(A/N: I was re-watching the first HTTYD movie and this came to mind during the, "Astrid Goes For A Spin," scene. Set at the end of HTTYD 3. Spoilers are included. FYI, short chapter.)

Feeling the wind blow in his hair like that once again after six years felt amazing and his stomach flipped every time Toothless turned. Holding Destin in his arms, the three moved in sync.

As Toothless dived and flew up again, Hiccup threw his son in the air before catching him again. The boy's laughter was heard and Hiccup smiled, hugging him tight against his chest as Toothless dove before flying up into the clouds.

"Again!" Destin yelled happily and Hiccup threw him into the air as Toothless stopped mid-air before falling backwards. Hiccup caught him and they spun around before leveling out.

"Look at mommy!" Destin exclaimed and pointed in the sky. Hiccup smiled watching his wife fly over him on Stormfly, his daughter Thora giggling.

The Light Fury flew up beside them and grumbled. Toothless gave her a gummy smile before three small black and white Night Lights appeared around them.

Destin giggled and leaned forward in his dad's arms, scratching the small hatchling on the stomach.

The small dragon gave away a dragon-y laugh before Astrid flew up beside them.

Hiccup smiled at her and they exchanged kids. He grabbed Thora's hand and pulled her against him before flying off, the girl laughing in excitement at the rush of Toothless' speed.

Hiccup kissed his daughters head, loving that he could show her how he lived and how much fun he used to have with Toothless.

He had missed being in the air so much.

"Astrid?" He asked and the blonde appeared beside him, giving him a smile. "Yes, Hiccup?"

"Mind taking her for a minute?" He asked and gave her a lopsided smile. "Oh gods," She said as she pulled her daughter over into Stormfly.

He was surely going to do something reckless.

Leaning forward, he put his hand on Toothless head and whispered, "You ready, bud?"

Toothless grumbled and looked at him, his tongue hanging out of his mouth. "Let's go!" Hiccup said before grabbing the side of Toothless neck for support, - riding without a saddle was a little tricky - and the two started to plummet towards the ocean below them.

"Dad!" The two kids yelled, watching their father fall towards the ocean.

The Night Fury gave off his recognizable shriek before plasma blasts.

The black dragon opened his wings before hitting the ocean and the two flew up into the air at breakneck speed, heading their way.

Stormfly moved with a squawk to give them space and watched them too.

The two started spinning like the first time Toothless had taken Astrid on a "revenge" flight to teach her a lesson. The two halted in mid-air before starting to plummet towards the ocean again, doing crazy spins that made Hiccup cry out in happiness.

"That's your father for you," Astrid said and hugged her children closer to her, watching her husband.

A big smile was spread across her lips. She hadn't seen Hiccup being this happy in a very long time, - he was happy when he was with her and their children but she knew that the constant worrying about Toothless being okay was weighing his mood down.

Finally, she had her husband back.

He was happy and that was all that mattered to her at that moment.
