Chapter 6: Captured and Balbadd
Third P.O.V.
You know, when (Y/N) got knocked out she had been mad. Like, really mad. She couldn't believe she had let herself and her brother be captured. How unseemly of an older sister!
At least the other people that had been thrown in the cage with them were all nice, despite the stress of the situation. Aladdin even made conversation with them, as usual, and befriended them easily, telling them their stories.
(Y/N) sighed as she leaned against the bars of the cage, gripping her wrist unconsciously. The weight of Aida's bracelet had always been a comfort, and having it taken was not only stressful but a shame. She sighed, as Aladdin just sat there quietly, a bit further towards the back of the cage. Dammit. Captured by slave traders. Can't get much worse than that. If only I was super strong or knew the right spell I could get us out dammit. Har-har-infigar only causes huge explosions, so it's obviously no when we cannot even aim it.
(Y/N) sighed, looking down. I'll think of something. Can't let ourselves be sold.
As (Y/N) sulked, suddenly the door burst open, shattering in splinters of wood. All the people in the cage turned around startled, as a young girl stood in the doorway, holding a small child and a bag.
"H-hey what's going on?!"
"It's time to escape." The girl said, reddish pink hair tied in a side ponytail. "The keys are inside this bag." She threw the bag she held beside the cage, and everyone scrambled to the bars, reaching out for the bag and keys. The young girl destroyed the door of the cage with a kick, metal bending and creaking to her strength and will, falling sideways.
(Y/N) jumped up, startled at the change as people shoved her. She turned to look at the girl, and squinted for a moment. Wait. Don't I know her?
Morg!!
(Y/N) gaped at the girl and scrambled to get to Aladdin, dodging the other people, as the same time as the parents of the child she carried called out for her.
"Narja!"
"Mother, father!"
The girl smiled softly as she handed the child to her parents, saying "Hurry, get her some medicine."
"Where is that medicine?"
"In my bag!"
Aladdin raised his gaze to look at the newcomer as (Y/N) nudged him insistently and gasped quietly. "Hey lady, are you the one from that day?"
(Y/N) smiled and nodded at her brother, as she waved Morgiana over. "Hey, we're here!"
Morgiana instantly looked around, searching for the siblings, until she spotted them in a corner. She gaped at them, recognizing them instantly.
Aladdin looked at his sister with a huge smile, grabbing her hand and shaking it. "It is her!"
"Of course! I said so!" (Y/N) said with a laugh, looking at Morgiana. It seems she's no longer shackled. That's great.
One of the men Aladdin had been talking to turned to him in confusion. "You two know her?"
"Yeah, of course! She's the powerful slave lady I told you about!" Aladdin replied with a grin.
(Y/N) coughed and slapped his head lightly. "That's rude, don't call her a slave lady, she's not a slave." She muttered quietly at him.
Aladdin seemed to blush a bit with embarrassment, as Morgiana could only stare at them in awe and crouch in front of them.
"I don't understand how someone as powerful as you would be captured like this." Morgiana asked
(Y/N) chuckled nervously, fiddling with her braids. "Yeah. We were kind of knocked out."
Aladdin nodded in agreement, with an embarrassed smile. "They dropped huge bulders onto our caravan and we passed out. By the time we woke up, we were like this with everyone else." Aladdin explained, raising his shackled wrists for Morgiana to see.
Morgiana nodded quietly in understanding and (Y/N) chuckled. Still not much of a talker I suppose.
"This way chief!"
"Don't let them escape no matter what!"
The voices of guards reached them and everyone tensed.
"This is bad.."
(Y/N) sighed, standing up and brushing off her clothes. Well, that's not good. We need our things. Just as (Y/N) started to worry, someone else called out from the other side,
"Hey you two! This is yours, isn't it?"
One of the men from the caravan held their flute and the bracelet in one hand. (Y/N) grinned, jumping to grab them. "You found them!" She exclaimed, immediately slipping on her bracelet and sighing at the comfort of it. "Thanks Mido!"
She went back to Aladdin and handed him his flute, grinning widely. Warmth spread from her bracelet to the cuffs, in a moment the screws were melted and the cuffs fell, useless.
"Now we can do something." She smirked, as Aladdin grinned at his flute.

To (Y/N)'s annoyance, she had to hug her brother to herself, holding his shoulders to stop him from rubbing his face into Sahsa's boobs.
"Ala, for Solomon's sake, be polite!"
Aladdin pouted as he hugged Sasa briefly before being dragged back. "Long time no see Sahsa!"
Leila, the blonde girl chuckled as she looked at them, sweatdropping. "Same old Aladdin I see."
(Y/N) sighed. They had all managed to get out with the help of Ugo and Aida destroying pretty much everything and scaring all the slave traders away and had met up with a group of people that had apparently been on their way to get rid of the bandits. Amongst the group were Leila and Sahsa, two girls from a caravan with whom (Y/N) and Aladdin had first stayed, right after leaving the Room of Fortitude. I'm glad to see them again, despite the circumstances.
Morgiana looked at Leila, curiously, gaze mostly blank. "So these are the mysterious children you were talking to me about."
Aladdin nodded, leaning into his sister's hug as she held him back from going to Sahsa, struggling to hold him. "We all met in the town we were in before we met Alibaba!"
Sahsa smiled and laughed softly. "Still, to think that you knew them too Morgiana. What an amazing coincidence!"
(Y/N) laughed with her, as she went to hug Leila and Sahsa, squishing Aladdin in the middle. "It's nice to see you two again. It's hard to deal with Aladdin on my own sometimes."
"Hey!" Aladdin protested with a pout, as the girls laughed, patting his head.
"Well, I wouldn't call it that."
They turned around to see the man speaking, the old leader of the caravan, smiling at them. "Unexpectedly crossing paths with friends is something that happens often during a journey."
"Right, exactly like we did!" The gruff man beside him exclaimed with a smile, a small clawed animal hanging from his shoulder.
"Good for you, you can go to Balbadd now!" The old man said to Morgiana with a smile.
(Y/N) and Aladdin glanced at each other and smiled widely. "You're going to Balbadd too Morgiana?" (Y/N) asked her.
"So are we!" Aladdin exclaimed excitedly.
"This one said that the person he wanted to see wasn't in Qishan anymore, so we decided to go to Balbadd instead." The gruff man explained. He had been the leader of the caravan that had brought (Y/N) and Aladdin all the way from the Kouga lands, coincidentally enough.
Aladdin nodded, and stretched his hand out to shake Morgiana's. "This is perfect! Why don't we go together!"
Excitement jittered off (Y/N) in waves and she smiled widely at Morgiana. "Yeah! Come on! Plus, it'd be nicer to have someone else to help me look after him."
Morgiana smiled at them softly, but widely and shook Aladdin's hand. "I have no objections."
Feeling better already and excited after so many days in the cage (Y/N) smiled widely. Now we're getting somewhere! We'll see Alibaba again too! The gang back together! Magang? Magigang?
Nevermind, that sounds terrible.
~~~~><><><~~~~
(Y/N) sat beside Morgiana and Aladdin on a step, watching everyone celebrate and feast after the hard day.
"You know what? They say that the world is actually all connected." Aladdin said, as he held the staff he had recovered in his lap, smiling at the crowd. "So even if we get separated from each other, none of us are alone. You're always connected in some way to the people who are dear to you, forever!"
(Y/N) smiled and patted his head, looking at the happy crowd and closing her eyes. "Indeed. Our bonds never fade."
Morgiana smiled and looked up at the starry sky, a warmth in her heart in the cool night.
'At that moment I'm sure I heard Goltas' voice speak in my heart.'
(Y/N) smiled, looking up at the moon and letting herself lay back on the stone, looking up at the stars. My birthday is coming up, if my calculations are not wrong. Then again, time is not exactly normal in the Room of Fortitude, it's hard to tell if I even have a birthday.
I'd like to spend it with our friends.
I hope Alibaba is doing okay.
~~~~><><><~~~~
"Bye, see ya!"
"Let's meet again someday!"
Sahsa and Leila waved goodbye to them, as their cart drove away.
(Y/N), Aladdin and Morgiana stood on the road, waving them goodbye as they disappeared from their view.
"See you guys!"
As they faded from view Aladdin turned to Morgiana and (Y/N) with a smile, exclaiming "Well c'mon, let's go!"
"Alright." Morgiana replied quietly.
And so the three started to walk down the road barefoot, holding their bags on their shoulders. As they walked Aladdin turned to them, smiling. "Let's look out for each other, okay Ms. Morgiana?"
"Yes." Morgiana agreed.
"Hey Ms. Morgiana is pretty long, so what should I call you?" Aladdin asked her, tilting his head.
(Y/N) hummed, holding her chin. "You've got a point."
"Call me whatever you wish." Morgiana answered.
Aladdin smiled and exclaimed, "Morg then!"
Morgiana hummed, but gave no other reaction to the nickname. (Y/N) pouted a bit, and nudged her softly. "Don't like it?"
"It's fine." Morgiana said, shaking her head slightly with a tiny smile.
(Y/N) chuckled, looking up at the blue sky. This is nice.
~~~~><><><~~~~
"Hey Morg. You're going to Balbadd so you can get on a ship to your homeland, right?" Aladdin asked the redhead.
"Yes, but there's something I've been meaning to tell you. You see, I wanted to thank you two and Alibaba." Morgiana answered, as she walked.
(Y/N) paused, raising her brows at the Fanalis and tilting her head. "What do you mean?"
"Thank us?" Aladdin questioned in confusion, halting too.
Morgiana smiled at them widely, magenta eyes bright. "I'm grateful. You've given me a future of true freedom. I am forever in your debt." Morgiana explained, bright even as she suddenly bowed her head to the ground. "Thank you Aladdin, (Y/N)."
Aladdin and (Y/N) stammered. "Hey, c'mon it's alright Morg! And if we know Alibaba, he feels the same way! So there's no need to thank us, because Alibaba is that kind of guy, you know?"
(Y/N) nodded vigorously pulling Morgiana up gently. "Yeah yeah! Don't bow to us! It is you who deserves the bowing if anything after saving all those people and going through all of that!"
Morgiana let herself be helped up, a sweet smile stretching out on her face. "Okay." She said quietly.
Aladdin grinned at them, leaning back his head on his arms. "Oh boy, it's been so long! I can't wait to see him again!"
"Yes, we will be able to. If we follow this road." Morgiana said with a smile, pointing to the path they were following.
Aladdin and (Y/N) looked at each other and nodded with a smile. "Alright! Then let's go!"
As they turned back around to look down the path they stilled and gasped, seeing Alibaba for a moment. Until they saw the naked man just standing there, arms wide open and privates barely covered with a leaf that was defying gravity.
Morgiana and Aladdin could only stare up and down at the naked muscular man, wide eyed and in complete shock.
The man had dark violet hair, and his golden earrings clinked like bells when he moved his head as he spoke, "Oh hello! Real nice weather today, huh?"
Before (Y/N) could even begin to process what she was seeing, her nose trickled with red blood and she gasped, quickly turning scarlet and scrambling back with embarrassment. "What the hell?!" She exclaimed.
That made Aladdin and Morgiana snap out of their trance and then they were gasping like fish out of water, jaw dropped. Aladdin's instant reaction was to move his hands out as if to cover his sister and Morgiana, gritting his teeth. "Look out sis', Morg! Get back!"
"It's okay, just leave everything to me!" Morgiana exclaimed, even as she desperately tried to avoid looking at the man and raised her fists.
Aladdin shook his head, lips pursed seriously. "He might be a monster!" He protested. He glanced back at his sister, who was sprawled on the ground as red as a tomato and covering her face.
"He killed sis!"
"Understood. I'll take care of it." Morgiana replied coldly, gaze turning to the man.
The man started to panic at their reactions, sweatdropping and raising his hands. "H-hey wait! I'm not! I'm not! Just hear me out!"
(Y/N) stood back up, wiping the blood with the back of her hand and pointing at him furiously red. "Speak now or never!" She yelled. Embarrassment coursed through her veins, both hot and cold as her skin flared up and she looked away from the man. "How do you plea!?"
"H-hey wait a second!"
Your P.O.V.
I sat beside Aladdin, as far away as possible from the strangely handsome man and squirming in my seat with embarrassment.
"I appreciate you lending me these clothes Aladdin, thanks." The man thanked him, torso scantily covered by a white vest that was clearly twenty sizes to small, not to mention the cloth down there that barely hid anything.
What do you mean clothes?!?! They barely do anything! He just looks like a stripper from one of those clubs Aladdin likes! I covered my face in embarrassment, as my face blushed up to my ears again. I had never felt anything towards another person before. I mean sure, Alibaba was handsome and cute and all. But he was also pretty much the first boy of similar age to me that I ever saw. This guy was a little bit more...well, mature clearly. Plus, you couldn't really compare my reactions; it's not valid because Alibaba wasn't naked the first time I saw him!
"My name's Sin." The man said as he leaned towards the fire. "I got totally cleaned out by some bandits on my way to Balbadd today."
I snorted nervously. Oh he's sinful alright.
....
WHY AM I HAVING THESE THOUGHTS?! THIS IS SO EMBARRASSING!
I whined and pulled at my hair, becoming redder and more embarrassed. Morgiana seemed to be just as in shock as me, as she sat to the right of Sin, but with her whole body angled the other way, as if she wanted to run. I sighed, fidgeting with my braids, praying that my face would cool down. Well this is extremely awkward for me.
"I see, I'm sorry mister." Aladdin replied, sweatdropping a bit and raising his brows in a sheepish expression. "As somebody who's crossed the desert, I guess we can get a little paranoid about danger sometimes."
That caught the man's attention, and his gaze flitted between Aladdin and my red self, holding his chin in thought. "Ah, so you've crossed the desert?" He mused with interest.
"We've made it from the North Tian Shan Plateau to the Central Desert!" Aladdin replied a bit mor excitedly, gesturing wildly. "We saw so many unusual plants and animals along the way, right sis?"
I coughed a bit, embarrassed at being included in the conversation, but I nodded. "Y-yeah, we walked pretty much the whole way. It was way too hot and I pretty much for burns for life." I said, trying to keep my composure.
Sin smiled and nodded, grabbing a stick to adjust the campfire. "I'm sure, good. That sense of euphoria from coming upon known lands and knowledge. The confidence that comes from finding new paths, the experience, the bond between friends you'd risk your life for. Adventures are great. It's truly everyone's dream."
Morgiana relaxed slightly the more the man talked, seemingly getting convinced that he was not actually a crazy person. Even I started to relax and the blush disappeared quickly as I raised my brows at Sin, curious. This guy speaks from experience clearly. So he's really not just a random pervert in the woods.
Aladdin jumped up and nodded in agreement, excited. "Yeah, I get it! I know exactly how you feel!"
Sin turned to look at Morgiana, smiling. "Not only that, but one of the perks of going on a journey, is meeting sweet young girls like you."
Even though he said it nicely and completely normally I still tensed as bit. Nevermind. He might be a weirdo after all.
Morgiana seemed to be just as confused and only hummed slightly. A strong breeze went past us ruffling our hair, bringing with it the smell of salt. Morgiana stood up and sniffed the air, closing her eyes. "The scent of the ocean."
I stood up in wonder and sniffed too, a wondrous smile growing on my face. "It smells... fresh. Nice."
"You should be able to see it just beyond that hill." Sin said smiling.
We looked at each other and then sprinted to the hill, running to the edge. We stared in wonder, at the sight of a large city stretching out before us, almost fading from our view. The blue ocean seemed to fade into the city, a canal leading it inland. Boats floated not too far from the shore, some leaving some fishing.
I gaped at it in wonder. I've never seen a city so huge! Can it even be called a city at this point?
Aladdin gasped at the sight, "So this is-"
"Balbadd." Morgiana said in awe, wide eyed at the huge expanse of land that stretched out before us.
"That's right. This is the mighty coastal nation made up of several hundred other islands, both big and small." Sin said, walking up to us with our bags on his shoulders. "With this port city as a its capital... the Kingdom of Balbadd."
I hummed in thought. The more Sin talked, the more he started to seem slightly familiar. Do I know this guy? No. It's impossible. I've been in the Room of Fortitude my whole life. I rolled my eyes at my own impossible thoughts and chuckled in wonder, looking down at the city.
"Let's get down there!"
~~~~><><><~~~~
We walked around the capital, studying the market's stalls and crossing alleys and streets. But the more we looked the more I grew unsettled, as I saw the slums were bigger than they should have been and the amount of children with rags and begging for money and food just seemed to increase.
I squeezed Aladdin's hand as we walked, unsettled and looking for reassurance of something.
We walked to the port, and around the docks. A sign on the wall painted with red caught our attention and Aladdin and I halted. "Overthrow the monarchy?" We muttered in question.
"Ever since the death of the former king, the whole country has been in crisis." Sin explained, golden eyes narrowed at the bricked wall.
I pursed my lips at the wall, as we continued walking with Sin to wherever he was supposed to go. I stared in awe at the luxury building that rose in front of us, as Sin stepped on to the stairs and gestured to the building with a grin.
"But you three will be perfectly safe here. It's where I always stay; the finest luxury hotel in the country. And I'll take care of the bill." Sinbad concluded, smiling. "You three can stay here as long as you desire."
The three of us gaped at him and the building and I couldn't help the suspicion itching in the back of my mind. A guy is robbed, and apparently he's got enough money for this kind of luxury? Not only that, but he clearly has adventuring experience. Just who is this guy?
Aladdin gasped in awe and smiled widely. "Wow! Thanks mister!"
Morgiana nodded and bowed repeatedly with a smile. I smiled a bit tightly and bowed too, looking at Sin. "You're really rich huh?"
Sinbad laughed and walked up the steps confidently, despite his state of well, barely dressed.
Of course, the guards stopped him, blocking his way.
"Who the heck are you?!"
"Shady bastard!"
"Really? What's so shady about me?"
"C'mon it's so obvious!"
"Really what part of me are you referring to?"
I sighed, eyebrows twitching.
Yeah, sounds about right. Never mind the comfort of a nice bed, we're sleeping in the streets tonight.
