(Holy cow, we hit 7.3k reads! I can't thank you guys enough for that amount of reads, when I started out this book I didn't even think it would reach 10 reads. Well, last chapter Mikey FINALLY woke up. His older bros are obviously very relieved and happy. Now that he's awake, how are Mikey and his brothers going to resolve everything? "Mikey!"

The voice of the youngest was all it took for the three turtles to trample him with hugs. Mikey cringed in a bit of pain from the tight hugs, but smiled at finally seeing his family again.

Donnie smiled, with a tear of happiness trailing down his right cheek. "Gosh Mikey, please don't ever do anything like that again." Donnie said, hugging his brother even tighter.

Raph let go of the hug, and quickly wiped away a few tears that made their way out of his eyes. "You bonehead! Do you know how worried we were about you?" Raph asked, lightly putting a hand on Mikey's shoulder.

"I-I guess pretty worried." Mikey croaked, his voice raspy from a dry throat. Leo patted Mikey on the top of his head. "It's just could to see you okay, little brother." He said with a small smile.

Splinter smiled warmly. "Michelangelo, it is good to have you okay, my son. We all missed you greatly." He said, wiping a tear away himself.

"I missed you all too, father." Mikey replied, coughing as he tried to clear his throat. Splinter hugged Mikey, glad that his son was okay.

After a while of hugging and tears, Splinter left to meditate, wanting to see Mikey's current spirit condition.

The three older brothers were left to check Mikey's physical condition. His heart rate had finally gone to normal, and his severe wounds seemed to be healing, but it would take time.

As Donnie tightened a wrap on Mikey's arm, he noticed how quiet it had grew in the past few hours again. After weeks of Mikey not being okay, he wanted to apologize.

"Mikey, does the wrap feel okay?" Donnie asked, his eyes flicking up to Mikey's gaze. Mikey nodded his head slowly. "Mhm.. thanks D." He said, his eyes trailing back to the wall.

Leo leaned against the wall, and Raph sat near Mikey. The two eldest kept a hard watch on him, noticing his behavior obviously seemed off.

Donnie took a hesitant breath. This was going to be hard to say, but Donnie knew he had to apologize.  

"Mikey... I'm sorry that this all happened." Donnie said, catching Mikey off guard with the apology. 

"W-what?" Mikey stuttered. Why would Donnie need to apologize? He was the one who caused his family all this pain.

"No, we're all sorry." Leo said, walking over to his brothers. "What we did and said to you, is something I could never forgive myself for doing." Leo admitted, his eyes showing guilt and regret.

"But you guys were right! I was goofing off way too much, and I caused you guys all this pain. It's my fault." Mikey sadly said. Raph looked at Mikey like he had grown two heads.

"Your fault? Mike, are ya crazy? It's no where near your fault. Shell, I'll take the whole blame. I wish I never said anyone of those things about you, not anyone of those words were true about you. You never goof off too much, it's your instinct to bring around positivity. And if anything, we all brought you pain I wish you never had to endure." Raph said, shocking Mikey with his words.

Mikey couldn't understand why he couldn't believe his brothers. They were saying it wasn't his fault, but he solely felt responsible for all of this. He goofed off, he got depressed, he got controlled by Shadow, he hurt Leo.. and he attempted suicide. His brothers had sat by during his coma, and he heard their cries. He brought them pain for being gone.

"I-I just think.." Mikey stopped himself, his emotions getting the best of him as bubbly tears started to fill his eyes. "I just think I caused a whole mess. I listened to Shadow and hurt Leo. I even jumped off a building for suicide!" Mikey started shaking slightly, shutting his eyes.

"What you guys said hurt, it hurt more than any of my injuries ever right now could. I felt so unwanted. But I wished I had just talked to you guys, and not have grown so depressed." He muttered, blinking his eyes open.

Leo bit his lip. His baby brother needed much help more than he could imagine. Leo put an arm over Mikey's shoulder, which caused him to stop shaking. "Mikey tell me, did you want to hurt me?" Leo asked.

What kind of question was that supposed to be? Mikey shook his head. "No of course not, it was.." Mikey stopped midway. He realized what Leo was trying to make him understand.

"It was Shadow, not you in control. The Mikey I know wouldn't harm a fly unless he needed to. When you attacked me, it wasn't you in control. It was that demon clouding your mind." Leo said. 

"Mikey, you had every right to feel hurt. You had the right to feel depressed, though you never should have felt that way in the first place. It was our careless words and actions that led you to this, Shadow also being apart of it. And though suicide is never the answer, you were just at such a bad point that you felt you had no other choice." Mikey nodded his head slowly, listening to Leo's words.

"Mikey, what I'm trying to say is, there were things that caused you to do things you didn't want to do, us being a major reason. Our carelessness led to your depression, to Shadow taking over, and for almost losing you. We're grateful for you, and we love you Mikey. Please don't feel like your self worth is ever any less, none of this is your fault. We're sorry." Leo finished. 

Mikey finally felt heavier tears flow as Leo hugged him. He sobbed quietly, and Leo rubbed the back of his shell. Donnie and Raph glanced at each other, each feeling a string of their heart tugged seeing the youngest so upset.

After Mikey calmed down, he let go of the hug. "You guys don't have to be sorry, I forgive you guys, and love you guys."

"We love you too, Mikey." Raph said, sitting next to him. All three brother soon found themselves hugging Mikey again. 

"And no matter what, we're going to get through whatever you're dealing with together, no matter how long it takes." Donnie said, determination in his voice.

For the first time, in a long time, Mikey smiled. Not a fake one, but a true one. He still had many dark feelings to get over and it would take time for him to recover. But no matter what, his brothers were going to help him through it. 

He felt a spark of his old self inside, maybe starting to come back.

Splinter had opened his eyes. After a long mediation, he had seen Mikey was slowly starting to collect the pieces of his old self. As far as time could tell, Mikey's spirit would be were it once was again, happy.

He exited the dojo, and was surprised to find total silence through out the lair. As he approached the lab, he slowly slid open the door letting some light creep into the dark room.

As he peered in, a smile went across his face. Mikey was fast asleep on his make-shift bed, but his brothers were right there with him. Leonardo had fallen asleep at the foot of the bed, Raphael fell asleep in a chair near Mikey, and Donatello was laid down next to Mikey.

Splinter knew after bad events, his sons always felt safer together when they slept. He walked in, fixing Mikey's pillow after it had turned a bit. Mikey's face didn't hold pain while he was asleep, but rather comfort.

Splinter kissed each one of his sons goodnight, and exited the lab. As the brothers slept, he felt a heavy feeling of joy in his heart. Michelangelo was back and okay, and they all had forgiven each other.

The family was a whole once again, and things were starting to look up.
