Let us start this novel from the very beginning of my high school life, up to the day where Little Astrid finally turned, had been slapped face-front, and then got flipped and maneuvered out of life itself, and now we're here — puny love interests.

Love at first sight? It's more like the novel cliché from the first encounter. Cheesy pick-up lines? More like romance etched in delicate tongues.

And who on earth taught me all that? Well, who else? Open the door, you've got the key. I welcome you to this ironic anomaly.

Here is one heck of a roller coaster ride — my freshman year at Greendale High.

Here's to hoping that my third revision of this book will not flop again. Hello! It's Jae, a.k.a. TheCoolestAstrid, a.k.a. aegyosthetic, a.k.a. idk-who-the-heck-i-am-anymore because I left this fandom years ago, but hey! There's always time to publish everything. It's the year 2020. Looking back now, it sure has been a heck of a ride. Suddenly HTTYD is finished now. Suddenly Hiccup and Astrid are canon with kids. Toothless too. To all you young fans who have read this, thank you for trusting me until now. I never deleted this book despite my growth as a writer because I'm fond of looking back at memories, no matter how big or small they are.

I will make this at least decent because I felt like this is all waaay too badly written. Childish layout, immature-written, half-assed (sorry for the term), just . . . all the bad things.

I hope this story will become better, sorry for being such a bad writer, as well as being a lazy one. I'll become better, and that's a promise. I was just a normal Hiccstrid fan before when I came across Wattpad and decided to publish this book. I never expected it to be this huge and--just wow.

Incredibly sorry for I have left the Hiccstrid fandom. I still respect HTTYD and that is enough. I know this isn't time for fangirling or any crazy crap, but, does anyone else listen to kpop or Korean music in general here? As a lame excuse of my departure from the Hiccstrid / HTTYD fandom, I am now actually focusing on music and k-music specifically, hence my lack of updates and edits and such. I might have disappointed any of you for I have left Hiccstrid for other fandoms, but hey, nothing's really permanent.

Do you know why TheCoolestAstrid is still my username? Simple. I still care for them. I'm planning to change it soon, but please don't be mad. *insert derp*

The characters already look like their 20 year-old appearance in HTTYD 2 but I aged them 13-14 years old because of their Freshman year.
