"Last lap!" Gobbler yelled. Hiccup halted Toothless in the air to look at him and have him a nod before shooting off again.

Hiccup could hear his fiancé yell at her dragon to go faster and he smiled, turning his head to look over at her.

Astrid caught his eye and smiled with a wave before flying up to him as they neared where the black sheep was always shot up.

"Beautiful morning, M'lady," Hiccup said and looked forward.

Five seconds left.

"It is, Chief," Astrid said and looked forward, hearing the catapult go off. "I'll take that, thank you," Hiccup said and speeded forward, letting Toothless snatch the black sheep out of the air right in front of Astrid.

"Hey! Not fair! You'll pay for that once we finish here," Astrid yelled at him and steered Stormfly after him.

The Deadly Nadder squeaked and beat her wings faster, catching up to the Night Fury.

"Toothless, up," Hiccup whispered to the dragon and he grumbled, taking a sudden stop in the air and shooting upwards.

Meatlug and Hookfang crashed into each other and started falling towards the sea. Everyone laughed when there was a big splash in the water and groans heard from below.

"Stormfly, up!" Astrid yelled and took a halt, flying upwards, after Toothless.

"Nice of you to join, M'lady," Hiccup said and gave her a smile. Astrid smiled back at him mischievously. "I'm gonna get you, Hiccup," She said and neared him.

Toothless grumbled at Stormfly and she squawked, nodding her head once.

The two suddenly stopped flapping their wings and started plummeting towards the finish line and the baskets.

Toothless shot two Plasma Blasts that exploded just above the baskets and screams where heard.

Stormfly threw Astrid off or her and she landed behind Hiccup. He grabbed her waist and held her there.

Toothless opened his wings and they came to a slow halt in the air above the people. "Toothless, go!" Hiccup yelled and they flew towards the great hall, making a lap around the island.

Astrid wound her arms around his waist and looked at him. "Hiccup, what are you doing?" Astrid asked. Hiccup turned his head and smiled at her.

"I always wanted to do this," He said and pressed his lips against hers, hard.

Astrid pulled away a few moments later when she heard Toothless grumble and she squeezed his sides. "Hiccup, look out," She said and the Chief turned forwards, his eyes widening.

They were about to fly into the baskets. He steered Toothless down and they splashed water into Fishlegs and Snotlout before flying up and dropping the sheep into the blue basket.

"Astrid wins the race!" Gobber says and Hiccup turns around to look at his fiancé. "Why'd you do that for!?" She asked and pushed him in the shoulder.

"Because I wanted to. And because no matter how many prizes you win, nothing will compare to you, my beautiful General," He said in a low and husky voice.

Astrid rolled her eyes and Hiccup looked forward, steering Toothless to their house where Stormfly was already waiting.

Astrid sighed and leaned onto him, chest pressed against his back and she leaned her head over his shoulder, pressing a kiss to his cheek.

Hiccup smiled and placed a hand over her clasped ones over his stomach.

"We're here," He said as they landed.

Astrid got off Toothless and walked over to Stormfly. "Did you see that? He made me win again," Astrid said, looking at Hiccup before she turned and looked at Stormfly.

She pointed a finger at her. "And you threw me off!" She yelled playfully. Stormfly straightened herself, looking shocked before she bowed her head and put her cheek against her rider's knees.

"I'm not mad at you though. Don't worry, girl," She said and three her arms over the dragon's large head.

Astrid looked over at Hiccup and saw him scratching Toothless behind his ears. Hiccup looked over at her and walked over, leaving a satisfied Toothless laying on the ground.

"Hey there, Stormfly," He said and put his hand on her jaw, running his hand over the rough scales.

The two stood in silence for a while before Hiccup spoke up. "Astrid," He started and looked at her. Astrid looked up from Stormfly and smiled at him. "Yes?"

"I love you," He said, out of nowhere.

Astrid looked at him with wide eyes before she smiled at him and let go of Stormfly. She walked around the dragon's head and put her hands on Hiccup's chest, not looking him in the eyes yet.

She felt his hands snake around her waist and she was pulled against him. "I love you too, Hiccup," She said and laid her cheek on his collar, her nose brushing against his neck and his hair tickling her face.

"Thank you, Astrid," She heard him say and she looked up, seeing him look down at her with loving eyes. Her heart skipped a beat but she smiled at him and trailed a hand up the side of his neck and brushing her thumb against his jawline.

"Why are you thanking me, babe?" She asked and Hiccup pulled away, gesturing for them to go inside. She nodded and looked at Stormfly. "You're free to go, girl," She said and the dragon nodded, flying off to a bathing place.

The two walked inside with Toothless following after them. The dragon laid down around the fireplace and sighed happily, stretching himself out and yawning.

Hiccup walked over to the table at the back of the house. Astrid stopped in front of him and he placed a hand on her waist, pulling her in.

"Thank you, Astrid," Hiccup started and placed his free hand, - his left hand - on her cheek, running his thumb over her bottom lip. "Thank you for everything," He said and trailed his hand down the side of her neck, over her collarbone, down her side and up again before he trailed his hand down her arm, forearm and then grabbing her hand.

Astrid shuddered when he pulled her closer. Hiccup leaned his head close to hers, his lips almost touching hers. "I never thought I would get to marry anyone, especially you but you're here now. Thank you, M'lady. I love you," Hiccup whispered and pressed a small kiss to the corner of her mouth.

Astrid pulled away and looked at him. "Babe, I always thought I would be a shield maiden but you came along and I'm more than happy to be Genaral and Chieftess now. I'll always be here, don't forget that," She said, hands on his cheeks.

"I know," Hiccup whispered and placed his hands on top of hers. "Thank you, M'lady." He let go of her hands and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her into a hug.

Astrid smiled.

Only a few more days and they would be inseparable. He was her home. Home was wherever he was and would always be.
