It was early and the sun has begun to rise behind Berk when the dragonriders was on a training mission.

"You'r turn Fishlegs!" Hiccup shouted.

Fishlegs nodded and begun to fly faster towards the tiny wooden ship before Meatlug shot out a fireball past Snotlout (who was support to protect the wooden ship)and hit the ship who exploded.

He heard cheering from the others and a mutter from Snotlout.

Fishlegs gave Meatlug a light push and fly up to Hiccup, Astrid and the twins, Snotlout long forgotten.

"Now its your turn Hiccup. Show them what a Nightfuru could do!!"

Fishlegs shouted and gave Hiccup a grin.

Hiccup grin back and chanced Toothless tail fin.

"Whatever you say Fishlegs." Hiccup say before he fly with max speed towards the ship.

Fishlegs turned around and saw that Snotlout was not there.

Fishlegs mutter for himself but Astrid must have heard him.

"What, is Snotlout..? "

She looks around and sigh.

"..gone?"

"He is. Aga.. " Fishlegs was interrupted by a loud scream and a crash.

He quickly turn around and saw Toothless falling, but the biggest problem is that Hiccup was not in the saddle. By the time Hiccup falling, Snotlout try to stady himself.

Astrid was quick and started fly forward to catch him, but Hiccup has already hit the burning ship with a loud crash then he fall through the floor.

Toothless crash in the water, but quickly trying despretly to get into the burning ship.

Astrid was in action, jumping of Stormfly in the air and landning on the ship. She took a deep breath and jumped down where Hiccup has fallen through.

She found him, on his back, in his arm in a verk veird position but he seemed okay, for now.

She run forward and kneeled down, placering one arm under his back and one under his knees, and begun to rise then she heard Hiccup cry out in pain. She cough before she spoke.

"Im sorry Hiccup I has to get you out of here!"

"Please..."

"Stormfly!!" Astrid scream when she feel the ship begun to sink, she could feel water under her knees.

A loud crash was heard when Stormfly jumped down, worried about what could make her rider scream like that. Astrid coughed again, this time it sounded dryer.

Astrid lifted Hiccup, winced of how light he was, and jumped on Stormflys back.

"Get us out of here girl!!" Astrid said before she cough again, her eyes stinging with the smoke.

Stormfly fly out of the ship and Astrid stopped Stormfly in the air. She took a deep breath of fresh air before she looked at Hiccup in her lap.

He's hair was matted like a dog to his forehead, becuse of the warmt of the fire she through and his arm was defently broken. She could say no more before she heard Fishlegs screaming.

"How could you just fly away when they fall?! Toothless can't fly on hos own!! Stop this Snotlout," He screamed when Snotlout opend his mouth to talk.

"Do you know who you should apologize to?! Hiccup And Toothless only!"

Astrid winced again. She has never heard Fishlegs so angry.

Then she heard :

"Astrid! Did you get him?!"

Fishlegs fly up to Astrid and looked like he was about to faint.

"We need to get Gothi! " He say.

Astrid agreed.

"Quickly, I think he's arm is broken!"

Fishlegs nodded and turned around and begun to fly to Gothis hut while Astrid shouted for the others to come.

"Is he ok?" Snotlout ask but gets quiet when he saw him.

"No. Fishlegs is getting Gothi, I go get Stoick."

"What?! He will get very angry! "

"But what if Hiccups life depends on it!!" Astrid screaming, now very angry herself.

"...and get Toothless out of the water!!"

Toothless desperetly trying to get out of the water but failed. He let out a small cry when Astrid flying away with Hiccup.

With those words she fly of, leaving very worried and schocked Snotlout behind. Even if it didn't seem like it , Snotlout did care for his cousin.

When Astrid got to Stoicks hut she hugs Hiccup tightly and jump of Stormfly. If she's onest to herself, she is really scared when she punch the door with her boot.

Her heartbeat speeded up when Stoick opend the door, a schocked expression on his face.

"Astrid...explain!! "

He shouted as he took Hiccup in his own arms and brushes a little hair from his face.

So Astrid explain everything from when Hiccup fall into the burnings ship, until when she thinks his arm is broken, and stop where she screamed at Snotlout, compleatly out of breath.

Stoick looked at the limp Hiccup in his arms with a worried expression.

"Very well. Go get Gothi." he said.

"Fishlegs is getting her." she panted.

"Good, and thanks Astrid, for telling me. "

Before Astrid could anwser Stoick closed the door.

He carried Hiccup up the stairs and laid him on his bed.

"Snotlout how could you?!" Astrid screamed when Snotlout entered the Great hall.

Snotlouts grin fell and his boots suddenly become very intresting.

"Well...I was planning to distract him so I could win.."

"Win?! That was not a competition Snotlout!! It was training!!" Astrid was now very very angry.

She punched him in the arm hard.

"When Hiccup wakes up you are own him a apologize!!"

Snotlout simply nodded before he took his plate and walked out of the Great hall.

Everyone chocked looked after him.

Hiccup begun to stir and moaned loud.He rested himself at one elbow while he put the others on his head. He had bandage on his head.

What had happend? He winced when his arm hurt horrible. He has bandage there too.

He sat up and swung his legs over the egde.

He should not have done that. Pain stung his head like a lightning and his stomach begun to roll dangerously. He quickly laid back down, a little to quick and cried out in pain as his head hit his pillow hard and quickly start massaging his head with his good arm when he felt vomit in his throut.

He could no stop it and he laid on his stomach on the egde of the bed and vomited. He vomited up everything in his stomach.

He heard footsteps in the stair and in less than a second he felt a hand rubbing his back.

After a few minutes of panting, and he was sure he would not vomit again he looked up and saw his father looked at him with a light smile.

"Your awake!" he happy said and gave Hiccup a tight embrace.

"Dad! Can't...breath.."

"Right sorry." he said and let Hiccup go.

"How long was I out?" Hiccup carefully ask.

"A few hours...you gave us quite a scare Hiccup." His father smile.

Hiccup smiled back, but then he rembered the pain in his head and made a grimace of pain.

His fathers smile fainted.

"Are you alright?"

"My head hurts."

Stoick put one hand at Hiccups back and one under his head as he laid Hiccup down carefully.

"I go get an ice block." with those words his father begun to climb the stairs.

Hiccup chanced his head to the side and looked as his father leaves. Before he knows it he was sound asleep.

Next time he woke up he felt something cold to his forehead. It felt fantastic. He chanced his head to the side and opened his sore eyes. To his chock Snotlout sat there, and held the ice block to his head.

"Hey cousin." Snotlout gently said and smiled gently.

Hiccup was a little comfused. Was he dreaming? Snotlout would never be this nice to him.

"I understand if you are comfused Hiccup. "

Hiccup slowly tried to pull himself up at his elbows, when a hissing pain reminded him that his arm was broken. Snotlout let the ice block down and put one hand under Hiccups back and laid his back down.

"Take it easy."

"It toothless okay?!" Hiccup now remebered the sight when Toothless falls into the water.

"He is fine. He is not allowed in here now through." Snotlout sigh.

"Please go get him." Hiccup pleaded.

"I cant..."

"Please..."

Snotlout sighed.

"I go talk to you'r dad."

He rises up and wlking down the stairs. Hiccup could hear voices and he hoped with all his heart that his father would allow Toothless to come up.

After a while Toohtless burst through the door and run to Hiccups bed.

Hiccups cried out in joy and sat up and held out his arms. Toothless happy gave Hiccup a hug. Hiccup clethed to Toothless throat like that was the only solid thing in the world. He closed his eyes and just sat there. Toothless purred uneasly.

"I'm glad you'r okay Toothless!" Hiccup finaly said and released him.

Toothless licked Hiccups cheek and It was like he said:

"It will be okay."

Hiccup smiled widely.

He heard someone clean his throat and looked up only to see Stoick and Snotlout standing in the doorway, a big smile on their faces.

Hiccup blushed.

Stoick was the first to break the silence;

"You should have seen him downstairs. He really was worried about you.He refused to eat or even sit still for a moment."

Toothless licks Hiccup cheek again and purred , this time happy. Hiccup put his good arm around Toothless neck.

"Thanks bud."

The two men smiled even wider.

Then Stoick said:

"Astrid is down there and wants to see you. I wanted to ask you first. Is it okay for her to come?"

Hiccup smile grew wider.

"Yeah its okay."

Stoick nodded and winked before he walked downstairs.

"Come snotlout!"

Snotloud winked to and Hiccup blushed more before he left.

Astrid walks up the stair. She is pretty nervous. Why? Yeah she wonders that too. Hiccup is her friend. Maybe more than a friend?

She push Hiccups door open and se the boy with bandage on his head and arm, sitting and scrathes Toothless under his chin. He purred happy.

"Uhm..Hiccup?"

He turn his head to se his girlfr...his FRIEND at the door. He smile widened.

"H..hi Astrid." Damn.

Astrid smiled too.

"Are you feeling okay?"

"Yeah, but my back is pretty burned and..." Damn it Hiccup. Too much information.

But Astrid just nodded and sat down on his bed and took over in the action to scrath Toothless under the chin.

"It will get better you know."

"Yeah."

Astrid stop to scrath Toothless and turned to Hiccup. She leaned closer.

"...I...Are you sure you'r fine?"

"Yeah."

"Good. Than I should problebly...just...leave then..." She leaned back.

Disepointment was seen in Hiccups face but he simply nodded.

"See you then."

Astrid nodded.

"Yeah.."

She really just wanted to lean in again and kiss him, but it was too soon. She didn't want to ruin their friendship yet, even if she knows that Hiccup is in love with her, and she really liked him, but she has already kissed him once, and she didn't know if she liked him that way. Not yet...
