ID Card
(A/N: Let's just say...I screamed out when I saw this. I changed the age to 10 just because.)
Astrid unlocked the door to the Haddock household, holding a bag of groceries, sighing happily. Destin trotted after his mother, kicking a football on his way towards the door. "Dad! Catch it!" He exclaimed happily before kicking the ball towards his father.
Hiccup closer the car door and shifted the grocery bag from one hand to another, smiling.
"Kick it," He said, challenging his son. Destin did as he was told, smiling a toothy smile, showing off his blue braces as he kicked the ball towards his father.
Hiccup caught it with his good foot and dribbled it before looking at his ten-year-old. "You ready?" He asked and motioned towards the door. Destin looked behind him before positioning himself at the door as if it was a soccer goal.
"I'm ready."
Hiccup smiled before kicking the ball hard. It flew past Destin and hit the corner of the door frame, flying inside the house and the sound of their two dogs barking was heard. "Guys! Come on! I told you...no football in the house!" Astrid's voice was heard from inside.
The two looked at each other, scared. "We're in trouble," Destin said. Hiccup walked up to him. "Big trouble," He said, overexaggerating. The two walked in and Hiccup closed the door after them. Taking his only shoe off, he walked into the kitchen and put the grocery bag down onto the counter.
"Sorry, M'lady," Hiccup apologized and pressed a kiss to his wife's cheek. Astrid looked at her husband, rolling her eyes before grabbing the grocery bag he had put down. "Sorry, mom," Destin said as he walked up to her, his head bowed and the football in his arms.
Astrid looked at him with a smile as she crouched down. "It's fine. Just don't do it again," She said before kissing his head. "I promise," The boy said with a big smile. Standing up, she faced Hiccup.
"And you," She started, her finger pointing at him. "Oooh, daddy's in trouble," Came Destin's voice from the living room. Hiccup gulped. "You shouldn't encourage him to do stuff like that," She continued, finger poking his chest.
Hiccup smiled at her nervously. "Sorry," He said, his voice faint. "Good. Now, help me with the groceries," She said and gave him the greens. "Yes, ma'am," He said before opening the fridge and putting in the things she handed to him.
Destin's laughing was suddenly heard and Hiccup looked at his son, walking over to him.
"What's so funny?" Astrid asked as she put the dog food away into the cabinets.
Holding up her ID card, he continued to laugh and said, "I can't believe you're so bad in sex that you failed it."
"Excuse me?!"
Lucky for Hiccup, there was a couch behind him because the fall would've been hard if there hadn't been one. The two laughed uncontrollably while Astrid stood in the kitchen, hand on her head as she shook it.
"These two will be the death of me."
There was never a place people wouldn't laugh when they told that story.
(A/N: Just something short I threw together in 15 minutes after reading that.)
