They were flying for days - camping on islands at night, and continuing their way at sunrise.

Soon they saw a huge volcano on the horizon.

Hiccup looked at the map.

"This is it! We're there!" he brightened.

The friends descended on the island.

"Look!" Fishlegs cried, "There are the footsteps!"

There were indeed dragon footsteps on the beach.

The gang followed the steps, entering deep into the forest.

Soon they came up to a river, where there was a huge green dragon sleeping!

"That's him!" Hiccup whispered, "Now let's quietly approach it... Remember, don't hurt it".

The dragon was calmly slumbering, as if it were a harmless little pet.

"It doesn't look so destructive," Ruffnut whispered.

"You tell it when it wakes up," Tuffnut grinned.

But oh, there was something more than a dragon near the river... There was a blond girl sleeping, put the head on the dragon!

She was wearing wolf fur clothes and wolf head as a hood. Surprisingly for the gang, she didn't have a right arm... as if it was bitten off.

"Hey! A girl!" Snotlout widened eyes, "She's such a beauty..."

"Snotlout hush!" Hiccup whispered, frowning, "We're here not for her".

"So what, I'm taking her," he smirked.

Hiccup rolled eyes and slowly approached the sleeping dragon.

Toothless was watching him surprised.

"Steady... steady..." Hiccup was approaching the dragon little by little, stretching out his hand, trying to put it on his nose and tame him.

Very little was left, when the green eyelids suddenly opened and yellow, sharp orbs glanced at the boy.

"Uh oh," Hiccup stepped back.

The dragon frowned and growled terribly.

"Ah! Toothless!" Hiccup, frightened, ran back and jumped onto his dragon.

Meanwhile the girl also woke up and fearfully looked at the uninvited guests.

"Ah! Strangers!" she exclaimed, and hid behind the green dragon, which, surprisingly for the guys, wasn't hurting her.

Toothless and the dragon growled at each other.

"Toothless, calm down bud," Hiccup tried to calm his dragon, and then turned to the girl, "Don't be scared, we won't hurt you..."

"Hurt me? Who do you think you are to hurt me?" she chuckled, and jumped onto the green dragon, "Bloodwing, show these haughty people who's the real boss!"

Instantly the green dragon growled and spitted red flame out of its mouth!

"Move out!" Hiccup cried and flew off. The friends followed him.

"Haha! Now who's scared?" the girl giggled.

"Listen, why don't we sort this out without a fight?" Hiccup puckered.

"Maybe because I'm still the strongest and I will win?" the girl giggled, "Besides, you possess a night fury, tough boy..." she grinned.

"I'm a tough boy!" Tuffnut grumbled.

"So what if I have a night fury?" Hiccup raised eyebrow.

"Nothing particular, I possess a wisdom fire, the only representative of its species, plus I'm a dragon destroyer, I've already defeated a skrill so night fury is my next target, that's it," she smiled.

"Wait, wait, wait... You're a dragon destroyer?" Hiccup got astonished, "We thought they were extinct!"

"Alas, I'm the last representative of my tribe, that is why Bloodwing and I understood each other," she caressed her wisdom fire, "But enough talk! Let's fight! This will be a glorious battle between a night fury, and a wisdom fire! Two mightiest dragons of them all!" she giggled happily.

"Is it only me, or is that girl crazy?" Tuffnut whispered.

"She is brother," Ruffnut answered.

"Wait, wait, I don't want to fight!" Hiccup frowned, "Listen, your dragon is attacking our island! Leave it, and we will never bother you again".

"Your island? Oh, wait... So you're Berkians?" she grinned, "Oh, I was waiting for this day for so long! This will indeed be a glorious battle, dragon destroyer against Berkians!"

"Why are you attacking Berk?" Hiccup puckered.

"Why? Because your people banished my people from the island, very long time ago! Dragon destroyers still couldn't forget that day! We lived on this island since then, which wasn't so fertile, the only thing we could eat were salmons! Then a fleet of Bard the Terrible attacked my island, burned down my village and killed everyone! My mother hid me in the woods, so they couldn't find me, and left me there. "Sorry tough boy, I'm a dragon destroyer, after all, thank me for not killing your dragon right now," she grinned, "Bloodwing, fire!"

The wisdom fire blew out an orange flame!

"Hiccup, look out!" Astrid cried, and flew in front of the fire, taking it herself!

"Astrid!" Hiccup widened eyes.

Astrid and Stormfly fell onto the ground.

"Oh, nice shot!" the dragon destroyer giggled.

"What have you done?!" Hiccup raged, "Toothless, blast!"

Toothless blasted out plasma. Bloodwing dodged it again with her wings and blew out red flame!

Toothless flew aside, but lost his balance and fell on the ground.

"Well, tough Berkian, looks like your little night fury lost against my wisdom fire..." the girl chuckled, "See you soon on Berk, losers!" and she rapidly flew away, disappearing on the horizon.

Hiccup stood up, coughed and looked at Astrid, who was lying on the ground, with burn marks!

"Astrid!" he ran up to her. Other friends came up to her too.

"Astrid, answer me! Please!" Hiccup got worried.

"Hiccup..." Astrid murmured, "You okay..."

"Yes, I'm alright, don't worry... You will be okay, you will be fine..."

Hiccup took Astrid with him on Toothless, and Stormfly followed them alone. They returned to Berk.

"Son, what happened?" Stoick ran up to Hiccup, when he saw burned and weakened Astrid.

"Long story dad, will tell you later..." Hiccup sighed, "Now main is to heal Astrid..."

Astrid was taken to her bed. They were treating her for ten days. Hiccup was always asking about her condition. Luckily, she soon recovered, and the Berkians took measures for the next wisdom fire attack...
