Shin Mee-Rae came back to her house after that incident. She plopped on the bed as she closed her eyes and her mind started to play a flashback tape.

*Flashback (Shin Mee-Rae's POV) (Bold indicates her thoughts)

Finally that annoying Y/N left. But I miss her, too bad. I wanted to beat her up a little more. 

But with the departure of Y/N there was a new person today to school. Like just after a month she left. Let's see what flowers will he / she bloom in the school's garden.

I was sitting in my Chemistry class which was handled by my class teacher. And it seems she is late today. 

"Alright class... We have a new student joining us today. Please come in and introduce yourself."

Huh ! New classmate it seems. Uninterested.

"Hello everyone. My name is Jeon Jungkook. Please take care of  me." that guy said showing off his bunny smile.

Wow ! He is cool and handsome. Let's try talking to him after class.

"Alright then let's start with the lesson..." 

"Uhm.... Mrs. Lee, Principal Sir needs you for a minute." said someone from outside. 

"I am coming... Ok then just revise yesterday's lesson by the time I return."

"Yes ma'am !"

 Jungkook came and sat right beside my seat. Probably because it was empty.

"Hi.. Your Name ?"

"Hi Jungkook, Shin Mee-Rae..."

"Could you tell me what was yesterday's lesson ?"

"Sure... Chapter 5 from main reader." 

"Ok thank you." He's so cute.

"Can we talk at lunch ? Maybe we can be friends ?" I asked making a move.

"Sure thank you." Yes !! He looks rich. One of a kind.

He became my friend on day 1 itself. And it had already been 2 years to that. We would graduate in about 6 months and were pretty good friends. The entire school knew that we were an inseparable pair. But, there was a problem. I had feelings for him. What if he only saw me as a friend ?

One afternoon, I left a note in his locker saying that I wanted to meet him on the rooftop at lunch. And I saw him read the note but he kind of... frowned. Did he not want to meet ?

"Why does she have to cling around me so much ? I hate it when she is nothing but only annoying. I mean yea.. she is a good friend. But she's way too much kind of... possessive. I see her nothing but as a friend. Let's see what she has to tell." thought Jungkook and shrugged the frown off. 

At the rooftop,

I waited for him to arrive. It had been a pain to hold in all these feelings. Can't wait to confess ! And there he is, running towards me with that smile I loved. 

"Ah....(panting) Sorry... I'm late. Mr. Choi needed me."

"It's fine."

"You wanted to tell me something ?"

"Uh...Uh...Y-Yes..."

"Tell me..."

"It's just that.... I l-like y-you." I said and closed my eyes tightly to face the ground. But they opened when I heard him sigh.

"I am sorry. I don't feel the same. Hope you understand." 

"What are you saying ? Did our bonding mean nothing to you ?" I said not believing his words.

"What do you mean by bonding ? We were just friends."

"Just Friends ?! What's wrong in taking it a step forward ?"

"No, Mee-Rae. You are wrong here. We are friends. I care about you but I don't love you in that way. You need to understand that you are talking about taking a step forward in terms of relationship, and not friendship."

"But what's the problem in giving it a try ?"

"I can't. I am not some sort of a player that I'll agree and dump you afterwards. I can't just say yes and make our bond worse because I can assure you that it'll be one sided."

"Please Kook..." I said, almost crying and holding his hands but he snatched them away.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN PLEASE ?! I SAID IT LOUD AND CLEAR ! NO MEANS NO ! IS THIS THE REASON WHY YOU ARE SO MUCH POSSESSIVE AND CLINGY WHEN I TRY TO TALK TO ANYONE ELSE ? IF YOUR ANSWER IS YES, AND I KNOW IT'S A YES, THEN I AM BREAKING MY FRIENDSHIP WITH YOU HERE ! YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH YOU HAVE HURT ME ! AND AFTER THIS YOU NEED NOT COME AND TALK TO ME." he shouted and left me all alone crying on the rooftop. 

And the next six months, he ignored me and acted cold all the times I tried to talk and apologize. And it continued until Graduation and till he disappeared to be never seen again.

Author's POV

Tears spilled from her eyes at the memories that hurt her the most. This is the reason why she wants Y/N removed from her path. Y/N for Mee-Rae 

is not an enemy but an obstacle.

she has no hatred against you but you are just her jealousy.

And for that she wants a revenge 

and 

Jungkook

from you...
