Chapter 7

(I know that the camping arc should happen later in the story like at chapter 40 or something but I wanted to show something that happens between Hana and Katsuki after he gets kidnapped)
DAY TWO
--------------------(play music on cue)

Hana yawned as she brushed her teeth, her long hair messy and tangled, she wore a plain white shirt and some black shorts. Looking at herself in the mirror she frowned. How could Katsuki like her? First, she's deaf, second, she's clumsy, can't even speak right, how could someone as amazing as the Katsuki Bakugou like someone like her?

She shook the thoughts away and washed her mouth out with water. Putting in her hearing aids, she turned them on a medium setting.

After getting changed, she wore a baby blue button-up that was thin(not see-through) and comfortable with a pair of brown shorts. Walking to the dining room, she saw Kota sneaking out. Confused she left a note on the table and followed after him.

I saw Kota sneaking out, I'll bring him back later.--Hana

Following the little boy, he cut through the bushes, Hana used her quirk to move aside gently. This continued on through the entire walk until they reached a rocky mountain. Curious and cautious, she dragged her hand across the wall as she followed up the trail. Good thing she was wearing her hiking shoes.

Seeing Kota at the top, she continued her pace, slow and steady. A frown tugged at her lips, maybe she should've brought Midoriya or Katsuki with her. Midoriya would probably do a better job than she would. Once she got to the top, Kota yelled as Hana accidentally scared him. Shooting a water blast at her face, she gasped and tripped over her own feet. Her hand slipped off the edge and she began to fall backward.

A hand gripped her's quickly and pulled her up.

Kota had glistening eyes full of tears as he watched the girl he liked almost fall to her death. Midoriya sighed in relief and helped the girl stand.

She smiled gratefully and bowed slightly, "I saw your note and it had been an hour so I got worried." Midoriya explained slowly so Hana could understand.

Hana smiled warmly and nodded.

Kota grabbed Hana's hand gently almost scared that she would fall if he let go. "I'm sorry...I thought it was one of the other people, so I shot without thinking." Kota apologized. Hana shook her head and patted his head even though he wore a hat.

He looked up at Hana smiling softly.

----------------------

Kota had fallen asleep in Hana's arms as she carried him back to the camp with Midoriya. Katsuki noticed Hana and the brat in her arms but growled when he saw Midoriya, the green-haired boy took Kora from Hana's arms and ran back inside and then continued his training somewhere other than Katsuki. The teens stared at each other before Hana opened her arms. Katsuki grumbled out curses as he tucked himself her arms. She smiled as she felt the boy rest his forehead on her neck and shoulder joint.

The two continued to hug until Katsuki pulled away, explaining that he has to go train for a few more hours. She waved and went back the direction she came. Finding a peaceful spot in the woods, she held her hands out as the trees and grass began to do what she wanted.

Keeping at it for around an hour or two, she finally focused on one tree only.

The tree began to dig itself out of the ground and Hana smiled a bit tired from the energy she wasted. Grabbing ahold of the trunk she lifted it on her shoulder and began her trek back to the camp.

When she did get there she smiled and walked over to the shocked students. It seems that Class 1-B made it back to the camp after their training. Vlad King stands next to Aizawa as they converse what they should do next to their students.

Koji smiles shyly at Hana as she waves back. Suddenly the boy realizes what she is carrying and gasps.

The other students see Hana and wave but are shocked as well.

I mean, she's small but how can she carry a huge tree on her shoulder?!

Katsuki looks down at his sore arms, it burns a couple of times with the boiling water. He winced slightly when he flexed and relaxed his hand. "Kaede, what are you doing?" Aizawa's stern voice entered his ears.

"Dumbass?" he voiced. Looking up he gaped at the girl. The girl noticed Katsuki and waves him over. Signing to him she explained why she was carrying a huge ass tree.

"She said it was for firewood..." Katsuki retorted. Aizawa sighed, of course, it was.

Using his capture scarf he took the tree and placed it by the furnaces. Katsuki glanced at Hana as she pooped her back.

She had a couple of scratches on her hands from the bark scratching against the skin, just as he was about to say something to Hana, they were once again interrupted by the girls dragging Hana away. Hana glanced over her shoulder at Katsuki giving him a sad look.

Like she wanted to talk to him. They haven't had any time to talk ever since the incident (meaning the boys room walk-in) Katsuki frowned. Grabbing Hana's wrist he yanked her to his side wincing unnoticed by the girls except for Hana.

Hana glanced at his slight red arms some scratches here and there but his palms we're rougher than usual. "Leave her alone for once!" Katsuki grunted. Mina crossed her arms.

"Or what?" Katsuki smirked viciously, "Or i'll make you leave her alone, one explosion to the face would do just right!" he threatened. Hana who read his lips looked at him incredulously. He never acted like this!

Gently pulled the boy away to get the ingredients of the curry, Katsuki huffed slightly. Hana frowned.

Katsuki noticed this and glanced away. Hana should be smiling like she always does, not frowning. That was his job, to make her laugh, not to make her sad or mad. He gritted his teeth. His jaw clenching, a soft hand caressed his cheek made him look down at the shorter girl.

She smiled at him. His ears burned as he clicked his tongue. "Whatever." he really did like her.

------------------------

DAY THREE

A few students were left with Aizawa and Vlad King for studying purposes because they failed the exam. Hana was left alone with Katsuki as he trained. "If you strain your arms too much, you'll cause permanent tissue and muscle damage." Hana pointed out. Katsuki clicked his tongue.

"I...Don't care." he retorted. Hana narrowed her eyes at him. His heart stopped. It was adorable. The way her cheeks puffed out in anger, her eyes narrowed as her eyebrows furrowed. Katsuki shook his head and looked away from the girl. Dumping his arms in the boiling water he did a battle cry as he threw his hands in the air created a massive explosion. Hana's face remained neutral.

After a few hours, Katsuki and Hana head back to camp to eat since it was dinner. Hana and Katsuki practiced their quirks but Hana on a lesser level than Katsuki. She mostly created targets for Katsuki to use.

After making something to eat, everyone was told that they would be partnered up with someone who they haven't really talked to all that much so they can bond better.

"Since you have been training so well, we made a Mini Test of Courage! Class 1-B will be focused on scaring Class 1-A, Class 1-A will be tasked on not screaming louder than 80 decimals and will have to grab the tags with their names on it! Handed out by Ragdoll, Class 1-B will have to grab these nametags and then the team is out!" Pixie-bob explained.

"Since Hana Kaede is an extra person, she will be assisting in scaring you! Although she will be by herself!" Ragdoll gestured for Hana to head into the forest.

Katsuki watched her leave and jutted his bottom lip out in a pout.

"Tch...as long I don't get half n' half---!" Katsuki looked at Todoroki and his name incredulously.

"You gotta be fucking kidding me, right? Hah!" Katsuki glared at Ragdoll and Pixie-bob and they shook their heads. Mandalay and Tiger looked at the two.

"Face it, your partners." Mandalay sighed.

After the teams were grouped up, Hana smiled as she walked through the woods, she was assigned to scare Yaoyorozu and her partner, suddenly smoke filled the air, covering her nose she walked towards the direction if the smoke.

Her hearing aids began to cut out, sending painful waves of sound to burst into her eardrums. Screaming out, she tore them out of her ears, one managing to cut her ear causing blood to pool out and down her neck.

Interference? They have been fine this entire time, she doesn't understand.

She can't understand. Shoving the hearing aids in her pocket, she marched forward silently into the clouds of smoke. Animals running away from the blue flames licking at their homes.

She gasped.

Hiding behind a none burning tree, she peeked out.

"Check for any Students, do anything to get to Katsuki Bakugou, he's our top priority---" the black-haired male turned around. Hana covered her mouth. Her quickly quickening.

Suddenly there was a loud explosion in the background. Dabi smirked. Toga and Mustard should be over there. Our target is close. Magne and Spinner will take out Pixie-Bob."

Dabi watched as his comrades set out on their tasks and were about to follow through with his but were whacked away with a large vine. Grass grew around his legs keeping him in place.

"An extra?" Dabi muttered. Glancing at the grass that began to extend around his body.

Dabi sighed, burning the grass away he looked around him.

"Come out, come out! I know you are there!" Dabi called out. Walking out of the flames he felt his path be blocked two tree branches whipped out and hit him in the face. Holding his nose, blood coated his fingers and soon the palm of his hand.

"Where the fuck are you?" his voice began to deepen as he became more and more irritated.

Suddenly, Hana jumped out in the open. But the one thing he didn't expect was the tree she threw at him. Burning it away before it hit him. He looked around.

She was gone.

Stupid pests.

(Cue music)

Hana races through the woods, tripping over roots and low branches, her legs bruised and scratched along with her neck and face. Her long hair whipped her back as she ran faster.

"Katsuki!"

The two teens grinned at each other after talking through sign language.

"Katsuki!"

The two stood side to side in the kitchen as they looked at the cookbook. The batter spilled over the counter and flour in handprints on their backs and faces.

"Katsuki!!"

The accidental kiss the two shared, she wouldn't admit it but it meant the world to her. The time that they just looked into each other's eyes.

She loved him.

Just a little more. Please, just a little longer.

She tripped and fell on her face. She curled up in pain before rolling over and getting up. Her side was deeply cut and probably needed stitches.

She ran on the adrenaline pumping in her veins.

"Katsuki--!!" her eyes swelled with which tears brimming her eyes. She was too late. Katsuki's eyes widened one last time seeing her beaten form. She reached out to him.

The portal vanished. Tokoyami was passed out on the ground, Midoriya fell in front of the spot where Katsuki vanished. His heavily damaged arms limp.

Hana looked at the green-haired boy, her eyes dulled and rolled to the back of her head.

She passed out.

The blood loss and level of pain was too much.

They had lost.
