So some backstory on her:

Aquarius is from a dystopian future, in which some people have been identified for having unique powers. They have been outlawed for being considered a threat against their fellow humans. Called "Salemers," these witches can only be freed from their power from being burnt at a stake. Unfortunately, they loose their lives in the process.
