePlay's plot! Let's get to the rules.

Always Roleplay in third person point of view.
I don't want something like: *sits down beneath a tree* What a nice day!
I would prefer Roleplaying like this: Snowheart sat beneath the tree on that chilly leaf-fall day. Snow had not yet fallen, but she knew it would be here soon.

No sexual anything. Come on, we have younger people here. Things like maybe tails intertwining or licking another cat's ear are allowed, but not anything detailed like that.

Only use warrior-term curses within the RolePlay, wether RolePlaying or chatting outside of the RolePlay. If you curse, your comment will be deleted.

You do NOT need to RolePlay in one main Clan chain! I personally dislike wanting to do a mini-RolePlay with just one person and having to do it in the chain comment for that Clan's camp. These won't exist here and you can have a small little group or one person RolePlaying with you.

When chatting outside of your RolePlay, put it between [], {}, (), or anything like that.

No dramatic timeskips. Do not timeskip any more than a few hours or maybe even a day.

Hate the character, not the RolePlayer. Drama outside the RolePlay is unwanted by others.

No overpowered characters. Nobody likes godmodding and it just ruins everything. Password is Boeing4Life. Your character can win some battles, but they can lose some, too.

Don't be rude. Just, please, treat everybody with respect.

Prefixes not allowed in the RolePlay are Sky-, Shadow-, Thunder-, River-, Wind-, and Star-. Sorry about the clan names not being allowed for prefixes, but this just drives me nuts. They are allowed for suffixes, though. Except for -star if your cat is not a leader.

No unnatural pelt or eye markings or colors. This is self-explanatory.

Disobeying the rules results in warnings, or even bans, depending on the severity of the rule you broke and how so.

Be active. I don't want you to make a cat here and then never return. Even if it's just one little comment on average Clan life every day. That's okay, as long as you are still alive here.

If you want to leave the RolePlay, let me know. I'll remove your OC's from the allegiances.

Let me know about any big news. This means the news within the RolePlay. For example, a cat dying, kits being born, rank succession, etc. For rank succession, ask me about it first to ensure the cat is the correct age and not being moved up a rank too early.

Don't kill another cat without permission. You must ask, and your cat doesn't need to live forever, either.

Warrior code-breaking is allowed! I encourage half-clan relationships, as well as border skirmishes and fights as the Clans in this RolePlay fight a lot, and highly hope to see it happen.

Don't discriminate another RolePlayer because of their possible lack of skill. For example, their grammar might not be that good. Don't criticize those people, but instead help them.

Don't copy the password off the previous form submitted! If I see this and I have changed the password, something I plan to do often, your form will be denied. I try not to deny forms, but I may have to.

Well, now let's get to the RolePlay info!

Physical scars~

The three Clans in this RolePlay are always fighting. They never really have had any alliances. They are enemies.

Because of this, cats not having scars is very rare. Clans want to prove that their neighbors and will take any opportunity they get their paws on to leave more scars on their enemies. This is the reason the Clans are never friends in the first place.

This is also where the tradition of scars being signs of weakness comes from. They not only show an individual's loss and weaknesses, but their Clan's as well. It tells enemy Clans that their Clan is slightly weaker because they are home to a weak cat.

Cats with scars are cast out by cats in their Clan. They are ignored and sometimes mistreated, being refused to be allowed to take a piece of prey for a meal. If the scars build up or are large or worse enough, the cat baring them will most likely be exiled. Clans have no room for weakness.

Emotional scars~

Some cats are lucky enough not to bare physical scars, but instead bare emotional scars. Some cats with physical scars also have emotional scars as well, and if a cat has no scars whatsoever, then they're as lucky as can be.

Emotional scars are actually quite common, especially for younger cats. They can occur from the loss of a loved one, a harsh past, and whatever else that would make a cat miserable.

Clan battles are quite common, and many cats are sent into the heart of them. They often see cats whom they value especially get wounded in battle, or even killed. This easily gives a cat emotional scars.

Younger cats are often sent into battles, mostly to prove their strengths and if they are cut out to be a warrior or not. A fellow denmate might be killed or wounded badly in battle, or they might see one of their peers suffer. This easily scar a cat for life.

Some cats have harsh backstories. Whatever they may be, they leave emotional scars.

Emotional scars are much easier to hide than physical scars, but are still just as dangerous to a cat if discovered. They are also considered weaknesses, and if a cat accidentally shows their secret scars, they are most likely never ever forgotten by any cat.

Deformations~

Believe it or not, deformations occurring with a cat are worse than scars in some cases. If deformations are easy to notice and more damaging than others, the cat baring them is also neglected harshly.

Medicine cat neglect~

Medicine cats in the Clans are often neglected. They are considered too weak to fight, and here's why.

If a cat becomes medicine cat, they are always trained to be a warrior first. No cat may totally push the idea of being a warrior aside to become a medicine cat apprentice.

Medicine cats were either warriors or apprentices who got so badly scarred or injured that they could no longer be a warrior. Wether it's really a disabling injury or just signals of weakness from a physically fit cat, they are no longer able to be a warrior and must become a medicine cat apprentice or retire to the elders' den if the position if already sufficed, or of the current medicine cat is not ready for an apprentice. Because of this, there are many young elders, and medicine cats have the most brutal scars.

Medicine cats are helpful, but no fighting cat really sees that. They are frowned upon and neglected. They often aren't allowed to share common meals with other cats, and sometimes are omitted from eating sometimes at all.

The Clans~

StormClan: StormClan cats typically have muscular, blocky builds. They usually have darker-colored pelts, but sometimes white every once in a while. They are courageous and strong by nature, not by training, but they still train their skills often. They are usually naturally skilled in battle, and are easily feared by other Clans. They aren't very welcoming to outsiders and always need time getting used to someone new. They quickly treat exiled cats like any unfamiliar enemy and unprivileged cats within their Clans with disrespect.

DewClan: These cats are the nicer cats. They are elegant and graceful, though never afraid to get their paws dirty and claws bloody to prove their Clan is superior. These cats are egotistical. They have sleek, efficient builds as well as lighter brown and white pelts, sometimes gray. Black is rare. They are generally friendly but are never hesitant to leap into battle if it meant helping their Clan.

TimberClan: These cats are cautious and think ahead, and always have strategic battle plans. They don't harm nor welcome outsiders, but question them thoroughly to see what they are like, and don't assume all are bad or good. Their body builds range from larger to smaller builds, but are typically average. Their pelts are mostly brown and tortoiseshell, and sometimes golden and ginger cats in TimberClan appear. They are the quiet and wise.

Other Clans:

SpiritClan: SpiritClan is the equivalent to the canon StarClan in this RolePlay. Every good cat who dies comes here, and every emotional and physical scar and disorientation is healed.

ShadeClan: ShadeClan is the equivalent to the canon Dark Forest in this RolePlay. Every bad, evil cat who dies comes here, and any emotional and physical scar and disorientation remains on the cat.

It's time for the form, finally! If a section doesn't apply to your OC, just say none.
Based on the amount of scars your OC bares already, I'll give them a number out of ten. This is your cat's reputation. This decides how much your cat is neglected, how many privileges they have, and what the future holds in store. You can change this by trying to hide your scars, or worsen them by gaining more. The more reputation your cat is given, the better off they are in the Clan, vice versa. For example, say if a cat has 2/10 reputation. They have heavy scars, wether emotional or physical, and are often neglected.
