Call Me Zyicho [Multiverse; Zyicho Rixen & Mo Dalles]

I sprang over a pile of blocks, the toe of my foot catching one of the boxes and sending it tumbling to the floor. Sadly, for me, I wasn't graceful at all and that single box sent me falling.

"Dammit," I hissed, rubbing my backside as I glanced side to side. I couldn't find my brother, either- the only other human being besides the ones chasing me was the brown-haired man I met earlier. Casper, I think.

I skidded around the corner, the gravel underneath my feet scattering everywhere as I sharply turned, pressing myself to the wall.

Ruuuumble.

I held my breath as a group, no, a crowd- of pale-skinned, attractive people ran past. At the front, a blonde girl with perfect waves down to her waist and shining emerald-green eyes whipped side to side, missing me from where I was crouched behind a stack of boxes.

"He must've gone straight forward!" She declared and the entire crowd roared their agreement before tramping forward.

Sweet jesus.

I sighed, allowing myself to slump and extend out from the cramped position I was in. I had been running from those people for hours.

I was in a place I knew nothing about, I was stripped of any weapons whatsoever besides a single knife, and I was being chased by some maniacs. Wonderful. Just lovely.

I had found a single chest, however, which held a small piece of paper which read 'r00f t0q' as well as a small canteen of water. I pulled out both, bringing the container to my lips as I studied the paper.

R00f.

Roof.

I almost inwardly smirked to myself. "Well, that was easy," I remarked to myself, then glanced upwards, looking at the building in front of me. I was in a village, with tall houses and a new house at every turn.

T0q.

...tofu?

"Nonsense," I half-mumbled, turning the paper every way to see if the turn of degree would yield any results. "Roof tofu?"

After getting nothing better, I flipped the paper over, and noticed a tiny line in the corner. Squinting closer, I could barely make out the hastily scribbled words.

Reverse the q.

The q...being reversed...would be the p letter.

T0p.

It clicked. Roof top.

So, this chest wanted me to go to the roof tops. I took another sip of water, and closed my eyes as I debated my options- I would have to go find a place where I could access the roof tops, and that crazed mob might be able to see me. On the other hand, the mob will have to find a way to get me as well, and I could get away at the time.

"Your hiding spot isn't good at all," someone commented, and I glanced up, meeting the gaze of a brown-haired man. He looked a lot like Casper, who I had met earlier, but a pair of black square rested on his nose.

My shoulders went rigid, a hand dropping to my side to brush against the cool, flat side of my knife. I gotta get out.

His eyes widened at the glint of the knife, and I inwardly growled as he took a step back, his hands held above his head.

"I'm not those weird mobs!"

One of my shoulders dipped in relaxation. I was tired of running by now, and at hearing that a person I had encountered might not be them was a quick break.

"Can you lift your hands from that knife? I'm...I'm Mo."

In response, I shifted my hand lightly, allowing it to rest on my thigh as I scrutinized him. "Just call me Rixen."

"Rixen?" Mo asked, cocking his head. "Eh, okay."

I glanced at him out of the corner of my eyes, only to watch him sit down, his back pressed against the wall. As relief surged through me, I allowed my fist to uncurl, revealing a crumpled piece of paper.

"Oh, you've found out the clue too?"

I paid him no attention and he laughed in response. "Oh, I get it- you're gonna make me to all the talking. Well, I'm looking for my twin brother. He look-"

"Casper, isn't that right?"

Some unknown emotion flashed through Mo's blue eyes- hurt, anger, worry- before he pursed his lips and gave me a nod.

"I've seen him."

His frame loosened at that, and he shot me a reassuring smile. "Thanks for that info, Rixen."

"Whatever," I responded, tucking the paper in my collar. "I'm going."

"Where?"

"Somewhere," I responded quietly, pulling myself to my feet and sparing him a fleeting glance. He met my gaze with a unwavering stare before turning way, quietly tucking his chin into his collar.

I was about to go when I cocked my head, my back still facing away from him. "Do you have a weapon?"

"Nope."

I slid my knife out from my belt and turned towards him, offering the handle to him. "I don't need it."

Mo looked surprised before staring up at me, extending a hand to accept the blade. "See ya, Rixen."

"Oh. One more thing," I said, starting to walk away. "Call me Zyicho."

This was supposed to be something else but I liked the way I finished with this and yay Mo
