"You're pregnant?"

My stomach dropped at the sight of the pregnancy stick in Jace's hand.

"I-I wanted to tell you, but-"

"So you decided to hide it from me? How long?"

I couldn't answer him. Not because I wanted to, it's because I couldn't.

"Almost a month?" It came out almost, no, it did come out as a question.

He dropped the stick and the bag. His eyes widened and his knuckles were turning white.

"A-a month? You knew for a month and didn't tell me about it?! Who else knows? Sean? Riele? Ella? Cooper?"

"I didn't tell you because I knew you'd act just like this! God, Jace, I was scared, okay?! Scared of your reaction to this, scared of what you'd do about this!"

"My reaction doesn't mean anything! What we did was a mistake. I'm mad, more than mad if possible."

My body froze over.

"You're mad?! How could you be mad?! I'm pregnant with our child Jace!"

"I'm mad about you not telling me Mackenzie! Not about the baby, but about how you kept this from me."

I picked up my stuff from the ground and draped it across my shoulder.

"You don't understand how hard it was for me. Maybe take that into consideration."

Right then and there, I stormed out of my dressing room and right out of the doors. I got to my car, and once I was inside, I screamed.

The tears wouldn't stop falling down my face. I started my car and drove back to Cooper's house.

I pulled out my phone with a shaky hand to see messages from the girls and Sean.

ella:
kenz are you okay?

sean:
obviously she's not okay ella
she ran out crying after the reveal
would you be okay if this happened to you?

riele:
GUYS stop fighting
we have to make sure kenz is okay

mackenzie:
i'm not okay, i'm more than not okay
i can't breathe and i think i'm in the middle of a panic attack
you guys need to get here ASAP

riele:
we're on our way, we love you

mackenzie:
i love you guys too

They came in my room somewhat quietly, but they weren't so discreet with their whispering.

"Mackenzie. Before you say anything, hear us all out." Ella said as soon as I looked up at them.

"We're extremely sorry for what we did."

"Yeah. We pushed you too much, when we shouldn't have pushed you at all."

I spoke before anyone else could, "You're right. You shouldn't have, and I should be upset with the three of you."

"As you should." Sean said.

Randomly, I started panicking. My chest was rising rapidly and my pulse accelerated. I felt like my lungs were about to collapse.

I heard loud movement, but it was right before I blacked out.

I woke up, my head pounding. My friends were surrounding my bed, all three of them staring down at me.

"W-what happened? All I remember is starting to have a panic attack." I sat up carefully.

"You did, then you passed out. Probably because of the panic attack."

I rolled my eyes at Sean's lack of knowledge. Sometimes I feel like he resembles his character Jasper a lot.

"If this makes you feel any better, Cooper talked to Mike about you and Jace." Riele said.

I blinked, "What did he say?"

"All he said was that he wants Mike to keep you and Jace away from each other, except for when we're shooting scenes."

I felt a ping of relief rip through me. For a second, I thought Cooper told Mike about me being pregnant.

"Thank god."

Ella groaned and yanked me out of my bed. I flopped onto the floor, my eyes shooting daggers her way.

"Get up, we're taking you out of the house."

I got in Sean's car and he took the four of us to In-N-Out Burger. I paid for myself, although Sean offered a hundred times prior to showing up.

"So, how've you and Ella been?" I pointed between the two.

"Pretty good. We have to keep it on the down-low because of the contract."

I couldn't agree more with that. When we first got the roles, we had to sign a contract saying that we couldn't have any relationship with our costars.

Reason behind that, it could potentially ruin the whole plot of the show and friendships.

"But you, Kenz, you need to keep this on the down-low." Ella pointed to my stomach.

"I know, I know. But in like, I don't know, two or three more months, I'm going to start showing."

Riele's eyes widened, "Oh my god, she will start showing soon!"

Mike's going to have so many questions about my pregnancy. Like, who's the father, how far along. Those types of questions.

"Now you realize it!" I threw my hands up in the air.

I sat back down and munched down on my burger. I drowned out everyone else around me, trying to focus on eating my food.

"Touch my fries and you're a dead boy Sean."

Sean's hand flew back and went back to his own burger he had half gone.

I smiled, finishing up the rest of my food before they took me back to Cooper's.
