Chapter 5

Taehyung's POV

I'm very excited to meet my friends at school! As soon as we arrive at school, appa kissed me on my forehead and we said goodbye to each other. I ran to the school main gate to find my bestfriend, Kim Jimin.

" Yaaaaaaah ~ Why didn't you visit me? " Jimin asked with annoying voice after we greet each other. " Mianhae, Jiminnie hyung," I shot his my rectangle smile as I apologize. Yep, he's older than me, but just a few months yet he insist to make me call him hyung. "Hmm.. kajja, we need to find out what class are we in this year," Jimin said, taking my left hand and immediately bolt to the notice board.

I search for my name,

Park Jinu, Park Jeonghun, Park Minah, Park Nami, Park Taejun, Park Taekwon, Park Taehyung...

My eyes roll to the left of my name and found... 3-1A..

I turn my head to face a grinning Jiminie hyung. " Congratulations, you'll have to spend another year with me again, Mr. Park," he said with a mocking tone and shook my hand. He was holding my hand when a boy stop infront of us, taking my other hand with a huge grin plastered on his face.

Who...?

3 second,

My eyes looks like it's going to pop out of their sockets as I recognize the boy.
"Kooooooookie!!!!!!!!" a huge realization hit my head like a hammer. Kookie! We are studying at the same school!!!

"Taetaaaaaaaaaaaaeeee!!!!" He squeal happily and attack me with teletubies hugs. I felt a few pair of eyes staring at us with weird looks but I ignore it. " Umm, sorry to interrupt your reunion ceremony but, I think that Taetae and I have classes to attend, so... excuse us," Jiminie hyung said hurriedly as he pull my hand from Kookie, ready to bolt to our classroom but Kookie's grip on my hand just got tighter. He smile sweetly at me before letting my hand go. I swear I felt the air just got tense for a second. I gave him a confused look before focusing on Jiminnie hyung.

" Tae ~ Tae ~ "

I turn my head to find the source of the voice. Jiminnie hyung? " Taetae~~~" he singsong my name while skipping toward me. "Yes?" I asked him with a confused tone and eyebrows knitted together. "Let's eat together~~" he said, still with the singsong voice. I just roll my eyes half-heartedly. I wonder sometimes, why did I even decided to befriend with him. We were heading to the school field when I feel a light tap on my left shoulder. I jump at the sudden contact and turn my head to look at the one who tap my shoulder. A wave of relief rush through my whole body as I recognize the person.

" Oh god, Kookie! You need to find a new hobby instead of shocking me like that," I said while smacking his arm playfully. "Mianhae, hyung," he said innocently with his bunny smile. "By the way, where are you going?" he asked. "Well Jiminie and I were heading to the field," I said. 'it's Jiminie hyung, you idiot' I heard him whispering at me with annoyed tone. I just ignore it and ask Kookie if he want to join us. He beam and answered, "I would love to!". With the background sound of Jimin's whining voice, we chat cheerfully on our way to the field.

We sat under an enormous shady tree, near the school field. "Taetae-ah, what did you bring?" Jiminie asked me coolly while glancing at my lunchbox hungrily. I chuckled and opened my lunchbox, revealing some delicious looking bibimbap. Jiminie literally drool with his eyes. Before I ask him to eat with me, I feel Kookie grabbing my shoulder, stopping me from my action. He flashed me his trademark smile while handing out his lunchbox, already opened. Hmm... kimchi fried rice. The spicy aroma of it made me lick my lips unconsciously. Jiminie coughed, making me realize that I was staring at it for too long. " Yah, why were you staring at it as if you are looking at a girl?" Jiminie asked me while I flushed red. Girls? Well in my opinion, they are not that interesting. " Hello??? Are you there???" I felt Jiminie's hand waving in front of my face as I snapped from my thought. Great. I was zoning again. I muttered under my breath with pink tinted on both of my cheeks.

I swear I saw Jiminie shooting an amused smile at me before offering his lunchbox to me. " I am afraid if you might stole Jungkook's so I'm offering you mine," he added playfully. At the mention of Kookie's name, I turn to face him immediately because I just realize that he was being so quiet. " Want to share with us?" I asked him with my rectangle smile that made him cracked a small smile.

The bell rang loudly, signaling that recess is over, as we finish eating our lunch.

" So how was school? "

The school is over and I am humming some random tunes when appa start a conversation. " Great! Jiminie hyung is still annoying as usual but you know what?" Appa raised his eyebrow as if saying 'what?'. I pause with a beaming smile before whispering to his ear, " Kookie is studying in the same school as me!" I end the sentence with little giggles. " Anddddd..... why are you so excited? Huuuuuuh???" Appa said, teasing me. "Well he's my new friend," I said with a 'duh' face. He shoot me a knowing smile that left as confuse as ever. We spent the rest of our trip to home with random conversations.
