"Sting ...where's everyone else.."

He looks away and starts the ship

"Sting"

I whispered nervously hoping there was a reasonable answer for this

"Sting!-"

"There not coming lucy! "He screamed back at me as the ship started to levitate

I quickly darted my eyes to the big screen showing our friends trying to run towards the ship with the gas not so far behind them

"Sting open the doors now!"

"I can't do that lucy"

"There are frien-"

"No! there your friends lucy and my job here is only to protect you!"

My eyes started to water as I heard bagging from outside.

"Lucy! Sting open up!"

I tried to run to the doors but a force held me in place

"I'm not going to let that happen lucy sorry.."

The banging got louder then suddenly stopped. The ship started flying upwards slowly, allowing me to take a glance towards the screen.
My friends fell to the floor struggling to breathe, clawing for the ship to come back

"You killed our friends"I cried as I started to cry

"I saved our lives.." he spoke back
