I stared at you from behind the bars I was supposed to call home and you were a part of the world that I could only imagine.
You told me of the wonders your world hold but I was never strong enough to break free the walls that confined me. You asked me to have courage.
I do have it now, and I am here, watching the sunset that you talked of so dearly. But you are long gone and now a diamond studded in the night sky, giving away whatever little you have to the world.
Don't you worry but, don't let your shine fade cause I am not the coward that I was one. I will join  you there, we can be together then, you can show me things from up there, a better view I guess. Plus for the first time in my life I will be useful to the world rather then just being a burden.
