Delilah Holmes always knew what was going to happen, even if it had only been planned seconds prior, she knew what was going to happen. She knew that there was a war going to break out and a large number of casualties were going to come with it, she knew that her last two years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry were going to be filled with terror and lastly she knew that she would not live long enough to have her first child.

And she accepted it, she accepted her fate with open arms knowing fully well that no one else was going to do it for her.

However, she did not know that her fate was going to be tied to a boy, a boy so close to her and that loved her with his whole heart. But even though she knew she was destined to die and live a short life, Delilah dared change her fate, she dared fight it, going against everything she had set up for her as she grew to understand her visions, 

And so Delilah began dating Peter Pettigrew, a shy boy with a passion for sweets that rivaled her own, a boy that was so often overlooked by the students of the school just because he wasn't one of the main duo pranksters in his group of friends, nor the tall and lanky scarred boy. And maybe that's what made her fall in love with him, with his ability to be unnoticed by everyone, with his funny personality and brilliant mind, worthy of being a Ravenclaw if he used it in the right ways.

Peter Pettigrew was the underrated Marauder, the one that was constantly forgotten or ignored, the one that could slip out of the room and no one would notice him, or so he thought. He never thought that he was that important, not to his friends, not to his school, not the world and most certainly not to the upcoming Wizarding War.

And he accepted it, he accepted that he was invisible to everyone, that his life was meaningless and that his fate was nothing but a black hole.

However, he did not know that in fact, that was very far from the truth, he didn't know that his presence, his love and his mere presence would affect the life of many and none more than his own best mates and the girl that would come to be the owner of his heart.

And so Peter began dating Delilah Holmes, a young sweet tooth seer that knew her fate and accepted it willingly, a girl that seemed to radiate sunshine even in the darkest days, a girl that saw him as Peter and not a the overshadowed Marauder, a girl that made him feel as though his future was not as bleak as he thought it would be, a girl that he could most definitely see himself marrying upon graduation. And perhaps that why he fell in love with her, due to her noticing and loving him.

But all visions come true in the end and Delilah's vision of her future was no different, however, that does not mean that her life was any less plenty before she passed.
