pologies for the late update! here's a super extra aurora scene.

aurora scene -

three small bright starry shapes appeared in the aurora that freezing, snowy night.
"hurry up, patchkit!" one young, high voice meows impatiently.
"i'm going as fast as i can!" patchkit responds indignantly. all three exchange banter as they head quietly into camp, where their loved ones lay asleep.
one hesitates at the chieftess's den, and icekit nudges her inside. "go on, lusterkit," he meows, smiling at her. lusterkit smiles, nodding and heading in.
"hey, glacierfrost." she meows, love shining in her gaze. "i hope you're doing well. snowshine is still making you happy, right?" she smiles at the feather crown that lay on glacierfrost's forehead. "of course. i wish i could've made you proud like wisteriapaw and nebulapaw are doing. i'm looking after lavenderpaw, don't worry. he may be bigger than me, but i've been with the aurora for over fifteen moons!" lusterkit chuckles, growing quiet.
"anyway.. i wanted to say thank you for not forgetting me. and snowshine, and wisteriapaw and nebulapaw. i think about everyone all the time; i'm watching over you, okay? don't lose faith in life. live for me, because i never got to live for myself. i love you, mom." lusterkit touches her nose softly to glacierfrosts' forehead, purring almost inaudibly and turning around to head back.

meanwhile, patchkit and icekit padded into the nursery. both of them exchanged sad glances as they saw their siblings and their mom's sleeping outlines.
the two sat next to eachother and looked over dotkit, pebblekit and snowykit as they slept. there was a quiet, calm silence.
"so.." icekit starts, "i.. i miss you guys. even if we never really met. both of us do. we wish we could play with you every day. d- don't forget us, okay? we will watch over you and do our best to guide you." patchkit nods and rubs her eyes, laying down beside feathertongue.
"you're the best mom ever, feathertongue. i love you so much.. i wish things could've been different.

finally, the moments end and all three kits gather together and head back to the fading aurora, their starry pelts fading with the beautiful colours.

a silent figure crept into camp with a smile. she had braved the snow and cold, however foolishly, to bring her dearest a gift.
her paws found their way to her destination; glacierfrost's den. it had taken.. certain.. trial and error that brought her to this moment. she may or may not have forgotten that flowers did not grow in freeze season...
shaking the thought with a smile, she laid the frosted silver crown on glacierfrost's forehead as she slept. the molly lightly breathed in her comforting scent, and returned to her den without waking a soul.

someone left a feather crown for glacierfrost! anyone may launch an investigation if they wish.

oakfreckle got lost in the snow... she now has whitecough. (-1 energy)
