the tom crept into the nursery, his eyes bright with happiness. his own family was just about to start. feathertongue was on the verge of labor as he entered, a shiny rock and an eagle feather in his mouth. he had failed to find a rose, sure, but he still had found something pretty.
feathertongue smiles at the tom, looking tired already. "thank you, my love," she murmurs as the tom places the rock down, her voice out of breath.
"anything for you." the tom purrs.
heronwing has given feathertongue a shiny rock and an eagle feather! aww.

snaphound was exiled... no one knows where he went.
