A S T R I D

I kept on running...

Running away from a gang of drunken men...

"Get her!!" Shouted one.

Then he showed up...He came to my rescue...

His face still shining as the moonlight struck it in pure grace.

"Leave the girl...Alone." He defended.

One of the drunken men got insane and swung his cracked bottle of beer over Hiccup and hit his head...

He's gone...

Blood started pouring and I was there..Kneeling in front of him..Sobbing uncontrollably while he strokes my golden blonde hair...

"I'll always be in your heart.Remember that,Asty." He told me and slowly closed his eyes,making me sob more.

"NOOO!!--"

"-OOOOOOO!!"

I woke up from a heavy pressure in my chest.

I started breathing heavily while Stormfly nuzzled my cheek with her feathers.

"I'm okay,girl." I told the parrot.

"Dear??What's wrong?Any problems?" My mom barged in my room as she felt my neck,checking my temparature.

"Oh my!You're sweating!Now go to your bathroom and wash up...Your breakfast is all ready downstairs." She told me.

"I'm fine mom..Just some nightmare kicking in." I weakly said.

She went out my room and I took a quick shower.

{Moments later...}

I wore my designer tunic,checkered mini skirt,knee high socks and wore my ankle fluffy boots.

I let my hair down,and instead put a hair clip on the top.

I clung my bag on my shoulder and stormed downstairs.

"Wow sweety!New look,huh?Beautiful!" My mom exclaimed.

I just playfully rolled my eyes and munched down my sandwich.

The school bus honked outside,alerting me.

I instantly stood up and gave my mom a quick kiss on the cheek and bid her goodbye.

H I C C U P

I went in the campus as something caught my attention.

It was Astrid...Her hair was in perfect waves and curls...She wore a pretty outfit and her face had light make-up on...She looked like an angel.

I snapped out of my thoughts when Heather tapped my shoulder.

"Come on babe!Had enough staring at that...Eew!You're staring at Astrid??Pfft!Oh please,you have me." She said as she held my chin.

Ouch!!Lucky Astrid didn't hear that.

"Yeah uhmm...We should probably be going now." I said,taking a final glance at Astrid.

"Now,Ms. Hofferson.Tell me all the parts on the Table Of Elements." Mr. Treechy Rousse(A/N:Alvin The Treacherous)asked Astrid.

She stood up confidently and recited the Table Of Elements.

Oh boy...Hiccup stop staring!

I scolded my mind and looked away,looking at Heather put thick lipstick on her mouth.

I felt disgusted for a while but then ignored it.

"...you are now dismissed." Mr. Treechy Rousse said after forever.

I catched up to Astrid for me to be IGNORED again.

"Hey!Astrid...Please,just even...Listen for a while!" I managed to say while panting.

She stopped on her tracks,and turned around,sighing while rolling her eyes.

"What?!" She blurted out.

Wow,she really DID became cold.

"Look,I don't know what's going on with you but you keep on ignoring me.Tell me,what's wrong?" I said finally looking at her eyes that--Oh stop it Haddock!

"Figure it out yourself. Now excuse me,I'll be ignoring some popular guys around." She said poking my chest and sternly raised her brow.

She walked away while I was there.Thinking why she recently became like...That...

"Hey Hiccup!Wanna become my escort for the Glamour Ball?" A random girl asked me.

"Oh..Sorry miss.I can't..I already have my girlfriend." I said and ran.

I feel so down today...

Why?It's like my bestfriend is already gone.

"Why so down babe?Miss me,right?" Called Snotlout at me with an ugly wink.

I smacked his face and went to my next class.

Who will I go out with at the Glamour Ball?

Maybe just my brother...My idiotic brother.
