I got in my car and drove ten minutes to Jace's house. I braced myself for what was about to come.

He was standing outside of his house, crutches underneath his arms keeping him stable.

"You shouldn't be out here."

He laughed, "I was waiting for you Kenz."

I smirked, gently shoving past him as I entered in his house, immediately turning towards the staircase.

"Why are you in such a hurry to get to my room? We can't do anything, so-"

"Jace," I laughed, "for one, I'm pregnant and two, there's something I've been meaning to tell you."

He raised an eyebrow in confusion, turning to shut his bedroom door behind him.

"What is it?"

"Remember at the hospital when you asked me 'what's worth a shot' and I told you that it was work?"

He raised an eyebrow, "I'm guessing now that that really wasn't what you wanted to say."

"I like you." I mumbled under my breath, but I still think he heard me.

"What?" His eyes started to widen.

"I like you, Jace."

"Y-you do? Since when?"

"Forever I guess. I obviously wouldn't have had sex with you if I didn't." I told him, then my eyes widened in realization.

"You also agreed to having sex, which means...you feel the same way, don't you?"

I looked up to see Jace staring down at his feet that were hanging off the bed. I placed my hand on his thigh, letting him know it's okay.

"I guess I have liked you since the beginning, I just never got the chance to tell you." Jace admitted, not looking at me.

I reached out and turned his face towards me. He wouldn't make eye contact until I tilted his chin up, our eyes connecting.

"It's okay."

"No, it's not. I should have told you a long time ago, but I-"

I cut him off by pressing my lips against his. He hesitated for a second before eventually giving in.

My arms snaked around his neck, his one hand on my growing stomach, his other around my waist supporting me.

He pulled away and looked at me, "I love you Mackenzie. I always have, and I wish I would've realized it before."

"I love you Jace."

"So, are we together or no?" I asked Jace as the two of us lied together on his bed.

"Hm, do you want to be together?"

I stifled a laugh, "That depends if you want us to happen. I'm all ears for what you want."

He lifted my chin, kissing my lips. I think I know what he wants, and I'm pretty I know what I want. We both seem to want each other.

"There's your answer Kenz." Jace whispered, putting on our show to watch. I sighed to myself, realizing I can't be in the show for a while until my pregnancy is over.

I can still go to set and sit with Mike as he directs, but other than that, there's nothing I can really do.

"It's going to suck not being able to act with you for fifty months."Jace laughed, exaggerating the whole concept of being pregnant.

"Nine months Jace, nine months."

He placed his hand over my mouth to shut me up, his eyes glued to one of the scenes we did together before he found out I was pregnant.

I'm almost three months pregnant, so I have to carry this baby for six more months.

"Do you want to be a dad?"

"Of course I do. I just wasn't expecting to be one at eighteen."

I nodded, keeping my eyes on my stomach. I wonder what our baby is going to look like. Will it look like Jace? Will it look like me?

"I wasn't either. Obviously I wanted a baby and to hopefully be married by the age of twenty-three. Now I can cross off having a baby."

Jace smiled, "Maybe you can cross off the second thing."

"What are you implying Jace?"

I watched as he smirked, "Maybe one day, I can be not only the baby's father, but the mother's husband."

Butterflies were in stomach as the words left Jace's mouth. Did Jace really want to spend the rest of his life with me? I thought my trust with him would've been gone by now as I lied to him about being pregnant.

"I'm blushing."

"I know."

I cuddled into him, rolling my eyes as I couldn't lie on my stomach like I always did. His arms pulled me in close to him, his lips falling onto my forehead. My eyes fell heavy, and with the thought of falling asleep, I had to text Cooper.

mackenzie:
hey, i'm crashing at jace's tonight

cooper:
okay, i'll see you tomorrow
goodnight

I shut my phone off, plugging it into Jace's charger on his nightstand, not caring if he had to charge his or not.
