It was a regular day on berk and Astrid was doing her morning routine.  Axe throwing. She was supposed to meet up with Hiccup but as he is cheif now , he had obviously forgotten.

Astrid's pov

Astrid sighed and sat down on a near by log, sharpening her axe's blade. The only thing that needs sharpening is Hiccup's brai-

"Boom, CRACK," lightning and sounds of thunder filled the sky of berk. 

Astrid looked up at tye sky with a sigh she was a good walk away from the village and Stormfly was resting back at her house. Where were the two people she loved most when she needed them. Then giant sized rain drops fell onto the ground, trees, flowers and Astrid.

"Seriously...no wonder people always complain about catching their death of cold out here." Astrid began to walk at a fast pace towards the village. Where was Hiccup she thought.

Hiccup's pov

How have i found being cheif? To be honest hard, it's taking up all my time and by time i finish for the day I'm usually exausted and all Toothless wants to to is play. Not to mention I don't get to spend as much time with Astrid...WAIT...OH NO, i was supposed to meet up with Astrid three hours ago hopefully she isn't to upset.

Astrid's pov 

I finally reach my house, I unlocked the door to a toastie room.

"Aaah, so good." I sit in front of the fire to let my cloths dry.

"What's so good, M'lday?" Hiccup asked with a sheepish grin, " wait, Astrid your soaking wet!"

"Well i was waiting for my hot date in the woods for lunch but he didn't show up..." Astrid smirked.

"Oh, what a simplton," He joked and wrapped his arms around Astrid's waist, " I'm really sorry, beautiful, I know I'm cheif now but I'm going to make more time for you I promise."

Astrid smiled as Hiccup kissed her wet hair and then noticed blood dripping of her arm.

"Astrid you're bleeding, how did you not notice?" Hiccup walked over to the sink area and quickly grabbed a cloth from the counter. " there you go."

"Hiccup, stop it, it hurts," Astrid tried to pull away but Hiccup kept a hand around her waist.

"Sorry but i need to take care of you because you won't do so yourself." Hiccup got up and found a bandage, " there you go, feel okay?" Hiccup's gaze shifted from her arm to her eyes.

" yep but i need one more thing from you." Astrid giggled gidderly.

"What?" Hiccup smiled back.

"A kiss, i scrapt my knee falling for you...literally." Astrid bursted out laughing as Hiccup shook his head.

"Come here you." Hiccup took Astrid around the waist and dipped her as they kissed.

What a perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon.
