"Hiccup! What were you thinking!?" Astrid yelled at him as she walked into the Academy. He had brought in Toothless for the kids to teach them about the Night Fury and one of the guys had jumped onto Toothless' back without permission.

Of course, Hiccup had told him to stop and Toothless had stayed calm because he didn't want to hurt the kid.

However, the kids had just started training that day and, first of all, Hiccup didn't know anyone by name and second, they had no idea what they were doing, whatsoever and the boy who had jumped onto Toothless, grabbed him by the ears and pulled them really hard.

In reflex, Toothless had shook his head and sent the kid flying like a glove in the wind, making him land on top of a bunch of boxes.

He injured his arm and he had to go to Gothi. Lucky, his parents told him that it wasn't Hiccup's fault and he got away with it.

Still, when Astrid heard about it, she stopped what she had currently been doing and marched right over to the Academy.

Hiccup whipped around to look at his fiancé. "What? Wait, what- Astrid, Hi! Uh, what are you talking about?" He asked, fumbling on his words, not knowing what to say.

"You know exactly what I mean."

He walked up to her slowly, Toothless by his side, and leaned in to kiss her on her forehead. Astrid pushed him away even tho she wanted that kiss and confronted him. "The kid, Hiccup. The kid Toothless threw off," She said, her voice stern. She glanced at Toothless and he huffed at her, a cloud of smoke coming out from his nose trails.

"Oh. It wasn't my fault. I tried to stop him but he didn't listen to me. It was all his fault. I told them in the first place not to mess with Toothless because he wouldn't tolerate it but they didn't listen-"

"Oh, stop whining, you big baby. I know it wasn't your fault," She said, her face softening as she grabbed the strap on his chest to pull him in.

"You-you're not mad?" Hiccup asked, raising his hands and hesitantly putting them on her waist. "No. It was the boys fault. I know you would never want to hurt anyone. Neither does Toothless unless he really has to," She said, patting the Dragons head with her free hand. He gave her a gummy smile and trotted off.

"So..." Hiccup started.

Astrid turned her head towards him. "I love you," She said, pulling him in swiftly, crushing their bodies together as her arms wrapped around his neck and her lips met his.

"I love you too," He mumbled into the kiss.

They stayed there for a while before Astrid pulled away. She gazed into his eyes as she tapped a finger to the scar on his chin. "At least, now I know that you're gonna be a great father," She whispered.

Hiccup looked at her with wide eyes and a huge smile before looking down. "No, no, no. I'm not pregnant. I'm just saying that you're gonna be a great father."

Hiccup groaned.

She laughed and kissed him again.
