I hid behind a rock. Breathing heavily. My black hood Hanging low over my eyes. My back was wet from the Snow covered ground. The black dragon ran up sticking his nose to the ground and sniffing around like a hound. His head turned towards the rock I was sitting behind. I got up on my feet in a crouching position. I took a deep breath and ran. Ran as fast as I could. But the black dragon was too fast. It soon caught up to me. Pinning me to the ground.

Third person~~

Slerp! Toothless licked you up and down untill you barrel rolled out from under him and sat up. "Haha, he got you good y/n!" Hiccup walked out of the Snow covered bush laughing and smirking at you with his giant smile. "It's harder than it looks. He's got that sniffer of his." You were kneeling down and holding toothlesses nose and strokeing  his face. He rubbed his nose on yours and you rubbed back. "Such a cute boy! Yes you are!" Babying toothless was your favorite pastimes. He knocked your hood off. Hiccup was laughing. "You need more practice, tomorrow same time." Hiccup said. "Your right, I can do better and I am REALLY out of practice! But Astrid can get mean if you spend to much time with me and not to much time with her."

"While we're on the topic, do you know why she gets soooooo jealous?"

"It probably has something to do with her being a control freak... OR it could be becase she is dating the chief's son that kind of trained a nightfury, that is also gawked at by almost every girl on this island... or something like that."

"Almost every girl??"

Y/n's p.o.v.~~

"Oh Hiccup, your so clueless!" I facepalmed.

"Wait what!?" He asked still confused. I sighed. This poor ignorant child.

"Hiccup, do I really have to go over this..." he looked down and rubbed his neck "ok, you know when Marget comes up to you and asks about toothless?"

"Yeah."

"She's flirting with you. Thats why she laughs after everything you say." Your voice was flat.

"Ok, um y-yeah that would make sense. You laughed "Ok well go to Astrid." You made go-leave-now motions with your hands and he ran back through the woods. Toothless looked at you he gave you a sometimes he forgets he has a dragon face and walks after him.

Later in the town~~~

(Hiccup's p.o.v.)
Was y/n right, did every girl in town like me? Did she like me? That would be amazing! Wait! NO! she doesn't! She is your best friend Hiccup. But she was pretty with her (h/l) (dark/light) (h/c) hair. Not forgeting her (e/c) orbs that seemed to peek further than just the outside. Her eyes peered into your very soul. She always knew what was wrong. She cared more about others than herself. She hates Astrid but she still spoke up when I was going to spend the day with her instead of Astrid. My thought bubble poped as Astrid threw an ax an inch away from my head in a sudden burst of a anger I screamed "Why on Thor's good earth would you throw an axe at my head!"

"I didn't."

"Then what was that!"

"Listen Hiccup if I threw an axe at your head you wouldn't be alive to have this arguement with me." Anger boiled inside her.

"I didn't mean to offend you!"

"Well that's what it feels like!"
"Y/n would have never had done that." I whispered under my breath.

"It's over Hiccup."

"What?"

"Us. It's over. You obiously care more about y/n than you do about me. So go be happy with her. Or any other girl on the island, I see the way they all look at you." She sniffed. I was shocked what just happened! I walked home. Defeated.

Pow! I hit something falling on my back. Something fell on top of me! "Oh! Hi Hiccup!" A female voice said laughing. I groaned and sat up. Someone was sitting on my lap. I opened my eyes. They met with beautiful (e/c) orbs. Right behind them was the reddest face I have ever seen. "Y/n?"

"Yeah, sorry!" She laughed and closed her eyes. I laughed too and scratched behind my head. My face was burning.

"Ok Hiccup what's wrong, what happened?" She held my face. She was still sitting on my lap her legs to the sides of my thighs. She rested her forehead on mine.

"What happened to you?"

"Me and Astrid broke up. Well she ended it..." I paused tears welling "...Y/n it hurts." She hugged me pulling my head into her chest. My tears wet her shirt. "It's ok. Your going to be alright. Your fine, it's ok." She pulled away at the sametime as me. I said nothing. "Are you going to be ok?" She asked. I shook my head no. She looked sympathetically at me.

"What do you want me to do?" She asked standing up. I stood up as well.

Y/n's p.o.v.~~

Hiccup stood up after I did. "Can you stay with me?" He asked. My face blew up. "Huh, um, y-yeah I-I guess."

"Thank you." Hiccup hugged me. I closed my eyes and leaned in to his chest. Wrapping my arms up around his, breathing in the earthy sent that clung to his furry vest and shirt.

"You wanna go on a ride with me and Toothless. We usually go flying around this time."

"Yeah, that would be nice." I smiled at his offer. We got on toothless me behind Hiccup. Surprisingly I had never rode a dragon before. "Ok, hold on." he wrapped my hands around his chest. My face is not going to get a break from blushing like crazy. When Toothless first took off my face was in Hiccups back and I saw nothing. We kept going straight up, I could feel it. The flight suddenly became very smooth. I took my face out of his back and looked immediately down. I squealed and held on tighter to Hiccup. "You'll be fine." He said with a choked voice. I eased up my grip on his chest "sorry."

"It's fine."

I looked up at the sun setting over the island of berk. The sky was a mess of color. I rested my head on Hiccups shoulder. We landed on a cliff judding out from the side of the island. Hiccup slipped off and helped me down. I immediately ran to the side of the cliff. "It's so amazing." I turned to look at hiccup who was playing in the dirt with his foot, his one hand was set on his hip the other was behind his head rubbing his neck.

"You know y/n, I'm going to be completely honest with you, Astrid broke up with me and said that if I liked you so much than I should be with you..." I laughed.

Hiccups p.o.v.~~

Y/n laughed then said "Sorry, but you don't like me like that!"

"Yeah but y/n, I- I..." I took a deep breath and walked strait up to y/n. I looked into her eyes and set my hands behind her head intwining my fingers into her hair. I leant down pushing my lips onto hers. My heart sank as she did absolutely nothing. She didn't pull away though. Then after a little she leaned in as well kissing back. I moved my hands from her head to her waist. Her hands snaked around my neck. She does like me back! We kept the kiss passionate and clean.

Third person~~

Hiccup and y/n pulled away at the same time. Y/n bit her lip.

"We should go back to the town." Hiccup said. "Yeah." Y/n responded. She walked over to Toothless

"Hey Hiccup?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I drive?"

"Uhm, you can sit in front but only my leg can open his tail."

"I have an idea."

Y/n was sitting in front of Hiccup his leg was in the latch so Toothlesses tail would open. Hiccup was leaning over y/n's back so he could see when he had to change the tail. Y/n leaned back into Hiccups shoulder, she turned and kisses him on the check. He smiles wide. The she does something no one would ever expect. She jumped off of Toothless flying through the air.

Hiccup's p.o.v.~~

Y/n jumped off of Toothless! I had done that a thousand times but this was her first time even riding Toothless. I jumped down after her sending Toothless falling as well as me and y/n. She was spinning down. Laughing? I angled my self so I would fall with her. "Hey Hiccup!" She was smiling. "This. Is. So. Fuuuuuuuunnnnnnn!" Toothless had reached our altitude and was sticking his toung out. Y/n laughed harder at Toothlesses funny face. I closed my eyes and tilted my head down. I opened my eyes and saw the ground aproching fast. Toothless and y/n were falling with her on his back they grabbed my sholders so i wouldn't hit the ground and some how y/n managed to open Toothlesses tail.  I was set gentially on to the ground. Toothless landed a little bit farther up but they were both safe.
Time skipppppp!

I woke up the next moring with a warm figure in my arms. E/c eyes met my dark green orbs. "Morning." She smiled.

"You slept in my bed." I smirked.

She rolled her eyes and laughed.
